Item Análise bibliométrica da produção científica sobre palma forrageira na base de dados Web of Science(2021-07-09) Barros, Eveline Maria de; Cunha, Márcio Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8936474723708253; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9746268668354240Bibliometrics is an area of study in librarianship and science and technology dedicated to collecting, analyzing and evaluating the quantitative aspects related to the production and dissemination of information published in the media. Indicators from bibliometric studies can be useful for the planning and execution of public policies, in addition to being a means of finding out which are the most recurrent studies in a given area of knowledge and as a source of new themes for future projects. The objective of this work is to study the scientific production on forage cactus in the Web of Science (WoS) database. The forage cactus was chosen as the theme because of its importance for arid and semi-arid regions, emphasizing its relevance in the Brazilian Northeast. The data were obtained using the terms "Opuntia" and "forage" as search criteria, where data from 285 articles in the period 1945 to 2020 were analyzed. Aspects such as the amount of annual publication, authors who produce the most on the topic, were considered. more relevant funding agencies, more productive educational and research institutions, more recurrent publishing sources, countries that are more productive, most used languages and keywords. Through bibliometric analysis on scientific production in the Web of Science database, it was possible to identify productivity trends on forage cactus. The publication range found was from 1991 to 2020, with significant growth from 2006 and peaking in 2020. Most research institutions, funding and journals were Brazilian, US or Mexican, which indicates that they are the countries that most do and invest in research with forage cactus. Most of the most productive authors are linked to a Brazilian teaching and research institution, corroborating the production of research institutions and countries as a whole. The most recurrent themes are directly linked to previously determined search terms and the themes of the most current articles are related to the environment. Through these results, the researcher will be able to have a basis to make decisions regarding the best options according to their criteria, whether they are related to publication sources, research institutions, language to be used, among others.Item Análise bibliométrica da produção científica sobre sistemas silvipastoris na base de dados Web of Science(2021-07-09) Carvalho, Robson Oliveira de; Cunha, Márcio Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8936474723708253Bibliometric analyzes arise in response to the large amount of information generated by scientific production activities in a specific area of knowledge and the need to store, categorize, quantify and qualify such a large volume of information. Silvopastoral systems are integrated systems that seek to benefit from the relationship between animals, pasture and the use of tree species within the agricultural production system. With numerous benefits, this system alleviates one of the main problems of pastures, the degradation caused by several factors. Over the years, there has been an increase in the interest of the academic and scientific community regarding silvopastoral systems, generating more and more research and articles on the subject and promoting the technological development of the practice. Therefore, the objective of this work was to analyze the scientific production on silvopastoral systems in the last 30 years through bibliometric indicators in the Web of Science database. It was observed that Brazil (2nd place), together with the USA (1st place), stands out in the publication on the subject. Most of the work was carried out by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) and financed by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The authors who produced the most scientific articles on the subject are affiliated with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in Spain, namely Rodrigues, A. R. (27 articles) and Losada, M. R. M. (26 articles). Regarding journals, more than 28% of the articles were published in Agroforestry Systems. The main keywords used in the articles were agroforestry, silvopasture and shading. The most present species and genera within the evaluated works were Brachiaria brizantha, Leucaena, Eucalyptus and Pinus radiata, and the animals were cattle and sheep. Bibliometric studies play an important socioeconomic role in determining the trends and directions of the desired area of knowledge within the scope of scientific research, benefiting decision-making by governments and research/financing agencies. When applied to the topic of Silvipastoral Systems, these studies allow determining a timeline, observing the growing interest of researchers in the topic, especially between 2017 and 2020.Item Análise das condições da comercialização de crustáceos e moluscos nos principais mercados públicos do Recife(2025-02-27) Silva, Lucas Felix da; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086The sale of crustaceans and molluscs in Recife's public markets plays a fundamental role in the local economy, especially considering the city's strategic position as one of the main fishing centers in northeastern Brazil. These products are widely consumed by the population and, in addition to their gastronomic importance, represent a significant source of income for fishermen and traders in the region. However, the sale of these foods in public markets faces specific challenges related to the preservation of quality and food safety, requiring some special attention to handling practices and hygienic conditions. The lack of hygienic standardization, infrastructure and supervision in these markets can cause several problems for consumers. Therefore, this work aims to observe and analyze the conditions of fish marketing, mainly crustaceans and molluscs in the main public markets in Recife.Item Análise das condições de comercialização de crustáceos e moluscos de mercados públicos e supermercados da cidade do Recife(2022-10-06) Cavalcanti Neto, José Bezerra; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1168297384174902At the Metropolitan Region of Recife the commercialization of molluscs and crustaceans is quite frequent and it is concentrated at supermarkets, smal markets and public fairs. This work intends to acssess the hygienic-sanitary conditions and price progression of those establishments. Unscheduled visits were made in ten different locations during the months of July and September in order to collect informations. Among those visited, seven of them were within the requirements established by the legislation, but three made several mistakes regarding sanitary conditions, being two of them being totally careless in relation to the involved high hygiene practices, presenting food without refrigeration, with foreign matter inside the packaging, product deformed colours, and presence of odors that denoted the deterioration of the food sold. At the establishments that were in accordance with what the standards recommend, there has a greater volume of products offered and a greater security of finding the necessary quality to guarantee health and people's well-being. Regarding prices, most products did not change during the survey period, except for one that had an increase of 14%.Item Análise das condições de comercialização de peixes de mercados públicos e supermercados na Região Metropolitana do Recife(2022-10-06) Andrade, Bárbara Poliana Ramos de; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9881569348491890The growth of the human population has led to the search for productive maximization in several food production chains. Among the proteins of animal origin fish have excellent biological value and are easily digested by the human body. On the other hand fish have biochemical characteristics that facilitate their colonization by microorganisms with pathogenic potential, thus making it necessary to adopt measures to combat the spread of Foodborne Diseases (DTA's). Seeking to verify the conditions of commercialization of fish in establishments at Metropolitan Region of Recife unscheduled visits were made between the months of July and September 2022, at 11 different market places. There, were carried out observing the practices related to the handling, storage and progression of fish. fish prices as well as the sanitary conditions of the environment where they were marketed. The places that were classified as fairs or public markets had the worst sanitary conditions, having several products with clear signs of deterioration, in addition to inappropriate environments for food handling. The establishments that were supermarkets met the legal requirements for the commercialization of fish, except in specific situations.Item Análise de condições de comercialização de peixes nos principais mercados públicos de Recife(2025-02-27) Silva, Gabriella Sá Lucena da; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086In the global context, fish are a crucial source of animal protein for millions of people, with the fishing industry playing a significant role in the economies of various countries, especially in coastal regions. However, global fish production faces challenges such as overfishing, environmental degradation, and the need for sustainable practices. In Brazil, fishing is also a highly relevant activity, with emphasis on the North and Northeast regions, which have vast coastal areas and a rich diversity of marine and freshwater species. The country ranks as one of the largest fish producers in the world, with Brazil being a major exporter of fish products, in addition to meeting the growing domestic demand. However, challenges related to the management of fishery resources, sustainability, and product quality still need to be improved. Recife fits into this context, with a significant fishing economy, both for internal consumption and for the trade of fresh and frozen fish. The Cais de Santa Rita and other local public markets play essential roles in the distribution and sale of these products. However, the city faces structural and operational difficulties regarding the handling and preservation of fish, which directly affects the quality of the products sold and, consequently, public health. This study aims to gather information from the main public markets in Recife and analyze which areas need improvement in the sale of these fish.Item Análise do comportamento de compra de rações dos proprietários de cães da Zona Norte do Recife-PE(2018-08-15) Ribeiro, Lucas Sales; Soares, Luciana Felizardo Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4071178363761831; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5997449933103860The Pet Food segment is what most represents the pet market in Brazil, providing consumers with a wide variety of brands and types of feed. The objective of this research was to identify which aspects are important in the choice of ration and to analyze the capacity of interpretation of the labels of these products. Sixty people were interviewed, all of them aged 18 years old and owning at least 1 (one) dog. If the traditional uruçu bee breeders in Bonito-Pernambuco, most of them have a breeding system with a low technological level, making it necessary to take actions that lead them to perceive themselves as true guardians of this biodiversity, in order to conserve this genetic resource in a sustainable way. continued with self-sustainable management.Item Análise dos fatores envolvidos na seleção e compra de cães na região do Nordeste(2024-02-27) Palmeira, Thais Silva; Souza, Lilian Francisco Arantes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6015344715032401; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7160016807072874From working animals to everyday companions, canines have undergone several genetic manipulations that have resulted in the creation of new breeds of dogs that we know today. Some of these modifications caused genetic mutations, which triggered physiological changes, which resulted in a series of diseases that continue to this day. The objective of this work was to identify the motivations involved in the selection of the breed and the knowledge of owners in relation to genetic diseases associated with dogs in the Northeast region. The research was approved by CAPI (protocol 5621) and CEP/UNOESTE (protocol on Plataforma Brasil number 16596719.2.00005515). It is carried out through a semi-structured questionnaire, prepared with questions associated with the dog owner's profile, identification of the breeds and the criteria used by the owners, knowledge about genetic problems and the identification of external factors for the acquisition of these animals. The questionnaire was applied through the online platform Google forms, through groups of dog breeds present on social networks in the Northeast region. The information was subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, percentage and absolute frequency. It was observed that 80% of the respondents were women, aged 31 to 41, with higher education and from an upper class. A great diversity of breeds was observed, with a predominance of Toy and non-sports groups of small and medium size, the majority with pedigree. The main motivation for purchasing a purebred dog was companionship and the purchase occurred voluntarily. With 84.62% of owners having prior knowledge about genetic diseases associated with breeds and 87.91% seeking to acquire dogs from kennels with good provenance. It was possible to conclude that owners of purebred dogs living in the Northeast region mainly seek company, being aware of the genetic etiology, origin and provenance of the puppy.Item Análise histomorfométrica do epitélio ruminal de caprinos alimentados com palma forrageira(2018-08-23) Nascimento, Andreza Guedes de Oliveira; Batista, Ângela Maria Vieira; Silva, Tomás Guilherme Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3632014794052859; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1209459577975499; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1231614424586412The objective of this study was to measure histomorphometric variables of the ruminal epithelium of goats fed forage palm (total epithelium thickness, keratin layer thickness and thickness of non-keratinized layers) fed with forage palm genotypes: small (Nopalea cochenillifera Salm Dyck) and ear of Mexican elephant (Opuntia stricta Haw), originating from the municipalities of Pernambuco, Lagoa de Itaenga and Ibimirim, in that order, being transported to Recife every 15 days. For each new lot of forage palm, samples were collected with the purpose of quantifying the dry matter and crude protein contents for adjustment of rations. Tifton-85 grass hay, maize corn meal, soybean meal and micro ingredients were commercially available, 36 male SPRD male goats with an average age of 1 year and mean body weight (ICP) of 19.0 ± 2.8 kg were used in a completely randomized design with three treatments and twelve replicates. The animals were individually housed in slatted wooden slats with 1.8 m x 1.0 m (1.8 m2) dimensions, provided with a feeder and drinking fountain, arranged in masonry sheaths covered with asbestos cement tiles. The experiment lasted 100 days, with 30 days for adaptation of animals to experimental conditions and 70 days for data collection. The animals that received the control diet had a greater thickness of the keratinized layer and the non-keratinized layers of the ruminal epithelium (dorsal sacks) in comparison to those that received the diet containing the small palm, without significantly differing from the Mexican palm ear treatment, control diets and with Mexican elephant ear palms cause greater thickening of the keratin layers and non-keratinized layers of the epithelium of the dorsal bags of the rumen of goats, however they can be used to feed goats as they are a good source of nutrients.Item Análise mercadológica da piscicultura ornamental em Camaragibe(2019-01-01) Costa, Anderson Cristiano Ferreira; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3708648078406018The production of ornamental fish has important issues such as: recreational purpose since aquariums can be placed in different places; social since it generates employment in diverse scales; and economics because it represents annually millions of US dollars around the world, including in the city of Camaragibe that is part of the Metropolitan Region of Recife. In that way, acess how this demand and supply of fishes in this municipality is essential for both sellers and buyers, in order to take decisions about which species to choose. For this reason, the market for ornamental fish in Camaragibe has been studied. A questionnaire was carried out verifying if there is intention to create ornamental fish by the local population, as well as what the characteristics of these fish should be for the purchase to be made or not. At the same time, the supply market of these aquatic organisms was studied through pre-structured questionnaires, where the relevance of an investment in marketing and development of techniques of the sector was perceived.Item Análise pós pandemia das condições de comercialização de peixes em mercados públicos e supermercados na Região Metropolitana do Recife(2024-02-28) Prazeres, Juliana Amorim dos; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5216481396084937Fish consumption in Brazil has great socioeconomic and nutritional importance for the Brazilian population. However, the cultivation and use of this forage require significant labor investment throughout the entire process, from planting to harvesting and daily transport for animal feeding. This study hypothesized that post-harvest storage of the forage cactus cultivars ‘Orelha de Elefante Mexicana’ (Opuntia stricta [Haw.] Haw.) and ‘Miuda’ (Opuntia cochenillifera (L.) Mill), for up to 56 days, may interfere by reducing the digestibility levels and gas production of the forage. The objective was to evaluate the effect of different post-harvest storage times on the in vitro digestibility and in vitro total gas production parameters of the forage cactus cultivars ‘Orelha de Elefante Mexicana’ and ‘Miuda’. The experiment was conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) Prof. Antônio de Pádua Maranhão Fernandes, located in Garanhuns - PE, Brazil. The forage cactus used was obtained from a one-year-old cactus plantation established on the farm, preserving the mother cladode during harvest. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design, with repeated measures over time and four replicates. Two experiments were carried out, with each cultivar of forage cactus evaluated independently. Eight experimental treatments were evaluated: 0, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, and 56 days of post-harvest storage. During storage, the aim was to maintain the cladodes without damage throughout the experimental period, with storage taking place in a covered warehouse open on the sides. The samples for analysis were composed of cladodes of different orders and from different parts of the piles. The variables evaluated were in vitro Dry Matter Digestibility (IVDMD), Indigestible Neutral Detergent Fiber (iNDF), and in vitro Total Gas Production (TGP). An analysis of variance was performed, using Tukey’s test with a significance level of 5%. The forage from Orelha de Elefante Mexicana showed high IVDMD, being 823.1 g/kg at time 0 (no storage), and an average of 660.2 g/kg from 8 to 56 days post-harvest. For iNDF, high levels were observed for Orelha de Elefante Mexicana as the storage time increased, with the 40 and 56-day post-harvest times being statistically superior to time 0 (no storage). For Miúda, iNDF on days 32, 40, and 48 of post-harvest storage was 43% higher than at time 0 (no storage). For gas production and fiber carbohydrate degradation, values of 251.5 and 153 mL/g DM were observed, respectively. The forage from Miúda presented high IVDMD at times 0 and 8 (738.4 and 726.4 g/kg), and higher gas production at times 0 and 8 (267.7 and 179.9 mL/g DM, respectively). Both forage cactus cultivars can be stored post-harvest for up to 56 days without significant compromise in digestibility levels and gas production.Item Armazenamento pós-colheita da palma forrageira afeta o índice de apodrecimento e a composição química dos cladódios?(2024-09-18) Felix, Thamyres Priscylla Silva de Oliveira; Santos, Mércia Virginia Ferreira dos; Silva, Natália Viana da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0190091649509674; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9565465836878202; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4093484221298909Item Aspectos do processamento e comércio de pescados em pontos da Região Metropolitana do Recife(2023-04-27) Oliveira, Rebeca Vicente; Porto Neto, Fernando de Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1475750525654086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9947932091712775The fish commercialization has great relevance in the local economic scenario, including in the metropolitan area of Recife, as it is a coastal city surrounded by large rivers and the sea, which makes it possible to obtain \ generation of fish, also having a wide range of breeding and producers of this means of production in the surroundings areas. Such products are usually sold in supermarkets, fairs and public markets and may present different hygienic\sanitary conditions that directly interfere with the health of the consumer. In order to evaluate these conditions in the hygienic and sanitary scope, as well as the quality of the products made available to society as a whole, a bibliographic review was carried out using research and academic publications carried out in recent years as a theoretical basis, as a subsidy and framework for this production. The criteria taken into account were the handling, hygiene care of the product, storage location, treatment and organization of establishments that sell these fish.Item Aspectos nutricionais e seus efeitos no bem-estar e desempenho de equinos de vaquejada(2024-09-27) Sá, Amanda Regina Bertho de; Manso Filho, Hélio Cordeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5631206025493479; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395366050331432Vaquejada, a traditional equestrian sport in Northeast Brazil, imposes significant physical demands on horses, necessitating quick accelerations, sharp turns, and sudden stops. This study emphasizes the critical role of nutritional management in ensuring both the well-being and athletic performance of these animals. Utilizing questionnaires distributed at vaquejada events, we assessed the Nutrition domain within the framework of the Five Domains Model of animal welfare. One of the ways to evolve in increasing productivity is to perform a mapping of the hematomas present in bovine carcasses and quantify the possible economic losses. The objective of this study was to estimate the occurrence of lesions in bovine carcasses in a commercial refrigerator and the economic consequences arising from this scenario. The work will be carried out in a refrigerator, located in Recife-PE. The study comprised 10 random days of data collection, where the boning of 2500 cattle quarters was followed, 800 females and 1700 males, and it was possible to monitor the boning of 2100 rear quarters and 400 front quarters. To record the occurrences, a form developed especially for this purpose was carried out. The results found showed that of the 2500 cattle rooms evaluated, 20.04% had some type of injury, with 398 of the lesions found in males (79.44%) and 103 females (20.56%). Evaluating the economic losses, during the experimental period, it can be observed that the total losses from injuries in kilograms was 88.17 Kg in 2500 rear, and only 501 (20.04%) presented injuries, so the losses during the 10 days was 0.176 Kg/quarter. It can be concluded that the situations to which animals are exposed until the moment of slaughter have an intense impact on the productive and behavioral parameters.Item Atividade antimicrobiana de óleos essenciais de orégano (Origanum vulgare), pimenta rosa (Schinus terebinthifolia) e melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifólia) frente aos patógenos de origem alimentar(2024-02-21) Silva, Esterfani Pereira da; Soares, Luciana Felizardo Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4071178363761831; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3144149210017027In recent years, the use of synthetic additives to prevent food spoilage by microorganisms has been a worrying factor for the food industry, given their negative impact on consumer health. In order to overcome this impasse, essential oils have emerged as an alternative, containing compounds and active principles that inhibit the development of microorganisms. The aim of this study was to evaluate the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of the commercially obtained essential oils of Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Oregano (Origanum vulgare) and Pink pepper (Schinus terebinthifolia). For the study, bacterial isolates at a concentration of 3.5 x 107 CFU/ml (0.5 on the Mc Farland scale) of Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923) and Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922) obtained commercially from the American Type Culture Collection were used. The incubated plates were visually analyzed to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). In the wells where inhibition of bacterial growth was observed, 20 μL of the suspensions were collected and sown on Mueller-Hinton agar plates in an oven at 37ºC for 24 hours to analyze bacterial growth and determine the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). The mean MIC values for oregano, pink pepper and tea tree essential oils were 2500 μg/ml, 650 μg/ml and 500 μg/ml for the E. coli strains, respectively, while the minimum inhibitory concentration of the treatments was 500 μg/ml for the S. aureus bacterial group. As far as CBM is concerned, the average concentrations for the essential oils of oregano, pink pepper and tea tree were 2500 μg/ml, 625 μg/ml and 5000 μg/ml for the E. coli strains and 1250 μg/ml, 2500 μg/ml and 625 μg/ml for the gram-positive bacteria S. aureus, respectively.
