Thus, this qualitative work aims to investigate the contents of the History of Camaragibe that are discussed during classes, and the pedagogical practices of History teachers who work in High School at Francisco de Paula Corrêa de Araújo School, establishment belonging to the Pernambuco State Education Network, located in the municipality of Camaragibe, Metropolitan Region of Recife. In that way, acess how this demand and supply of fishes in this municipality is essential for both sellers and buyers, in order to take decisions about which species to choose. For this reason, the market for ornamental fish in Camaragibe has been studied. A questionnaire was carried out verifying if there is intention to create ornamental fish by the local population, as well as what the characteristics of these fish should be for the purchase to be made or not. At the same time, the supply market of these aquatic organisms was studied through pre-structured questionnaires, where the relevance of an investment in marketing and development of techniques of the sector was perceived.
