In this context, the internet and its digital platforms work as enhancers for the accessibility of scientific and technological information. Currently, a lot of information about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L. is being published in the most diverse media, but this information does not always have a scientific basis. Most of society is uninformed of the implications of this plant in the treatment of various pathologies, especially in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The objective of this work was to create a mobile app, the Endocannabinoid, with scientific information, adopting communication strategies in simple and accessible language. The FabApp website was used to create the application, academic research platforms, such as Google, Scielo and NCBI, to reference and Canva to create teaching materials, such as images, visual content and logo. Thus, the development of this application made it possible to scientifically inform people about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L., and the Laws governing the cultivation and medicinal use of the plant, and it has contributed to improving the quality of life of people suffering from diseases which can be treated with the active principle of this plant.
