    Cinema is one of the most popular forms of entertainment today, and it continues to grow. Since its popularization at the beginning of the 20th century, cinema has proved to be a cultural activity of great commercial value. Since its popularization in the early 20th century, cinema has proved to be a cultural activity of great commercial value, due, among other factors, to its easy reproduction, a convenience that has only increased with the digital age. But due to processes that began in Brazil in the 1960s, there was a concentration of cinemas in shopping malls, which can bring a certain convenience by combining spaces for socializing, leisure and consumption, but it also imposes limitations and acts as a segregating agent. This study aims to understand what leads consumers in Recife to choose which movie theater to go to, using questionnaires applied online via google forms and interviews applied in person at movie theaters in Recife, as a way of collecting data, and carrying out a bibliographic survey based on online repositories and personal collections.

    This work aims to study the preferences of book consumers in relation to the digital book format, taking into account the differences in the physical book format and characteristics involved in reading habits. The methodology is qualitative in the first moment and quantitative in the second moment, through the methodological formula of interview, in the application of questionnaires in groups of books and readings on social networks. In this way, it was possible to investigate consumer preferences in relation to the digital book and how it impacts their decision-making when purchasing a book.

    The growing number of Japanese food restaurants in the northern part of the city of Recife, the breaking of paradigms regarding the taste of this gastronomic specificity, as well as its relationship with the consumption and eating habits of diners justifies the elaboration of this work, which aims to study the fads and food adaptations present in the habits of the population, related to the consumption of Japanese food, whether they really appreciate it or whether theyare influenced by marketing and culinary fads. In order to carry out data collection, the questionnaire was used, in addition to unsystematic and non-participant personal observation, based on these analyzes and for categorizing the data, graphs and tables were elaborated that enabled the results and discussions to be made feasible. . It was noted that there is a total adaptation of taste by Japanese food consumers and that there are also other factors that are associated with this frequency in restaurants. Another fact to be highlighted is the total possibility of the presence of a Home Economics professional working in the studied markets, with broad and active training in this area of research.
