Item A mulher cultivada: a construção social da mulher, presente no conteúdo do jornal pentecostal Adnews(2019-12-19) Rocha, Kiara de Sena Fernandes; Souza, Claúdio Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9245887717292317This monograph is an analysis of the Pentecostal media that has as object of study the "ADNews Journal" (Official Journal of the Evangelical Church Assembly of God in Pernambuco). It seeks to understand how this woman is cultivated through the editions of the newspaper, and understand the extent of the discourses present in the newspaper ADNews about the social construction of an ideal of woman, in order to systematize the themes and discourses present in ADNews that talk about the woman, and how this image is transmitted. The methodology for this work took place through the reading of the newspaper ADNews, covering a period from 2017 to 2019. This reading and systematization of data were guided by the theoretical and methodological material of content analysis (CA), in addition to the theoretical framework of the sociology of communication. We seek to identify and reflect on the characteristic elements that will compose the content produced about Pentecostal women, considering that these discourses are socially constructed and contributing to the production of a specific ideal of women. The work seeks to understand to what extent the ADNews Journal can be an instrument of control of the woman's body. We raise as a hypothesis that the newspaper ADNews is a technology of power, which promotes an idealized discourse of pentecostal women that one wishes. This cultivated body interferes with the relationships of domination between men and women. The content in religious discourse produces a male body that takes advantages over the feminine, since such discourse regulates and subordinates the female body against the male. The result of this research is that to a media control over women through the images, and the discourses presented in the columns that quotes the woman, determining her behavior, building an ideal of woman, which she must be willing to accept to to become a woman and servant of God, one must have obedience to the Lord, to be a wise, submissive honorable woman, building of the home, and as a helper to her husband.Item Imprensa feminina em Pernambuco: representações, discursos, legitimações e relações de gênero no periódico Maria (1920-1925)(2022-10-04) Cavalcanti, Sarha Dennise Pedrosa; Bandeira, Élcia de Torres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4669638328828195; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1908693754800189This work has the analysis of women and gender relations between the years 1920 and 1925 in the state of Pernambuco through the religious magazine Maria. The construction of the text passes through the feminine press, the vision about the woman in the Catholic Church, he feminist movement of the 1920s in Brazil and understanding the changes that the country was going through in the first decades of the 20th century and the resistance of progress for some groups. The theoretical basis used will be Joan Scott for the discussion of gender and Roger Chartier to work on the representations and Cultural History.
