The Mandatory Supervised Internship (ESO), an integral part of the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), has a workload of 420 hours and is aimed at the professional qualification of students in the final period. The work was divided into two chapters, with Chapter 1 describing the ESO location and the activities performed, while Chapter 2 is a literature review entitled “Interpersonal relationship between the Veterinarian in charge of technical matters and employees in a supermarket warehouse”. With the growth in demand for products of animal origin, both in wholesale and retail trade, whether for industrialized or “in natura” products, the importance of ensuring quality control at all stages of the production chain is increasingly recognized. To make this happen, supermarkets hire Veterinarians to assume the position of Technical Manager of the establishment, as this professional is the best suited to evaluate and decide whether products of animal origin are suitable for human consumption, ensuring food safety and public health. The objective of this report was to describe the activities developed in the quality department of a supermarket chain, based mainly on Good Manufacturing Practices. Hygiene and sanitary procedures must be applied to personal hygiene, the work environment, utensils, equipment, product handling and throughout the production chain, in order to avoid any contamination and ensure that the food is safe and does not cause harm to the health of the consumer. In this context, the veterinarian plays a crucial role in managing the employees of the establishments. In addition to their technical knowledge, they need to apply interpersonal skills to promote a good organizational environment, ensuring that the activities are carried out appropriately and effectively. This not only contributes to the safety and quality of the products, but also helps to increase sales and the success of the organization. It can therefore be concluded that mental health, interpersonal relationships, the organizational climate and people management in a company are crucial to the results achieved and the guarantee of safe food.

Studies and reports state that university students are a population with a high prevalence of depression, anxiety and high levels of stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. This fact has sparked growing interest in possible relationships between academic experiences and mental health. In this context, the main objective of this research was to investigate the impacts caused on the mental health of Physical Education students at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) caused by emergency remote teaching ERE, as well as the facilitating and hindering aspects of the new method of teaching, the negative and positive impacts of remote classes associated with the learning process and the consequences caused to students' mental health. The research had a qualitative-quantitative approach and was constructed through bibliographic and exploratory research. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered online. The results obtained were a total of 36 responses and the participants were undergraduates who were between the fourth and eighth semester, deprioritized and graduated (completed). This research contributes to the investigation of the aspects and impacts of ERE that were relevant in the graduation of students from the Physical Education course at UFRPE. The results demonstrate a statistically significant negative impact on factors associated with mental health, academic achievement and the impacts of emergency remote teaching on academic experiences during the pandemic. Finally, the need for studies on the topic to be expanded seems clear, not only in relation to carrying out new searches in other virtual libraries, aiming to expand and enrich the results, with the aim of analyzing students' mental health knowledge post-pandemic through scientific productions, as well as field research to obtain a better understanding of the object of study in question.

(2019-12-16) Silva, Lucas de Lima Gonçalves da; Brito, Paulo Afonso Barbosa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0891943804378064; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3769075927101151
Havin in sight the alarming number of young students from Recife nowadays with psychic problems, like depression, anxiety, Burnout syndrome etc. The present work aims to analyze if it’s possible to estabilish a direct relationship between the socialization made by the education with the increanse in the rate of psychic disorders of this population. Does the current educational model exert neuronal violence in young people? If so, in what ways this violence is exercised? And what are the consequences of this violence? To verify the truth of the thesis and answer these questions, a field research was made using questionnaires and interviews with students and former students with the purpose of collecting data to be analyzed and support a theoretical discussion capable of verifying this thesis. It is concluded that it’s possible to estabilish a relationship between education and the population’s psychic illness insofar as it internalizes values and routines that throws the individual in a life full of neuronal violences that contribute to the formation of psychic problems.

(2024-03-08) Oliveira, Lucicleide Eliete Pereira de; Siqueira, Amanda de Morais Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0925121801904264
The word "confectionery" derives from the Latin verb "conficere," related to food preparation. Besides being an ancient practice, confectionery is recognized as a form of occupational therapy, with contemporary studies exploring its relationship with psychological well-being. Mental health, defined as emotional balance and the ability to cope with challenges, is influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors. This work aims to describe the main emotional perceptions reported by the practice of confectionery and analyze personal accounts of the possible emotional effects on confectionery experiences at different production stages. The results of the research on confectionery and mental health, conducted with 103 individuals who answered questions about the psychological effects that making sweet preparations had on their mental health. The sample consisted of valid participants (n=78). The majority of participants (87.2%) reported feeling some positive effect. Participants highlighted several reasons for this, including learning and enjoyment in the product, moments of focus and concentration, therapy and artistic expression, stress relief and fulfillment, positive social effects, female empowerment, and other therapeutic reasons. 88.5% of participants reported an improvement in their mental health through confectionery, 89.4% indicate that this activity can be an effective form of creative therapy; 93.2% of stress and anxiety reduction, and 83.3% reported positive experiences sharing their creations with friends, family, or online communities. Despite the promising results of this research, further investigations are still needed to corroborate and deepen our understanding of the relationship between confectionery and mental health. Additional studies could explore different aspects of this connection, such as the long-term effects of confectionery practice on mental health, the effectiveness of specific confectionery interventions for treating psychological conditions, and the influence of contextual factors, such as the work or social environment, on individuals' experiences.

Recomendação de psicólogos por meio de algoritmos de filtragem colaborativa, conteúdo e híbrida
(2023-09-14) Gomes Júnior, Augusto Rosário; Bocanegra, Silvana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4596111202208863
There is a rising number of people diagnosed with mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, disorders that have been long neglected by science and society. Even so, more and more advances are being made in the ways of treating these people, such as platforms that offer psychological care remotely. However, choosing a psychologist or therapist is not always an easy task, given the large amount of information involved in the choosing process. Based on that, the goal of this article was to develop a psychologist recommender system based on a hybrid model, which should be able to recommend psychologists with expertise that meet the needs of different types of patients. The model showed promising results, where the similarity between the recommended psychologists was consistent and good results were achieved in the evaluation metrics MAE (<0.5) and RMSE (<0.75). It was also possible to mitigate weaknesses from both content and collaborative recommendations.

This research aims, in general, to understand the importance of socio-emotional care in the student's lives of the Degree Course in Pedagogy at the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), considering the case of the Núcleo do Cuidado Humano (NCH) from that same university. We base our research on theories of human care; on socio-emotional education; on Brazilian higher education, based on the main authors: Ferreira (2021), Goleman (2010), Pires (2016), Cruz (2015), Caixeta (2011), like the official documents of the NCH, of the Pedagogy course and the Ministry of Education. It is a qualitativebased investigation, using the case study method, with data construction techniques that took place in three ways: (a) exploratory observation; (b) questionnaire and (c) semistructured interviews. The locus of investigation took place in the virtual space, where we had access to documentary material and to some data and contacts with part of the research interlocutors. Our research subjects were undergraduate students in Pedagogy at UFRPE; professors of the aforementioned degree and the former dean of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, at the time when the Human Care Nucleus was established at UFRPE. After the results, we came to some points of reflection: (a) the students participating in the research said they felt tired, mental exhaustion, stress and wanted a more careful university environment that is concerned with the emotional health of the academic community. At the same time, we have seen that, since 2018, when the NCH was created, UFRPE has made an effort to make the University a space for preventing psychic suffering and promoting mental health, considering your community.

(2019-12-03) Carvalho, Isabela Vieira de; Silva, Flávia Carolina Lins da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7547725170997480; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6131401598981466
Many studies on the mental health of college students are conducted due to the overloaded system of education they are exposed to. However, there is a gap in the academy about these parameters in basic education, especially when it is an unconventional institution such as federal institutes that have a modality of education that integrates high school with the technical subjecting students to an equal or even more reality. overloaded than that of universities. With this, the present work aimed to make a diagnosis about the mental health and well-being of the students of the initial modules for probing parameters such as sleep and eating, and the exposure to the triggers of stress and anxiety, contributing data of this theme to the gym and proposing pedagogical intervention proposals for these issues. The study revealed that more than 60% of the study population claimed to encounter triggers of extreme stress and depression, in addition to falling sleep and food quality by more than 20% after joining IFPE-Campus Recife. In addition, the applied questionnaire helped to trace the institution's positive and negative points so that intervention proposals could be customized to fit the reality of the campus.

(2021-03-05) França, Cibelle do Nascimento; Gama, Ywanoska Maria Santos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1398858336713229; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7159830181062740
This study sought to understand what changes related to mental health are pointed out by students of the initial periods of the Degree Course in Pedagogy (face-to-face modality) at the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). The 19 participating students answered a questionnaire made available in the Google Forms platform, and disseminated through the social network used by the investigated course, personal and collective e-mail of the classes. The main results pointed to mood swings and disproportionate reactions to academic difficulties as recurring symptoms. Another relevant aspect raised is related to the family and friends network, acting as a protective system. These results point to the importance of deepening this theme, making it the object of reflection in universities, favoring the improvement of policies and services of psychological support to students, and a better dissemination of existing services, aiming at the prevention and promotion of mental health in the academic environment.
