Item O que chamamos de produto natural? análise de sentidos e significados atribuídos a conceitos químicos ao longo de uma sequência didática contextualizada(2024-03-05) Albuquerque, João Paulo Araujo de; Amaral, Edenia Maria Ribeiro do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5241130686153506; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6109325346299515The abandonment of common sense knowledge, treated as an obstacle by scientists, does not represent the goal of civic education, as it is a knowledge developed through subject-subject and subject-world relationships, even though the product of these complex interactions may be a naive understanding of reality. Therefore, it is necessary for students to establish a critical relationship between the worldview they bring with them and the scientific knowledge acquired. In light of this, a didactic sequence (DS) was carried out with the instrumental aid of contextualization of knowledge present in the area of Natural Products Chemistry and folk medicine. The results indicate that students attributed different meanings to the term "natural product," with three general meanings distributed at different moments of the DS. The first meaning reveals that students have the idea that natural products are chemicals extracted from nature and beneficial to health. After discussing the social and historical importance of natural products, students come to establish that natural products are chemical substances produced by living organisms and not necessarily beneficial. However, students resist relating that the same substances can be produced in a laboratory. This meaning was modified after contextualizing chromatographic techniques and the preparation of extracts used in folk medicine, which required scientific concepts such as substance, mixture, purity, and chemical transformations. Students established that natural products are substances found in the form of mixtures and established that the different medicinal properties of the extracts result from the different compositions of the mixtures obtained.Item WebForAll: Simplificando o entendimento da WCAG com gamificação(2024-03-08) Serafim, Maria Giulia Maia; Burégio, Vanilson André de Arruda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3518416272921878; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0667725413041028In the digital age, web accessibility is a growing concern, aiming to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy online resources. However, this concern is often not prioritized in software projects due to a lack of basic knowledge on how to implement it. This work addresses the research problem: How to facilitate understanding of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)? To solve it, Design Thinking was adopted as the methodology. Based on this methodology and aiming to solve the identified problem, an innovative solution was proposed: an educational platform that not only teaches these guidelines but does so in an engaging and motivating way through gamification.Item “Que a sua sede não precise só de água, nem sua fome necessite só de pão”: um olhar sobre o significado dado à arte pelos estudantes e funcionários da Escola Municipal de Arte João Pernambuco(2024-02-26) Alves, Mariana da Conceição; Sousa, João Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9057718684364301; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9994777527111627This paper discussed the perspective given to art and the importance of the space of the Municipal School of Art João Pernambuco from the viewpoint of the people who bring life to this school, employees, and students. Considering the school in its role as a promoter of social inclusion and democratization of arts education contributing to citizenship formation, this work was realized through the conduct of an on-site qualitative research, employing participant observation, direct observation, and interviews. Among the findings of the research, it was evident that regarding the significance given to the relationship with art and the school space by the interviewees, the therapeutic view of the artistic environment, its connection with the religious aspect, and the sensitivity to awaken in them a broader and more critical view of social reality stood out. Besides professional achievement, the realization of dreams, and the enhancement of self-esteemItem A integração cultural na Rede Estadual de Pernambuco: o caso da Escola de Referência em Ensino Médio Maria Vieira Muliterno(2024-02-28) Sousa, Diego Henrique Barbosa Lima de; Bezerra, Gabriella Maria Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8954499933466652Culture is recognized as a fundamental right, and it is the duty of the State to guarantee the rights of access to and cultural expression for all citizens. In this context, the school stands out as a State institution and agent of cultural integration through its pedagogical and curricular practices. Thus, the present research aims to highlight the role of the state school in Pernambuco as a facilitator of access to culture and to understand how pedagogical practices assist in the debate, recognition, and occupation of cultural spaces. To this end, the research was conducted in two stages: In the first, theoretical attributions of the concept of culture were sought, addressed by Câmara Cascudo (1983), as well as cultural contexts and practices of cultural policy, with Calabre (2007), Chauí (2008), Coulangeon (2014), Jourdain (2017) and Simis (2007), in addition to pedagogical approaches and methodologies developed by Paulo Freire (1980; 1996; 2005) and Celestin Freinet (1975). In the second stage, through qualitative methodology, data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with public education agents from the Maria Vieira Muliterno High School, located in Abreu e Lima. Based on theoretical surveys and data analysis, it was possible to understand that the school not only serves as a space for social interaction for young people but also plays a fundamental role in the production, identification, and preservation of culture. Therefore, it is concluded that the school, in addition to being a space for social interaction and academic formation, also acts as an agent of cultural integration in the lives of young people.Item Entre o campo e a arte: experiências agroecológicas culturais(2024-03-04) Pinto, Anna Guilhermina de Abreu; Vasconcelos, Gilvânia de Oliveira Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3816764037807462; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7506637718136783During my bachelor's degree in Agroecology at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, I had the opportunity to experience an enriching academic trajectory. Over these years, I was able to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that allowed me to understand the importance of agroecology as a multidisciplinary science. Since the beginning of the course, I realized that agroecology goes beyond a simple agricultural production technique. It encompasses social, economic and environmental aspects, promoting sustainability and preservation of natural resources. This holistic vision awakened in me the desire to apply the principles of agroecology in my daily life, both on my farm and in my community. Over the years, I have produced several projects at my site, seeking to combine art and education with environmental conservation. Through events and the use of artistic and educational techniques, such as painting workshops, sculpture and environmental education classes with recyclable materials and clay, I managed to obtain results both in terms of creativity and environmental awareness of the participants. Art has become a powerful tool for conveying messages about the importance of preserving nature, while providing an enriching and inspiring experience for everyone involved. Furthermore, I realized that education and culture play a fundamental role in the process of spreading agroecology. Through workshops and exchanges of experiences, I was able to share my knowledge with other people, encouraging them to adopt sustainable practices on their properties. In summary, my academic training in Agroecology was essential for my personal and professional growth. Through it, I was able to understand the importance of agroecology as a viable alternative for the production of healthy food, but in addition, it also values a sustainable way of life, culture, art and education as fundamental elements for building a more balanced and conscious society. Also, I was able to apply the knowledge acquired on my site and in my community, contributing to the construction of a fairer and more balanced future.Item Educação ambiental para sustentabilidade e o consumo de alimentos agroecológicos no município de Bonito-PE(2020) Souza, Beatriz Pessoa de; Vasconcelos, Gilvânia de Oliveira Silva de; Gervais, Ana Maria Dubeux; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7478606758967006; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3816764037807462; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4811027243678618The present project was developed in a municipal school in the North Strait of Bonito - PE, articulated with the major action of the Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperatives of UFRPE (INCUBACOOP), which has been developing action in the county since 2016.
