    Imagens gastronômicas: cozinha e a comunicação nas redes sociais

    It is evident that the growth of gastronomy has been leading it to spaces other than the kitchen, at this point linked to the communication process experienced by society that introduced the use of images as part of this language, and became important with the dissemination of social networks. For this, it is necessary to understand the relationship between photographs of culinary preparations and the influence of the social network Instagram on the consumption of gastronomic images, demonstrating how important the look of a dish is, which points to the perspective of plating as an attractive visual. Thus, a qualitative exploratory methodology was chosen, based on bibliographic knowledge and information gathering through semi-structured interviews, carried out through the Zoom virtual platform, with the participation of a professional from each area, gastronomy, communication and photography. , with method of analysis of results by interpretation. It is concluded that it was possible to perceive the notoriety that the images of the preparations have, from the social relations brought about through communication and exposure on social networks.
