The internship must be carried out in up to two areas of veterinary medicine, and the student must complete a compulsory workload of 420 hours. From the completion of the supervised internship in the area in which it is intended to act, the student is allowed to experience practical experiences, in which apply the knowledge acquired during graduation. This work is a partial requirement to obtain a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and was carried out under the guidance of PhD. Ana Paula Monteiro Tenório. The first part of this work describes the activities developed in the area of Veterinary Anesthesiology of the Hospital de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal da Bahia (Salvador-BA) and Hospital Veterinário Pet Dream (Recife-PE) from august to november of 2019, and in the second part a case report accompanied during the internship, referring to the use of the neurolocalizer in locoregional block of the sciatic and femoral nerves.
