Item Letramento matemático na eja: contribuições das tarefas exploratórias para desenvolver o pensamento crítico(2025-02-20) Silva, Gemeson Gama da; Rodrigues, Cleide Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2951731416008876; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5459932851917022Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a inserção de atividades matemáticas no projeto Letralidade, vinculado à Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), que visa promover a alfabetização e o letramento de pessoas com mais de 60 anos. Observou-se, no decorrer do projeto, o interesse dos participantes em atividades relacionadas à matemática, o que motivou a articulação entre os conceitos da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), Educação Matemática Crítica e Letramento Matemático. A pesquisa fundamenta-se nos conteúdos abordados na disciplina de Estágio Supervisionado IV da UFRPE e na elaboração de uma tarefa exploratória voltada ao letramento matemático e ao desenvolvimento do pensamento matemático crítico. A proposta buscou estabelecer conexões entre o ensino da matemática e o cotidiano dos alunos, promovendo a cidadania e estimulando a reflexão crítica sobre questões práticas da realidade dos participantes. Dessa forma, o estudo investiga a relevância das tarefas exploratórias no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da matemática, enfatizando seu potencial para fomentar a autonomia dos alunos e ampliar sua capacidade de análise crítica e tomada de decisões informadas. Espera-se que os resultados obtidos contribuam para a valorização do uso da matemática em contextos cotidianos e evidenciam o papel das tarefas exploratórias na construção de um conhecimento matemático contextualizado e significativo. Além disso, busca-se fomentar a capacidade dos alunos de analisar criticamente a realidade por meio da matemática, permitindo-lhes interpretar dados, questionar informações e tomar decisões fundamentadas.Item Análise de compreensões de estudantes no contexto de uma intervenção didática fundamentada em pressupostos freirianos para o ensino de termoquímica(2023-09-11) Souza, Nívea Galdino de; Firme, Ruth do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7234636790850019; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2969100250409863In the middle of the 21st century, there is an increasing search for a more inclusive, emancipatory and relevant education for students and their communities. It is with this perspective that the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Freirean perspective were adopted in this study. Freire's views on education are inspiring, motivational and challenging. In this perspective, this study aims to analyze students' understandings in the context of a didactic intervention based on Freire's assumptions for the teaching of Thermochemistry, this objective being detailed in three specific objectives: to identify students' previous conceptions about thermochemical concepts and related issues with fires; analyze changes in students' understanding of thermochemical concepts and fire-related issues; and to evaluate the students' perceptions about the didactic intervention experienced by them. As for the methodological aspects, this study was qualitative, developed in a private school located in the municipality of Vitória de Santo Antão, with the participation of 37 students and was conducted through five methodological steps, namely: study of the assumptions of pedagogy freiriana (first stage); elaboration of the didactic intervention (second stage); application of didactic intervention (third stage); data organization (fourth step); data analysis (fifth stage). As for the students' previous conceptions about thermochemical concepts and about questions related to fires, the analyzes showed previous misconceptions, incomplete and/or coherent from the scientific point of view, such as, for example, understandings of chemical reaction as mixtures and understandings that consider that fires cannot occur spontaneously. Regarding the evolutions in students' understanding of thermochemical concepts and issues related to fires, the analyzes bring evidence, for example, of understandings of the occurrence of fires due to the reaction between oxygen and fuel to release energy in the form of heat and understandings of the concept of heat as energy in motion. That is, these results are evidence that students have evolved in their understanding of the occurrence of fires and the concept of heat. And regarding the students' evaluation of the didactic intervention based on Freire's assumptions developed with them, the evidence identified in the analyzes was related to the didactic intervention being nontiring, dynamic, fun, with the potential for things to make sense, for participation of students, to learn Chemistry from real situations.Item Os fundamentos didático-metodológicos do jogo no atual currículo de Pernambuco no ensino fundamental(2022-10-10) Silva Filho, Fernando Hercílio da; Silva, Eduardo Jorge Souza da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5214370124132694; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7786166947403990The Pernambuco Curriculum is the document that currently guides the educational policy and pedagogical work of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education in schools throughout the State. The document has in its structure the notion of general competences that must be observed in teaching, and also describes the thematic units, their knowledge objectives and the skills that will be developed, separated by disciplines, including Physical Education. The curriculum in education is a document of great importance, as it follows as a guide, a guide for teachers in the day to day of their school activity. Therefore, it is possible to say that it has an impact on students' learning, making it possible to understand what the school wants to be taught and what pedagogical reflection to be carried out by teachers. Due to its great relevance, several issues need to be observed in the realization of the curriculum, which is not an easy task, let alone a quick one. The Pernambuco Elementary School curriculum in the field of physical education, lost a lot in quality when it chose not to show a Critical-Overcoming approach in its principles, leaving aside the idea that the object of the curriculum is the student's reflection. Faced with the society we live in, where the social difference is of immense disparity, and showing that the curriculum here is a reference aimed at public schools, where the public is at a greater disadvantage within a social framework, not to think of a policy that be liberating, is putting these students at the mercy of this reality, without any prospect of improvement and without knowing how to fight their situation. And this is the role of the school: it is necessary to form students with critical minds, as subjects in a process of emancipation, forming citizens for a prosperous future, a more egalitarian future.Item Concepções de dirigentes de Cátedras Paulo Freire situadas nas regiões Nordeste, Norte e Sul sobre a educação ambiental nesses espaços formativos(2019-12-11) Melo, Rayanne Fernanda da Costa; Araújo, Monica Lopes Folena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7902118982606429; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9482894229025547Environmental education (EE) can be used as a tool for individuals to develop sustainable skills and attitudes through critical awareness. This requires moving away from traditional banking education and moving towards emancipatory education. These precepts are part of Freire's pedagogy. In view of the approximation of EE with Freire's thoughts and methodology, it is important to understand the conceptions of the leaders of Paulo Freire Chairs on EE in these formative spaces. To achieve this general objective we resorted to the use of interviews that were transcribed and analyzed in the light of content analysis. The results allow us to infer that in the conception of the leaders, the EA is directly related to Freire's ideas, and it is not possible to dissociate the social from the environmental. EA, emphasizing its influence on the works developed in these spaces. Who occupies, and how possible gaps are occupied, left by the absence of PE teachers in these places. For this purpose, bibliographical and documentary researches were carried out, as well as content analysis. To this end, we define our research problem as: What is the importance of PE, for students in the initial grades of elementary education in publications in the area, based on what the Critical Historical Pedagogic - PHC advocates for the social function of schools and PE in schools? Of the municipality of Recife? And to answer it, the following general objective: to identify the importance of PE, for students in the initial grades of elementary education in publications in the area, based on what the PHC advocates for the social function of the school and PE, in schools in the municipality from Recife. And two specific ones: a) exposing from the PHC the social function of the school and the PE, and b) analyzing the legal / historical milestones of education, notably the PE, both in the municipal schools of Recife.
