Sawmills are commonly classified based on their daily production, that is, their yield, categorizing them into small, medium, and large scale. Various factors influence this yield, and in the absence of proper control or monitoring, there is a tendency for production losses. As an alternative, sawmill automation emerges as a viable solution, especially through the utilization of information technology. This involves implementing optimization systems for cutting calculations, which can be developed using progxanumng languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In this context, the aim of this work was to develop software for optimizing the sawing of wood logs to achieve maximum volume and yield in wood utilization. In developing the mathematical models used to estimate the volume and maximum yield of sawn wood from a log, as well as the corresponding software, four predefined scenarios commonly used in sawmills were considered. In each of these scenarios, calculations were manually performed using the same values employed in the program tests, with the goal of verifying the software's proper functioning in each established scenario. Subsequently, following the calculation methodology, software was developed to optimize the process of converting wood logs into mechanically processed pieces. This software was built using programming languages JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. HTML was used to structure the website. while CSS was responsible for the design, colors, shadows, size, and positioning of elements. JavaScript was responsible for the software's source code, that is, the program's interactivity, including input requests, variable creation, internal calculations, interactions, interactive menus, animations, and validations. By combining these three languages, it became feasible to automate the data acquisition process following the same empirical reasoning, based on equations. However, in this case, with an approach carried out through the creation of codes and commands using programming languages. This enables achieving the desired result, maximizing log utilization according to the scenario, demonstrating its effective applicability in the market.Item Ações para diminuição do número de cancelamentos de uma empresa do setor fitness (ESF)(2024-02-08) Macena, Jean Karlos Clemente de; Monteiro, Cleviton Vinicius Fonsêca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9362573782715504; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1965699603282309Item Desenvolvimento de um sistema com dispositivo portátil para auxílio no diagnóstico de coarctação da artéria aorta em neonatos(2018-08-16) Amorim, Jéssyca Karolinny da Silva; Barros, Abner Corrêa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3825998752196688; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4499057406814333In recent years, advances in technology have brought unquestionable benefits to human life. Especially in the medical field, where some techniques and tests that were considered technically and economically unviable, have become usual. However, in some cases, the actual technology has not been sufficient to provide an early diagnosis of congenital diseases. it happens with Congenital Heart Disease (CC), with the most common CC being the Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA). Currently, available diagnostic methods are ineffective, leading to late diagnosis, which can lead to cardiac collapse, neurological damage, and death. In this way, the present work aims to propose an alternative to the development of a computational system that captures, by a low cost and mobile embedded device, and evaluate the photoplethysmographic (PPG) tags of neonates in order to aid in the identification and in diagnosis of CoA.Item Desenvolvimento de um plug-in para a replicação de dados entre os sistemas NetBox e ServiceNow CMDB(2023-05-03) Silva Júnior, Manassés Júlio da; Gouveia, Roberta Macêdo Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2024317361355224This work presents a new plugin developed to integrate the open source network configuration software NetBox with the ServiceNow CMDB. This plugin extends the functionality of NetBox, allowing users to send NetBox data to the ServiceNow API. NetBox is an open source web application that helps manage and document computer networks. It acts as a centralized repository for network infrastructure information, including device inventory, IP address management, cable management, and power management. On the other hand, the ServiceNow CMDB is a central repository that contains information about all assets and configuration items in an organization's IT infrastructure. The integration between these platforms is achieved through the creation of plugins that extend the functionality of NetBox, allowing it to work together with the ServiceNow CMDB. The project uses Python as the main language, the Django web framework, and Docker to create the development environment. Overall, this project provides a powerful and flexible tool for network administrators and operators to manage their network infrastructure. The plugin architecture follows the Django MTV (Model-View-Template) architecture, where the Model represents the data and database schema, the View handles requests and responses, and the Template generates the HTML output. The main functionality of the project is the automatic replication of Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) modifications in selected objects from NetBox to the ServiceNow CMDB, done through the ServiceNow API. This automatic replication feature uses Webhooks to monitor object modifications, and the plugin automatically handles the creation and deletion of Webhooks. Other features include manual batch and simulation for replicating data to the CMDB. The visual interface of the plugin is simple and focused on its functionalities.Item Transformação digital: eliminação do uso de papel em organizações através da integração de sistemas de BPM, gestão de processos eletrônicos e gerenciamento de recursos humanos(2022-10-13) Barros, Gutenberg Duarte Neves de; Vilar, Guilherme; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4618755191948983; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6466753248629314Item Construção de guidelines para tornar um e-commerce acessível para pessoas com deficiência visual(2022-10-10) Sá, Stefany Vasconcelos de; Monteiro, Cleviton Vinicius Fonsêca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9362573782715504; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8325303764845484The emergence of e-commerce has changed the way people shop and as a result there has been a significant increase in the number of online stores. A recent study published by Accenture showed that people with disabilities have purchasing power and feel like shopping, and linked to their limitations, online stores are shown to be a great option to make their purchases without having to leave their homes. House. The problem arises when these online stores are not prepared enough to meet the needs of people with disabilities, specifically visual impairment, and as a result of this unpreparedness, this target audience is marginalized, a fact that violates the basic rights of these individuals. Using the knowledge acquired through a study Based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and internet accessibility standards, it was possible to build some artifacts that served as guides for decision-making and implementation standards. In this guideline are present techniques of software development and inclusive design.Item Desenvolvimento de software para dimensionamento automático de painéis fotovoltaicos aplicados a sistemas IoT com restrição energética(2022-10-17) Maia, Bruno Lins; Medeiros, Victor Wanderley Costa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7159595141911505; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4677794271430249The growth of the IoT (Internet of Things) systems market has generated a growing demand for resources to power these devices. Many of them are used in applications and regions where access to electrical energy is restricted. One alternative to this challenge is using solar energy, which is widely available, especially in Brazil, due to its favorable geographic location. Given this scenario, this work proposes the study and implementation of a software tool capable of providing technical specifications of a photovoltaic system aimed at embedded devices with energy restrictions.Item Impacto da latência na verificação e do atraso acentuado na rotulação para detecção de falhas de software(2023-04-25) Sgotti, Lucas Cordeiro; Cabral, George Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8227256452129177; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6243434551046357Software Defect Prediction is an activity inherent to software development and it requires a high amount of human effort. This activity is often not prioritized in order toreduce the project's expenses. Just-in-Time Software Defect Prediction (JIT-SDP) is one of the approaches used for predicting software defects in order to automatically identify, through machine learning methods, software artifacts likely to contain defects based on historical data. However, most approaches assume that the characteristics of the problem remain the same over time, but the imbalance between classes is a problem that evolves over time as new training examples arrive, for example. Analyzing the problem in an online environment means that, among other things, there is an intrinsic chronological aspect to be considered which, in turn, brings with it some issues, among them verification latency, which refers to the fact that training example labels can arrive much later than their characteristics. This work aims to investigate the impact of verification latency on the problem of detecting defects in software, as well as the performance of these methods according to the degree of verification latency in examples of the defect inducing class.
