Item Natação enquanto conteúdo da educação física escolar(2024-10-03) Fragoso, Eduardo Santos; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221Swimming, initially an essential skill from ancient times, has evolved over the years to become a comprehensive sport recognized for its ability to positively impact human development. This study starts from the question: How has swimming as a content of school Physical Education been studied? aims to investigate and analyze how the production of knowledge has been dealing with the sport of swimming. To achieve this, examining its historical, social and cultural aspects, while identifying the benefits associated with its practice. The methodology used in the study was a bibliographic review, with a qualitative approach, from a social perspective, based on the contributions of several authors. The search was carried out on the SciELO, Google Scholar platforms and the UFRPE repository. The search descriptors were “Natação AND Escola” “Natação AND Educação Física”, resulting in a range of 5 and 20 works found for each term. However, after a detailed evaluation, only 5 of these works were considered relevant to the topic, meeting the established inclusion criteria, such as analyzing academic works and scientific articles published between 2015 and 2022, in Portuguese. The results obtained highlight that starting swimming early provides significant benefits in several dimensions of development and health. These include advances in psychomotor development, strengthening social and emotional relationships, promoting self-knowledge, emotional regulation, muscle strengthening, improving circulatory and respiratory health, postural correction, among other aspects. In summary, the skills acquired through swimming in childhood result in a notable improvement in quality of life, considering the cumulative benefits throughout continuous practice. It became evident after analyzing the articles, that although the practice of swimming plays a crucial role in the psychomotor and social development of different age groups, its practice is not available to all children, most schools do not offer this content in School Physical Education, justifying this by the lack of adequate facilities in schools, making its implementation difficult. Despite these challenges, there is gradual progress in integrating this sport into the school environment.Item Benefícios da natação para crianças com transtorno do espectro autista(2023-09-06) Marinho, Carla de Lima; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1897344851607618Swimming is one of the physical activities considered most complete to be introduced into the lives of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This research has the general objective of understanding the benefits of swimming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through the production of knowledge on the topic. The specific objectives were to understand Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD, analyze swimming as a Physical Education teaching content and understand the relationship between Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD and swimming. This is a descriptive study, of the bibliographic review type with a qualitative approach. The study's methodology was the analysis of six articles located in databases/digital libraries: LILACS, Scielo and Periódicos CAPES. The results indicate the presence of improvements in the general daily behavior of children with autism after contact and continuous interaction with teachers and classmates in the experience of playful activities and simulation of real situations through verbal orders and imitation of movements in the aquatic environment. The conclusion reports the integration of affectivity and playfulness as essential factors in the teaching-learning process of individuals with ASD.Item A natação como conteúdo da educação física na produção do conhecimento(2024-03-07) Oliveira, Vinícius Alves de; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221The present research has as its theme Understanding swimming as a content of physical education, and its problematization in the production of knowledge. Since my childhood, my parents have emphasized the importance of swimming for the sake of health and have always encouraged me to do it. In physical education classes, swimming seemed to be one of the most neglected subjects. There is awareness that swimming, in physical education classes, is often little offered by teachers due to issues. Schools that have swimming pools are scarce and even these are rare that offer swimming in regular classes. Swimming while the PE content lacks more amplified studies, consequently, there is a lower adherence to the content by the teachers, which directly implies the pedagogical work that will be carried out, ultimately harming the students who will hardly have access to knowledge.Item Sistematização das aulas de natação: uma proposta didático-metodológica(2024-03-11) Souza, João Crisson de Andrade; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221This study proposed a didactic-methodological approach to structure swimming classes in higher education, specifically for the Physical Education A – Swimming course at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. The exploratory research aimed to analyze the benefits of the swimming teaching methodology in students' education, going beyond the development of motor skills to promote health and social integration. The research method included a literature review and the implementation of action research. The literature review was conducted on platforms such as Scielo, Capes Periodicals Portal, and Lilacs, exploring articles, dissertations, and theses related to body culture, higher education, swimming, swimming teaching methodology, and sports pedagogy. The developed teaching program comprises 43 lessons covering topics related to adaptation to the aquatic environment, breathing, flotation, propulsion, Olympic turns, basic diving, aquatic play activities, and water games. All are grounded in the Swimming Teaching Methodology and the Critical Overcoming Approach to Physical Education Teaching. This study plays a significant role in enriching the academic education of students while enhancing swimming instruction in the university context at UFRPE.Item Natação e o desenvolvimento infantil(2023-09-06) Ribeiro, Esther Eunice de Lira Silva; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221Swimming is a sport based on the movement of the human body in the aquatic environment. It has been present in human life since the beginning as a means of survival and over the decades it has become one of the most complete sports, due to its ability to contribute to the evolutionary process and work the body as a whole. This research is based on the following problem: What are the benefits of swimming for the motor, cognitive and social development of children? Its aim is to analyze the benefits of swimming for children's development in these aspects, in order to highlight the importance of practicing it in early childhood. The research methodology consists of a qualitative bibliographical review, which seeks to approach the subject from a social environment, through the understanding of other authors. The results of the research show that swimming can be practiced from an early age and is beneficial for various areas of development and health such as: psychomotor development, social and emotional relationships, self-knowledge, emotional control, improved muscle tone, circulatory and respiratory system, postural correction, and others. With this in mind, it can be concluded that through the skills developed during the practice of swimming, the child obtains an improvement in the quality of life, considering the benefits acquired through it.Item Ter ou não ter acesso, eis a questão: acesso à natação entre estudantes do ensino médio de escolas públicas de Pernambuco(2021-07-15) Melo, Périclis Alves de; Tassitano, Rafael Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8162584900913172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4824242129323473Pernambuco has a privileged hydrography made up of seas, rivers, lakes that cut across the entire state. Knowing how to move in an autonomous and safe way in a liquid environment is, in addition to a right, with regard to the social function of the Physical Education curriculum component, a skill that can save lives. Swimming is presented as a corporal practice located within individual sports and is treated as a Physical Education content. This study aims to analyze if high school students from state public schools in Pernambuco have access to swimming, whether in a school environment or for leisure, and also identify if factors such as regions of the state and infrastructure interfere in the access to the swimming practice. The methodology used was a secondary analysis of the research project Practice of Physical Activities and Health Risk Behaviors in High School Students in Pernambuco - Temporal Trend Study (2016) database that covered the entire state of Pernambuco, interviewing students from 14 to 19 years old enrolled in the state school system, with the aim to analyze risky behavior among adolescents. The hypothesis was that the students in the state Education system had little access to swimming, and, as a result, the survey found out that only 2.3% of Pernambuco students reported swimming as a preferred activity. The conclusion was that swimming is pretermit due to the lack of specific structure for its performance.Item Recomendações metodológicas para o ensino da natação visando o desenvolvimento infantil(2021-02-18) Silva, Matheus Henrique da Luz e; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9363208928203384This study starts from the following problem: How to use swimming to help the child's development? To this end, we aim as a general objective of the study, Analyze in the journals how to use swimming to help the child's development, emphasizing what is recommended for each age, as specific objectives: a) Analyze swimming as a content that helps in child development ; b) Identify the concept of childhood, its stages of development, the importance of motor development from swimming, recognizing its own body and its possibilities, relating the stages of development with the foundation of swimming to be taught; c) Propose methodological recommendations about teaching swimming, aiming at the child's development. The methodology used was a qualitative research of bibliographic nature. As a result, we observed that swimming can be practiced from an early age, some studies claim that after three months, she can accompany the child throughout his life; improving your proprioception, appetite, quality of sleep, motor development, among other benefits. To do this, we separate the ages by phases and select the one that, according to the literature, is the most suitable for each phase.Item Natação escolar na produção do conhecimento em Educação Física(2022-06-01) Salles, Daniel Henrique dos Santos; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221Swimming is an important skill to be developed by everyone, and physical education has already developed means to present the teaching of the necessary skills to master the body over the water, and then the learning of sport swimming. In this study, the problem is based on questioning the production of knowledge about school swimming in journals, to qualitatively address the presence or absence of this theme, how it is approached in schools, if what is taught can be used in some way. pedagogically or if it just boils down to gesture for gesture's sake. The objective of this study is to analyze the sport as a social phenomenon, an element of body culture and swimming within it. Historically report how the man-water relationship emerged in the history of humanity, how it developed and how it presents itself. Also treat the swimming phenomenon as an object of Physical Education teaching and how it should be treated pedagogically at school. And to analyze in the production of knowledge how school swimming has been treated according to academic production. By comparing 17 studies from 1999 to 2022 through a qualitative approach and analyzing them from the perspective of the critical-overcoming approach of Physical Education, we could have a glimpse of some regularities on the subject, and some aspects that refer to singularities found in each study selected. The results found suggest little progress on the subject, bringing the same problems already known by older publications and it is verified that the practice of swimming, despite being extremely important for human development, is neglected in society in general, and there are few spaces where working-class children can access this systematized knowledge.Item Legislação e currículo dos cursos de Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Educação Física: na produção do conhecimento(2022-05-31) Albuquerque, Paulo Alberto Lima de; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4612542376472861The main objective of the present work is to understand the performance of the Physical Education professional as a teacher in the area of Bachelor and Teaching, based on swimming/sports with the intention of highlighting the emptying of workers' rights and spaces intended for the performance of workers. graduates of these courses in the labor market. The research also has as specific objectives: To identify the production of knowledge under the prism of the legislation since the creation of the course and its division, in addition to underlying issues and to analyze in the production of knowledge in the area of Physical Education the differences between the curricula of the courses of degree and bachelor's degree, based on swimming/water sports. In this way, a literature review was carried out followed by a content analysis supported by Bardin (1988) allowing us to conclude that the justifications for the curricular separation from the contents of the swimming disciplines are not enough to promote a speech in defense of the maintenance of the curricula as they are currently, requiring the reunification of the course in a single and expanded degree.Item A percepção de pais/mães/responsáveis sobre a participação de crianças e adolescentes no projeto de extensão universitária: Barbatanas da Rural(2019-02-06) Amorim, Camila Candida; Costa, Marcos André Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2739394540779281; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4210957117367584This study is based on importance of sporting modality swimming, because there are several reasons that lead us looking for the practice of this modality. Many people seek the swimming activity for improve posture, respiratory re-education, low impact activity, improvement of the cardiovascular system and physical capacities (strength, endurance, coordination). In this context, the aim of this study was to analyze the perception of parents and guardians about the possible benefits for children and teenagers swimming practitioners in a university extension project. Through a qualitative nature, data were collected by a semi-structured interview with 18 parents and guardians of students of “Projeto Barbatanas da Rural”, from Rural Federal University of Pernambuco – Sede/Dois Irmãos, Recife. The data interpretation was performed through the content analysis method. The results showed affection and confidence of parents and guardians with the social project, revealing be an important action for children and teenagers, improving the perception of their children about sociability and responsibility in socializing situations. It is concluded that the extension project is doing a good work in front of the community, obtained positive results from parents and guardians of students, because they are perceiving growth and development of children not only in the sporting modality that practice, but also as a human.
