Item Analisando a opinião de usuários do Twitter em relação ao lockdown no Brasil: um estudo frente à mídia convencional(2022-05-23) Silva, Paulo Alves da; Belo, Ítalo César de Souza; Oliveira, Marcelo Iury de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328386382232459; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3240928244006916; Não localizadoIn the pandemic scenario, several countries sought alternatives to reduce the high rates of contagion and mortality caused by COVID-19. Among the means used was lockdown, which is characterized as the most stringent measure of social isolation. Although lockdown is considered by many to be an excellent tool for health protection, the adoption of this measure divides opinions. In this sense, sentiment analysis emerges as a mechanism that can be used to understand the population's opinion about the lockdown. The social impact caused by this measure contributes to the emergence of articles from the most diverse media vehicles, which can strongly influence the critical thinking of the population. In this context, the present work performed a sentiment analysis to understand how Twitter users reacted to the lockdown implementation in Brazil during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the results of the Twitter analysis were compared with the content coming from the gray literature, focusing on the articles authored by the conventional media, which addressed information about the theme. To carry out this research, data were extracted from the social network Twitter and processed through an ensemble composed of the following machine learning algorithms: Multinomial Naïve Bayes, SVM, Random Forest, MLP neural network, and the Logistic Regression classifier. In addition, Active Learning techniques, through the uncertainty approach, were combined with the ensemble to obtain higher accuracy of the classified data. According to the results, an interesting predominance of sentiments in favor of lockdown was noticed, as well as conflicts between the data obtained by the Twitter sentiment analysis process and information published in the gray literatureItem Análise comparativa de métodos de aprendizado supervisionado para mineração de opinião dos usuários da plataforma de e-participação votenaweb(2019) Nascimento, Eliaquim Moreira do; Souza, Ellen Polliana Ramos; Santos, Diego George da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1433346297212674; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6593918610781356; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6033431769198675With the help of information technologies, it is possible that the media and participatory media are recognized as democratic and participatory, as well as the participation and collaboration platforms, also known as e-participation and e-collaboration. However, although it is a problem, it is necessary to have a broader view on the perspectives, it is a process that is not analyzed and does not have a process of presentation or bill. It is impossible to be human completely in all content in a reasonable amount of time What has sparked an interest in the community of systems able to obtain additional information about the data type automatically. Opinion mining, also known as sentiment analysis, is an area of study that analyzes people’s feelings and opinions about entities, such as products and services, unstructured formal expressions, such as text, for example. This study, this investigate the case of the class comparator and technique to pre-processing the reviews of users of topics-and-collaboration and e-collations available for the Brazilian citizens. As this article was published, it was published in the magazine Aplications of the portal VOTENAWEB, in view of what is widely used, in addition to allowing publications to comment on a set of projects. This behavior is becoming increasingly common in social networks, where many people confuse freedom of expression with intolerance. Young people are the main users affected since they represent a portion which might be easier to be influenced by the ideology propagated by haters, which in turn spread violence, racism, xenophobia, religious intolerance, etc. The tool that might help to handle this issue is Text Mining, which is capable of capture patterns or trends of texts in natural language. This task can be defined as a method of extracting relevant information in unstructured databases or semi-structured. Given that the Twitter is one of the most used social networks in Brazil, this work aims to implement and evaluate supervised machine learning techniques in order to automatically identify hate speech in tweets. With that in mind, we build a corpus with data collected from Twitter and part of it is manually annotated and subsequently preprocessed so we can obtain the ground truth collection used for training and evaluation of the supervised models. Finally, we conduct a comparison between machine learning algorithms, namely the SVM, Naive-Bayes and Logistic Regression. Later, we identify the best model under the described domain.Item Comitê de classificador para mineração de opinião de eleitores brasileiros(2019) Souza, Guilherme Henrique Pereira de; Souza, Ellen Polliana Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6593918610781356; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2474970020729937The recent and exponential growth of social media and user-generated content on the Internet, provide a wealth of data to uncover the feelings, opinions, and experiences of users and customers. Among the various social media currently available, Twitter stands out, with more than 336 million monthly active users. Understanding what people are thinking or their opinions is critical to decision making, especially in the context in which these people express their comments voluntarily. For this type of analysis, opinion mining is used, also known as sentiment analysis, which analyzes people’s opinions, feelings and emotions about entities such as services, products, brands, individuals, problems, events and topics, be expressed in an unstructured form, as in texts, for example. The spread of social media also raises the possibility of delving deeper into the web to explore and track citizens’ political and electoral preferences. In this sense, recent studies explore social media as a device to assess the popularity of politicians during the campaign. Analyzing social media during an election campaign can be a useful supplement or supplement to traditional surveys, and among the reasons include the low cost and speed of real-time analysis. This paper aims to analyze the efficiency of a ensemble for opinion mining applications, using data extracted from Brazilian voters. In this study, an application of opinion mining was developed at the document level using ensembles, with the objective of analyzing the efficiency of the ensembles in such applications. For that, data extracted from Twitter containing opinions of Brazilian voters were used. Six pre-processing configurations and three ensemble approaches were evaluated: Voting, Bagging and Boosting. The results were obtained in terms of Accuracy. According to the experiments, configuration 3, which uses stopwords, n-gram and TF-IDF, achieved the best results, with a 90.26% accuracy for the committee that used the Boosting approach.Item Comparação da construção de redes neurais nas linguagens R e Python(2021-03-12) Liberal, João Paulo Godê; Paiva Júnior, Sérgio de Sá Leitão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7706717198580424; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1024308436712090This report aims to make a comparison between Artificial Neural Networks (RNAs) written in R and Python languages on Windows 10 and Linux-Ubuntu 20.04 operating systems. The main metrics observed were: execution time in both languages at the different operating systems, considering the time for training and testing the network; the level of accuracy in the different operating systems will also be assessed. The tool used for the development was pycharm, together with the use of libraries keras, tensorflow and pandas. Technology in schools can develop new skills, such as logical thinking, or who welcomes students both at school level and in relation to everyday activities and their working life. The teaching of programming logic is already part of the basic curriculum of many countries, which are related to the importance of logic as a basis for the development of children. In the information society, the use of technologies as a tool to help teachers has gained notoriety, in this sense, Educational Robotics becomes an alternative means for teaching and, consequently, can improve the performance of children in the study of programming logic. . It is in this context that we decorate this research, focused on the development of an educational environment for the teaching of programming logic. The developed environment uses the JavaScript code programming method and block programming, which are used in blocks to drive hardware developed from the combination of interlocking plastic assembly blocks and Arduinopowered electronics. An electronic interface is encapsulated to address any complexities. Thus, as a major contribution, this work brings the development of a solution for teachers and students assisting in the process of teaching and learning the logic of programming, mainly because it is a low cost solution that can be used in work situations and / or in a school environment.Item Desenvolvimento de um ambiente para auxiliar a prática de lógica de programação: uma abordagem de gamificação(2021-03-03) Nogueira, José Elvis da Silva Souza; D'Emery, Richarlyson Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3553920177544450; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7744856274390660Introduction: learning to program is difficult, a fact verified by the high failure rates in courses in the area of Computing, one of the causes being the difficulty of assimilating logical-mathematical concepts. Through a study carried out byPISA in 2015, the students had low performance, with an average of 407 points, where the ideal score would be 698. Another worrying factor is that according to the Ministry of Education (MEC), students finish elementary school unable to read and write properly. According to the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB), the level of learning in the sixth to ninth grade has not improved sufficiently, over the years this level has been decreasing. The Federal Government has invested in education, where it distributed more than 600 thousand tablets in all public schools in Brazil, with the idea of modernizing, and preparing students for the future. This is a small laptop computer, which already comes with software to prepare the student for the National High School Examination (ENEM), these tablets are also used as a support material for classes by teachers and students. In view of these problems, government investments, and the students' access to this technology, has the proposal of developing a Learning Object (OA), seeking to improve teaching and evaluation method, providing greater student interest and automation of the teachers' work. Objective: this work aims to build a Learning Object, in the form of a game, in order to motivate and help the students of the sixth year in learning the Portuguese language. Methodology: in the development of the tool followed a five-step process that occurred in a sequential manner: 1. Determine the subject to be treated in OA; 2. Raise system requirements; 3. Define the proposed system architecture; 4. Develop OA and 5. Validate OA.Results: The learning object was validated with fifteen students at the Cônego Torres school in Serra Talhada -PE. The OA contributed to the students' learning, as they were more interested in learning using the tool and were able to improve their knowledge. The initial median of the students was 7.0 before they used the OA, median calculated on top of each student's grades. After using the OA, the median of the students increasedto 9.0 with a positive result, improving students' learning. Conclusion: it was concluded that expectations were met, both for the students and the teachers who were satisfied, because the tool had a huge contribution in the students' learning, the students were motivated more to learn through the game, and the same complemented the teaching work. Students learned the content easily. OAs are still poorly used in schools, but we conclude that they can be present in the student's daily life, serving as a complement to the subjects studied in the classroom.Item Desenvolvimento de uma Plataforma para Auxiliar Tratamentos Fonológicos(2021-03-09) Silva, Breno Silvério Limeira; D'Emery, Richarlyson Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3553920177544450; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8532592523470199Phonological disorders, also called phonological disorders, can be characterized in several ways, requiring a form of treatment in each of them, which can be through repetition of words, naming of images, assimilation of sounds, etc. This paper presents a computational solution that assists in the speech pathologists decision-making and brings them closer to patients through remote treatment. To meet users’ needs, the association is organized into four main areas: health, social assistance, financial and pedagogical. With this, a great amount of information is generated at all timesand much of this information are shared between these areas of the association. In interviewswith employees and volunteers of the APAE, it was noticed that the current management of user information, mostly done manually, makes it difficult to handle and share essential data among the APAE sectors. Besides that, to search for specific characteristics of the user or to know whichuser has already been answered, or is scheduled the attendance is impracticable, since for thisit would have to check manually all the fiches of the users. Considering the problem faced bythe association, this work has as general aim to develop a module to automate the processes ofmanagement of the social assistance area of the APAE of Serra Talhada-PE. The developmentof the solution, called SysAPAE, is divided into three stages. The first stage consists of thedefinition of the problem, where it was necessary to conduct a semi-structured interview with the employees about the processes they carry out in the APAE. The validation of these processes wasdone through the elaboration and validation of a diagram of the processes of the organization. The second stage consists of the development of the solution, the definition of the requirements, validation of the requirements, through the elaboration and validation of diagrams, as well asthe implementation and implantation of the system. The last step is to evaluate the solutionregarding its usability and satisfaction, in order to identify the improvements that the system hasbrought to the management and discover what to perfect in the system. With the validation ofthe system it was seen that the system was approved regarding the usability and satisfaction test. The social work team has proven that the system makes it possible to work with the informationof the APAE users, as well, to allow an environment of cooperation between the areas of theorganization and that the system improves the efficiency of the processes.Item Desenvolvimento e validação do módulo de gestão pedagógica do SysAPAE(2019) Gomes, Wédson Rodolfo Lopes; Albuquerque, Hidelberg Oliveira; Souza, Ellen Polliana Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6593918610781356; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0955255065576989; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6856457873240027Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are non-profit corporations active in the third sector ofcivil society, with a solidarity action of great importance in the community in which it is inserted, attending in places and situations that the State is little present. One of these organizations is the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (APAE), being the largest philanthropic movement in Brazil, helping children, young people and adults with intellectual disabilities. With the large number and diversity of the APAE users, the classes in general do not have aneducational leveling causing an obstacle in relation to the engagement of all in the pedagogicalactivities, being necessary to elaborate specific types of tasks that fit the educational needs of eachuser. Also, it is worth mentioning that the institution has a great amount of variety of documents, records that are described as reports of activities, performance indicators and characteristics ofthe users of the institution. For these reasons, the aim of this work is to automate the process ofpedagogic management for people with special educational needs of APAE of Serra Talhada - PE.For these reasons, the objective of this work is to automate the process of pedagogic management for people with special educational needs of APAE of Serra Talhada - PE. For this, the method employed is divided into three stages: the first stage is characterized by the identification ofthe problem in which the entire pedagogical management procedure was observed to guaranteethe understanding of the process offered by the organization, the second stage is defined asa survey and validation of the requirements to only begin the process of development of the main functionalities, and finally, to evaluate the system was carried out a case study throughan investigation with educators and pedagogical coordination. Thanks to the validation of the system, it was possible to notice the acceptance, the enthusiasm and the feeling of approval of the tool by the pedagogical team. It is verified that through the collaborative environment thatSysAPAE proposes, the association adds improved data, enhancing the process and pedagogical development.Item DmzVisor: uma abordagem para segurança de zonas desmilitarizadas corporativas em redes definidas por software(2018) Pereira, Valson da Silva; Sena, Ygor Amaral Barbosa Leite de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2441367990383979; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1271684226502864The advance in the use of the world-wide network of computers in the last decades made theinternet become one of the main communication tools around the world. However, the morecompanies provide services via the web, the more they tend to expose their important informationin the network in some way. In this way, there is a need for concern about the safety of theseservices. One of the recommendations for data security of organizations providing externalservices is to use a demilitarized zone (DMZ), which consists of the use of one or more firewallsin their configuration, but can have a considerable financial cost for the company. In addition, many firewall equipment is provided as a black box of proprietary solutions with embeddedsoftware by the manufacturer, so they are few flexible from a personalization point of view. However, through the Software-Defined Networking (SDN) paradigm along with the OpenFlowprotocol, which allows for flexibility in developing software solutions for networks, one has thebenefit of offering a software product as a low-cost alternative and customizable. Through theSDN, the application can be implemented in a high-level programming language and makinguse of free open source tools, so that it also enables the maintenance of the software to suitthe needs of the client. As a result, the overall goal of this work was to develop a corporateSDN firewall as a low-cost alternative, using open source tools, which acts as a packet filter andisolates traffic between the local network and the demilitarized zone , through SDN rules andthe secure implementation of protocol messages such as Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) and Address Resolution Protocol (ARP). In addition to the development of packetfiltering mechanisms for the network and transport layers and to provide more security throughnetwork isolation, a friendly web graphic user interface has also been developed in which theadministrator is able to manage the creating high-level firewall rules, so the user does not needto be aware of the OpenFlow protocol. The evaluation of the proposal was composed by 02scenarios using 6 machines virtualized by VirtualBox. The proposal demonstrated that bothits ARP and DHCP security rules and the firewall rules are effective in the networks that areprotected by the prototype proposed in this work, being able to avoid man in the middle attacks,IP and MAC address spoof, as well as perform filtering and routing of network and transportlayer packets securely.Item Explorando o sentimento no twitter sobre a implementação do ensino virtual no Brasil em face da covid-19 .(2022-05-27) Leite, Felipe Antonio Alves; Belo, Ítalo César de Souza; Oliveira, Marcelo Iury de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2328386382232459; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3240928244006916; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2530370455196055The high risk of COVID-19 contamination made several countries take social distancing and isolation measures. As a result of these policies, virtual education was the alternative chosen by many schools and higher education institutions to continue their classes. However, that situation, COVID-19-induced, raised some questions about the adequacy of virtual learning concerning students' and teachers' expectations. This work conducted a study of sentiment analysis in Twitter messages to understand the feeling of Brazilian users (teachers and students) about the first months of virtual education in Brazil during a COVID-19 pandemic. Also, it was sought to identify the factors responsible for certain feelings and the consequences of virtual teaching at the beginning of the pandemic. In order to achieve these objectives, sentiment analysis was performed using an ensemble and the Active Learning technique to ensure better accuracy in the classification of the data and, consequently, have an understanding of the current scenario. When analyzing the data, the rejection of teachers and students concerning virtual education during the pandemic was noticeable. It is essential to highlight that factors responsible for this rejection were identified, such as excessive activities, mental exhaustion, and procrastination. In addition, it was found that the adoption of emergency remote teaching had consequences such as anxiety crises, emotional stress, low self-esteem, sleep deprivation, and depression.
