Item "Isso é um cururu?" Um aplicativo como proposta educativa para conservação dos anfíbios anuros do Parque Estadual de Dois Irmãos, Recife-PE(2018) Rocha, Eric Bernardino Gadelha; Santos, Ednilza Maranhão dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5812920432455297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9341342233938949Anuran amphibians belong to a group of vertebrates of great relevance in an ecosystem, because they are bioindicators and biocontroladores, however, they are very sensitive to the environmental changes. In Brazil, this group is one of the most diverse in the Atlantic Forest, however, due to the constant threats that this biome has been suffering, some species are on the list of endangered animals. Initiatives such as the National Plan of Action for Endangered Species have been stimulating and supporting proposals and conservation actions in this biome for these species and their area of occurrence, as is the case of Dois Irmãos State Park - PEDI. This Conservation Unit is located in the metropolitan area of Recife / PE, and has 40 species of anuran amphibians, five of them with some threat of threat. The present work aimed to develop and validate an application entitled "This is a Cururu?" As a didactic tool for environmental education for young people and adults, as well as, offer pedagogical possibilities regarding its use. This instrument, besides being an object of use of anurofauna researchers in field activities, will be an important ally in environmental education activities within the PEDI. The application developed in the free software Android Studio, highlights the threatened species and has twelve attributes on the animal, they are: image of the species, scientific name, popular name, state and international threat level, endemism, animal size in relation to the hand human, geographic distribution in Brazil, type locality, habit, habitat, reproduction mode and advertisement song. The test of the tool was carried out on January 18, 2019 in Zoonoturno, PEDI activity, the evaluation carried out with 24 people, being 98% considered highly relevant, corresponding to the expected expectations for the usability of the app as a didactic tool, highlighting the (90%), which is the differential of the application as an accessible didactic tool with a free proposal developed for mobile phones. In this work three pedagogical proposals were created with the use of the application that can be carried out with park visitors, as well as students of higher, middle and fundamental education.Item Estudo da percepção ambiental dos estudantes de uma Escola Municipal da Zona Rural de Bonito-PE(2018) Oliveira, Shirley Soares de; Araújo, Elian Sandra Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8362137509119353; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8021325895311840Item Técnica de diafanização em dentes humanos(2018-02-23) Silva, Beatriz Rayne Moraes Gomes da; Palma, Mariza Brandão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5056572269695104; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3891961554423682Experimental teaching has the role of being an auxiliary resource capable of ensuring the effective transmission of scientific knowledge. Fresh parts and carcasses, although they offer greater fidelity in the reproduction of the structures in vivo, without additional cost and without loss of material in the fixation of the pieces is difficult to obtain and have a very limited durability for the study. With the passage of time, several techniques of preservation of anatomical pieces were developed; and currently various materials can be used for this purpose, such as: formaldehyde, glycerin, ethyl alcohol and phenol. Some techniques are applied in the study of the internal anatomy of the teeth, among them is diaphanization, which is widely used in the endodontic branch. Clearing is a technique that involves treating biological samples to make them semi-transparent. Currently, there are several protocols for applying the method of diaphanization in human teeth. The technique recommended by Okumura allows the three-dimensional visualization of the morphology of the entire root canal system and its ramifications. The objective of this work was to evaluate the technique of diaphanization in human teeth as effective in the study of the internal anatomy of the same and tool in the process of teaching and learning in graduation. A historical and bibliographic survey was carried out on the main techniques of diaphanization used in endodontics. When submitted to these processes, the teeth should have a degree of whiteness, flexibility and fragility. The ink coloration allows a better visualization of the internal anatomy of the root canals of the teeth. The study of the diaphanization technique besides allowing a specific treatment in endodontics against pathologies is a great pedagogical tool in the process of teaching and learning in the academic scope.Item Caracterização estrutural e fitoquímica e investigação das Atividades antioxidante, antimicrobiana, citotóxica e imunomoduladora promovidas pelo extrato salino das folhas de Malpighia emarginata DC (acerola)(2018-06-11) Barros, Bárbara Rafaela da Silva; Melo, Cristiane Moutinho Lagos de; Leão, Ana Maria dos Anjos Carneiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4802149170985262; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5372943772583670; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2724284777127765Item Hábito alimentar da espécie Pseudupeneus maculatus, Bloch, 1793, capturada no nordeste brasileiro(2018-08-13) Barbosa, Édipo Lucas Soares; Frédou, Thierry; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8119220407894290; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0107690460253805Item Aplicação da geometria fractal na avaliação da vascularização retiniana de pacientes portadores da retinopatia diabética de diferentes graus(2018-08-14) Araújo, Victor Felipe da Silva; Costa, Edbhergue Ventura Lola; Nogueira, Romildo de Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1632012172045871; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1547809115922268; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1074868043519857Item Indução de tolerância ao estresse salino em mudas de cana-de-açúcar pré-condicionadas com ácido salicílico(2018-08-15) Oliveira, Henarmmany Cristina Alves de; Silva, Cláudia Ulisses de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7161911278790052; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6859724202937192Among all the adverse environmental conditions to which the plants are submitted, the salinity is among the main ones, as it causes a reduction in the yield of the crops. In view of this fact, it is necessary to create methods that favor the adaptation of plants to these conditions, one of them is the application of priming treatments before subjecting them to unfavorable environments. The objective of the present work was to promote tolerance to saline stress in pre-sprouted sugarcane seedlings of the Ridesa variety (RB92579), using salicylic acid (AS) as priming. The experimental design was DIC (completely randomized delimitation), with a factorial scheme of 3 x 3, corresponding to three levels of priming: 0mg L-1, 150mg L-1 and 300mg L-1 and three levels of saline concentrations (0 mM, 25 mM and 50 mM NaCl), where each treatment consisted of six replicates. It was applied (single application) in the plants by spraying, AS following the above treatments and after, after fifteen days the plants received the treatments with NaCl. Biometric data, such as: plant height (ALT), fresh biomass (BFA) and dry matter (BSA) and fresh radicular (BFR) and dry biomass (BSR) were measured every 10 days for 40 days. The levels of chlorophyll a, b, total, carotenoids and malondealdehyde (MDA) were also determined. Saline stress promoted reductions of ALT, BFA, BSA, but did not alter BSR, nor did the photosynthetic pigments. Priming promoted reductions in biometric parameters and increase of chlorophyll b at 300mg L-1 AS. Plants not submitted to salinity but receiving 150 mg L-1 of AS reduced BFR. The application of priming provided reductions in lipid peroxidation (MDA) and the H2O2 content acted with a ROS indication. The application of NaCl in the variety RB92579 of sugarcane did not promote oxidative stress in the plants, as a consequence of the salt stress, possibly this behavior may be associated with the low concentration of NaCl applied to the variety, making it impossible to verify effectively the application of salicylic acid as priming.Item Plâncton e microplásticos flutuantes dos recifes de Serrambi (Ipojuca, PE), durante um ciclo circadiano(2018-08-15) Silva, Josefa Luana de Aguiar; Melo Júnior, Mauro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6735233221650148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782368445581490Reef plankton is of vital importance to marine ecosystems as it represents the basis of the pelagic food web in the oceans, and changes in its composition and structure can cause profound changes at all trophic levels. This study aimed to understand the dynamics of the plankton community and the floating microplásticos of the Serrambi beach reefs located in Ipojuca, south coast of Pernambuco, and whether there is influence of a circadian cycle on the structure of these important plots of the pelagic system. The sampling campaign was carried out during a complete circadian cycle in a rainy season, corresponding to the following moments: (i) daytime ebb tide; (ii) nocturnal ebb tide; (iii) daytime flood tide; and (iv) night flood tide. Samples were collected from horizontal trawls and near the reefs, using plankton nets of 20 μm (phytoplankton) and 65 μm (zooplankton). For the microplastics, the samples of this last plot were considered. The phytoplankton groups observed were cyanobacteria, diatoms and dinoflagellates. The values of the phytoplankton density were very different in the four collection times, varying between 123.82 and 1783.02 cells / L, with numerical predominance of diatoms (93.5%). As for zooplankton, the variation in the occurrence of the zooplankton groups was relatively low on all four occasions; however, the density found was very high during daytime (38943.4 ind. m-3) and nocturnal (38460.4 ind. . m-3), with emphasis on copepods (65.92%). Considering microplastics, (i) yarns and lint were found, (ii) hard fragments and (iii) soft fragments of microplastics, all of secondary origin of different colors and sizes, demonstrating several possible sources. The values of the microplastic densities during the circadian cycle are very similar, ranging from 5.19 microns. m-3 (night flood) and 17.69 microns. m-3 (nocturnal ebb), demonstrating also to respond to tidal variation. These results demonstrate how tidal variations occurring along a circadian cycle may have a strong influence on the structure and dynamics of plankton and microplastics. In addition, it is possible to infer that the main environmental variable along the circadian cycle to act on these elements is the tidal variation, with potential influence on the upper trophic links and dependent on seston particles.Item Desafios para a conservação de espécies ameaçadas no nordeste brasileiro(2018-08-17) Silva, Pamela Thaís de Souza; Maciel, Jefferson Rodrigues; Rodrigues, Maria Teresa Aureliano Buril Vital; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5077385212493886; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2113057745947210; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2131390910958052Brazil has extreme relevance as the country with the highest biodiversity in the world. It is estimated that the Brazilian territory presents 46,223 species in its flora, of which 6,046 were assessed for extinction risk and 2,953 were classified as threatened, but only 332 have action plans. This work aims to verify in which Units of Conservation eight endangered species occurring in the Northeast can be reintroduced. In addition, to verify if the size of the conservation units interferes in the strategies of conservation of these species. The eight endangered species were selected from the available SpeciesLink data and are: Manilkara dardanoi, Aechmea muricata, Eschweilera alvimii, Cryptanthus zonatus, Jacaranda rugosa, Griffinia gardneriana, Solanum jabrense and Aechmea werdermannii. The study area established was the Brazilian Northeast, which is composed mainly of the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga biomes. Data were collected from herbariums on the SpeciesLink database. Subsequently, to evaluate the potential distribution, ecological niche modeling was performed using the R statistical environment, in which two Bioclim and MaxEnt algorithms were selected, 19 bioclimatic variables. The potential distribution data of the species were used to verify the conservation units in which the species could be reintroduced, the area of occupancy (AOO) and extent of occurrence (EOO). When comparing the models generated by the algorithms, it was verified that the potential distribution of the Caatinga species is higher than those of the Atlantic Forest. This fact can be proven by the analysis of Occurrence Extension and Area of Occupancy. In the comparison of the number of conservation units for each species of the biomes, an inversion of the pattern that occurred for AOO and EOO was observed, that is, Atlantic Forest species presented a greater number of UC's than those of Caatinga. The best strategy to guarantee the protection of these species would be the establishment of ecological corridors in the Atlantic Forest, and the implementation of a greater number of UC's in the Caatinga, even if smaller.Item Cuidado parental de Frostius pernambucensis Bokermann, 1962 (Anura, Bufonidae) - um anfíbio endêmico da Mata Atlântica nordestina.(2018-08-22) Dias, Emerson Gonçalves; Santos, Ednilza Maranhão dos; Pereira, Edivania do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1480138510242319; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5812920432455297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1914925883418494Parental care in amphibians may be of the facultative, maternal, paternal or biparental type and may involve assistance, transportation in some stages of life, such as spawning, tadpoles or young people. In general description of parental care in Brazilian anurans are rare, especially in the Bufonidade family. Frostius pernambuscensis is a species belonging to the Bufonidae family, exclusively endemic to the Atlantic Forest of northeastern Brazil, categorized as a species vulnerable to the risk of extinction for the state of Pernambuco, and is thus contemplated by the National Action Plan for the conservation of the Northeastern herpetofauna. The present work had as objective to describe the parental care of Frostius pernambucensis, its behavioral repertoire, predation event and to propose an educational instrument, a paradidatic, to aid in educational actions. In total, three spawnings were observed at two oviposition sites, two in 2015 (one in July and one in August) and one in March 2017, all containing male F. pernambucensis individuals tending both eggs and larvae in plant phytophorisms (one with about 0.60 m of soil, and another with approximately 1.20 m). In total, 47 behavioral acts were recorded in six subcategories; (17.36%), manipulation of offspring (14.78%), displacement (12.99%), vocalization (9.71%), and maintenance behaviors (1, 64%), all belonging to the category of parental care. During the observations, a predatory event occurred, where a frog of the family Hylidae, Scinax eurydice was found feeding on tadpoles of F. pernambucensis belonging to the third spawning registered in the parental care. Finally, translating the scientific language that described the phenomena observed in this research, we elaborated a proposal of a paradidatic book that tells the story of the parental care done by the male to eggs and newly hatched larvae, involving from contexts and behavioral acts covered in this assistance process , to the inclusion of elements of human society, mainly cultural elements typical of Pernambuco and Northeastern culture, since this animal was described in the state of Pernambuco, in order to bring the reality of the two universes closer together, that of the reader who identifies with the history of the character, and the fauna represented by the character that becomes known and popularized, which is of great relevance, especially close to areas protected by Conservation Unit as is the case of PEDI.Item Plasticidade fenotípica de Talinumtriangulare (Jacq.) In an attempt investigate an enabling strategy for the construction of biochemical concepts, we seek to develop, implement and validate a Teaching Sequence (SD), based on theoretical assumptions established by the Model of Multiple PerspectivesPernambuco (MoMuP-PE), bringing aspects of food as problematizing context. In the present research, the SD built, was applied in a class of the technical course in Agropecuária integrated to the High School linked to the Agricultural College Dom Augustinho Ikas (CODAI / UFRPE), within the scope of a school intervention linked to an institutional extension project. The purpose of this research was to guide the planned actions involving the construction of concepts involving energetic metabolism, predicted in High School, working the composition of food within a chemical and biological universe, being these articulated to the concept of health and society. From the analysis of the questionnaires applied before and after the intervention, as well as the activities produced during the SD, it was possible to validate the proposed SD, in view of the conceptual re-elaborations carried out by the students and the articulations involving the micro and macro nutrients, the process feed, and the factors which interfere with building a healthy eating habit. In this sense, the theoreticalmethodological assumptions of MoMuP-PE guided the construction of the actions present in the SD developed, so that, from these orientations present in the proposed actions, allowed the students to experience, in an initial study perspective, activities of deconstruction and reconstructions (mental and materialized), leading them in the process of conceptual elaboration in a pragmatic and articulated perspective, permeating in this process, the thematic crossings observed throughout the activities.Item Percepções sobre a educação ambiental e sua inserção no currículo escolar(2019) Pereira, Maria Elizabete Alves; Guilherme, Betânia Cristina; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3131730022364100; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3922122165023084The ecological movements that occurred in the 60s and 70s in Europe and the United States were important discussions for society to understand how we are degrading the environment, due to the capitalist system through the high industrial production and the use of natural resources to satiate our consumption power. In this way, the Environmental Education began to integrate the components of the curriculum at all levels of education in an interdisciplinary way. In order for this theme to be worked on in school, the school curriculum must include the cross-sectional theme indicated in the National Curriculum Parameters to be developed during the school year. The objective of the present study was to analyze the Environmental Education practices developed by elementary school teachers of the final years, about the perspective of how social and environmental issues are present in our society. However, it was possible to perceive that the problems of the community are esplanades in the classroom, but the Environmental Education still happens in a discreet way, without its environmentalization in the curriculum. And so, inclusions of actions applied in the school would be important so that the practice of Environmental Education can be continuous and interdisciplinary.Item Relação entre a presença de dormência e a dinâmica na Emergência de herbáceas do banco de sementes do solo da caatinga(2019) Souza, José Djalma de; Araújo, Elcida de Lima; Aguiar, Bruno Ayron de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2829559518802671; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6239993539613839; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4159123734936230Item Blended learning no ensino da respiração celular: uma proposta de sala de aula invertida(2019-02-04) Monteiro, Maria Gabriela Silva Carneiro; Araújo, Rosangela Vidal de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0161284695913412; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4031709664939616This article aims to present the results of the use of the inverted classroom model (flipped classroom) in the Licentiate course in Biological Sciences of a federal public institution. The inverted classroom is characterized as an approach by which the student assumes responsibility for the theoretical study and the classroom lecture serves as a practical application of the previously studied concepts. To carry out this research, we conducted a descriptive, observational and field research with a qualitative approach. The subjects comprised 34 students and it was held in the discipline of Biochemistry of Systems with a workload of 60 hours. For data collection, a VARK questionnaire (Visual, Aural-Read, Write and Kinesthetic) was applied before the intervention, a form after the intervention containing open and closed questions and three activities related to the cellular respiration content. This work points to strong evidence of the potential for the use of the inverted classroom in the formation of concepts in biochemistry and the importance of knowledge about students; learning styles for an optimization of the use of the proposed method. We also diagnosed some problems faced during the research, such as the strong inheritance of the student by the traditional method of teaching, which caused some resistance and difficulty of adaptation at the beginning of the discipline. The data obtained show that, in spite of the barriers to overcome during the experience, the implementation of learning models and innovative attitudes has contributed a lot, especially for the student to make worthwhile what he has learned in the discipline, showing that they know how to make appropriate decisions, solve problems, work collaboratively and make a difference in your future profession.Item Estudos sobre a fauna planctônica de um complexo estuarino no litoral norte de Pernambuco: estado da arte e perspectivas(2019-02-05) Pereira, Rayssa Thaís de Oliveira; Melo Júnior, Mauro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6735233221650148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3001942985766390Estuaries are very dynamic environments and have a high level of productivity. The Santa Cruz Channel, located on the northern coast of Pernambuco, acts as the key element in regulating the abiotic phenomena of the estuarine complex. The zooplankton is represented by important species in the bioindicación in the quality of the water, since, its communities are directly affected by the biotic and abiotic conditions. The present study aims to gather a quantitative of research published between the 1970s and 2010, aiming to raise scientific gaps related to the estuarine zooplankton of this estuarine complex. A total of 20 published articles and book chapters were analyzed. The studies were tabulated, based on the presence (1) and absence (0) of elements such as year of publication, locality, subjects addressed, biotic and abiotic aspects of the area. Studies related to the estuarine zooplankton of the Santa Cruz Channel were started in the 1970s. However, during the most recent decades (1990-2010), surveys are characterized by the continuity of the descriptive works, to the detriment of the analyzes on vertical migration, secondary production, feeding and exploration of more zooplanktonic groups besides Copepoda, Decapoda and total zooplankton. Some approaches have gained greater visibility in the last years of the decade of 2010, presenting more descriptive researches regarding zooplankton and the estuarine complex.Item Síndrome de Burnout, qualidade do sono e nível de atividade física em professores universitários(2019-02-05) Silva, Aurea Letícia Gomes da; Lima, Anna Myrna Jaguaribe de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6743434574905339; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4368077040588552Item Avaliação in vitro de derivados 1,2-alcanodiamina frente ao Mycobacterium tuberculosis sensível e multidroga resistente(2019-07-09) Laet, João Paulo de Lucena; Pimentel, Lílian Maria Lapa Montenegro; Burgos, Fábia Regina Nascimento Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3776642205741967; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6066865382706623; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3972432719752724Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is the causative agent of tuberculosis (TB), an infectious-contagious disease, considered one of the deadliest in the world. TB remains a major global public health problem and so far, there has been no effective way to eradicate it. A major change in TB trajectory occurred with the introduction of the first anti-TB drugs and consequently the emergence of resistance forms to antimycobacteria, resistant multidrug tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and extensively resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB). From this, the need arises for new drugs to be proposed in the treatment of this disease. The present study aims to evaluate diamine derivatives, related to ethambutol, against sensitive Mtb and MDR. Ten compounds derived from the class 1,2-alkanediamine were synthesized and characterized structurally by the pharmaceutical chemistry laboratories of the University of Salamanca and provided through international cooperation. For the biological tests, the standard reference strain H37Rv (ATCC 27294) was classified as a strain sensitive to all drugs used to treat TB and a clinical isolate of a patient affected by pulmonary tuberculosis with a MDR profile, provided by the Health Laboratory Public of Pernambuco. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) determined the evaluation of compound activity in 96-well plates by the colorimetric microdilution method. For cytotoxicity (CC50) the MTT test (3- (4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl) -2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) was used with the J774A.1 cell line. The selectivity index (IS) was calculated by the ratio of MIC and CC50. The ten compounds tested had a MIC ranging from 4.0 to> 64.0 μM for strain H37Rv and MDR. With respect to CC50, the compounds had a concentration range ranging from 3.9 to 32.8 μM. Compound D15 exerted the best activity against the reference strain (H37Rv) and MDR strain (MDR 1576), however in the cytotoxicity test the compound that presented the best result was D10. Regarding the selectivity index, compounds A4 and A5 were the ones that obtained the best results even though they were below the ideal index. The compounds evaluated in this study showed moderate activity against Mtb and support the continuity of the study of 1,2-alkanediamine derivatives.Item Anatomia vegetativa e reprodutiva de Apeiba tibourbou Aubl. (Malvaceae)(2019-07-10) Silva, Daniele Oliveira da; Palhares Neto, Luiz; Bezerra, Elisangela Lucia de Santana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360870964749577; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5084972198293403; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2375068620109287Apeiba tibourbou (Aubl.) is a native tree belonging to the Malvaceae family that is part of a project developed by IPHAN, called Boats do Brasil, as it has been widely exploited by fishermen to make rafts since colonial times. In the literature, there are ecological studies suggesting it as an alternative to reforestation because it is a pioneer species. However, works on the anatomical structure are scarce. Considering the importance of this study as a subsidy for future research, especially in the area of ecology, the present work aimed to perform the anatomical study of vegetative and reproductive structures, as well as to analyze leaf histochemical compounds. Root, stem, leaf and flower buds were collected, fixed and processed according to usual techniques in plant anatomy. The root is tetrarch, transversely reveals the well developed dermal, fundamental and vascular systems. The stem tissues are perfectly differentiated, appearing the four regions: epidermis, cortical region, vascular cylinder and medulla. Histochemistry shows the presence of alkaloids, phenolic compounds, epidermis lipids and starch grains widely distributed throughout the parenchyma. The young and mature leaves of the adult individual have similar structures, however, some differences are noticeable in the young leaf as underdeveloped sclerenchymatic tissue, absence of fibers, increased secretory channels and increased trichomes. The leaves of cultivated plants have incipient development, however, it is possible to recognize anatomical aspects in common with the adult individual. The cross-section of the flower bud reveals very differentiated sepals and petals, while the innermost whorls, androceu and gynoecium are meristematic. Therefore, it is concluded that the species A. tibourbou presents anatomical structures that are diagnostic for the Malvaceae family and are highly related to the ecophysiology of xeric environments, as it has several adaptive features against excessive water loss.
