Item Análise dos acidentes de trabalho no setor da construção no Brasil - 2010 a 2019(2024-02-27) Lima, Victor Hugo Silva de; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2650245925207872The construction sector is one of the segments that records the highest number of work accidents in Brazil. Accidents in this industry are characterized by being more serious and fatal, leading to permanent disabilities and worker fatalities. These events have a high cost for both the companies involved and for society. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to carry out an analysis of the costs of work accidents and their economic implications in the construction sector, emphasizing the relevance of implementing preventive measures of occupational safety in the sector. For this, information provided by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), Ministry of Social Security (MPS) and the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC) was collected, considering the period from 2010 to 2019, carrying out a descriptive analysis of these data and estimating the costs of accidents for the construction sector. In the examined period, there were 382,685 work accidents in the Construction sector, involving workers insured by Social Security. From the analysis of the data, it was observed that these accidents are of typical nature, presenting a drastic decline in the indicator of total work incidence in 2013 to 2015, however with the proportional accident rate in the age group of 16 to 34 unstable, sometimes increasing, sometimes decreasing. Regarding the lethality of accidents, growths were verified throughout the series and above the national rate, but the mortality indicator declining over time. Considering the expenses with accidents, the accident benefits granted by INSS totaled approximately 4.2 billion reais, with an annual average of 423 million reais. Already in the private sector, the private costs of work accidents were estimated at 2.1 billion reais, equivalent to an annual average of 212 million reais. The charges from work accidents to companies represent only a fraction of the total costs imposed on society. In this context, there is room for more comprehensive interventions by public authorities such as inspections, implementation of legislation, informative safety campaigns, among other actions, aiming to reduce the occurrence of work accidents and their repercussions. It is worth noting that these data only include work accidents involving formal workers with registration in INSS, disregarding the informal side and possible underreporting, which leads to the belief that the number of accidents may be greater than those disclosed by Social Security.Item Programas de Educação Ambiental em Planos Básicos Ambientais em Pernambuco(2023-09-15) Brito, Thalyta Souza; Meunier, Isabelle Maria Jacqueline; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9202793669201466; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7962443506502096This work aimed to describe and characterize the Environmental Education Programs (EEP) that are part of the Basic Environmental Plans (BEP) of environmental studies presented in licensing processes related to undertakings and civil construction works in Pernambuco. The electronic portal of the State Agency for the Environment - SAE provides access to projects, from which the study reports containing the Basic Environmental Plans (BEP) proposed in the period from 2011 to 2021 were selected. civil construction, with special attention to proposals for Environmental Education Programs (EEP). In the analyzed period, there are one hundred and fifty-one processes presented on the SEA website, but only civil construction projects that required an Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Impact Report were developed. A matrix with indicators related to execution and performance was developed for the analysis of EEP proposals. It was identified that most of the projects, which presented at least regular quality, were beneficial for water resources. A portion of 73%, of a total of twenty-six projects developed by the enterprises, presented EEP in their planning. When they exist, the actions of the EEP related to works and civil construction projects in Pernambuco were considered generic and with few contributions to the local community.Item Os objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável da agenda 2030 da ONU na gestão dos resíduos da construção civil em Igarassu–PE(2019) Silva Júnior, Edvaldo Alves da; Andrade, Fábio Bezerra de; Araújo, Rebeca Allana de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1276015724304288; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9407924493644881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7560710806611237This work aims to analyze the application of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the solid waste disposal chain, specifically the construction waste in the municipality of Igarassu/PE. The research also aims to understand how the process of disposing of common waste and the construction waste is given, to make an analysis of the municipal and federal environmental legislations, linking the SDG and mapping the solid waste chain to its final disposition in the landfill in Igarassu. In this way, the concepts worked are the sustainable development, sustainability, environmental rationality, economic rationality and world-system. Regarding the method, we adopted the perspective of qualitative research, through a case study that used as data collection the simple observation, bibliographical readings of data generated by secondary sources and semi-structured interviews, with the involved in the waste disposal chain the main subjects. As a final result of the research, it was observed that the sustainable development in the city occurs insufficiently and that this is a reflex of the agenda that does not understand and does not meet the need of the site, but rather theglobal.
