The school is the environment where knowledge lives, where it is transmitted to students, playing an extremely important role in society. It is worth being aware that it is the school that brings together the day-to-day knowledge of students expressed in society, with scientific knowledge. Analyzing the health - Physical Education relationship, we realize that health knowledge has always been interconnected with the intentions, objectives and specific contents of Physical Education. Therefore, we used qualitative research methodology, linked to a semi-structured interview to collect data and treated through content analysis (Souza Jr). The interview was carried out with a Physical Education teacher who works in the public education system and treats health as a transversal theme in his classes. In this way, we understand that it is possible to address the issue of health in Physical Education classes in the New High School, treating this knowledge as a transversal theme and intertwining it with the specific contents of Physical Education. However, the teacher's training directly influences the way he will do this intertwining.Item Abordagens de questões étnico-raciais nas aulas de educação física(2021-11-30) Araújo, José Wagner de Lima; Paiva, Andréa Carla de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1546386833032185; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0485749609983259This work sought to understand the contributions of ethnic-racial relations approaches in Physical Education classes for the anti-racist training of students. Our object of study is the position of Support Agent for Special School Development, for being a new position in the Municipal Network of Education of the City of Recife. The choice of the theme Special Agent for Support to Special School Development – SEDSA: a professional of the education from multiple perspectives, emerges from the reflection on my field of professional performance, since I find myself performing this function, and from the observation of the professional exercise in that same field in others educational units, which raised the possibility of seeking responses backed by the scientific rigor of the field of research, such as: Being a new position in the public school system of the city of Recife, what is the perception that SEDSA has of its own performance? What is the perception of the other professionals who are directly connected to the SEDSA in the school environment, do they have this new position? We then draw as a general objective to identify the perception that the SEDSA and those who are directly linked to it, in the exercise of its function, have on its performance. We also sought to verify the main difficulties encountered by SEDSA in its support to students with disabilities, and also to present the perceptions of the research subjects, in a quantitative way, based on the information provided by them, and then make inferences of a qualitative nature. Our research is of a qualitative and quantitative nature, a characteristic that is configured in the scope of methodological course adopted which contemplates content analysis as a treatment procedure of the data collected. The research carried out brought us some surprising results, related to the performance of the SEDSA in the pedagogical area; the precarious training of teachers in the exercise of teaching in Special Education, teachers who do not work in specialized school attendance, among others. Finally, we made our final considerations discussing some of the problems and discrepancies found in the search results. Based on the findings, this study does not pretend to present itself as ready and finished, but rather instigates new concerns, new responses to the same concerns with the prospect of feeding other relevant studies to the analysis of this post, which, because it is new in public teaching networks, suggests a certain novelty as a fertile field to epistemological discoveries related to the pedagogical, sociological and political field of the formation of cadres for action in the educational sector.Item Análise das expectativas de aprendizagem do conteúdo jogo entre discentes do 3º ano do ensino médio em uma escola de referência em ensino médio na cidade de Tracunhaém: um estudo de caso(2019-07-22) Silva, Dailson Carlos de Oliveira; Costa, Marcos André Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2739394540779281; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6815313906220066The game is part of the five major contents of the physical education curriculum component. Throughout its history the game had different purposes and purposes according to the time and society and we can see that its relationship with education is strongly related to early childhood education, but it is important for other age groups in what concerns the education. In the state of Pernambuco, the game is understood as a component of body culture to be worked on in physical education classes. For the third year of high school, students are expected to understand the game and be able to reflect, perceive, understand and explain common and regular properties about the object. A case study was conducted at a High School Reference School in the city of Tracunhaém with the objective of investigating the comprehension of the game content in high school, according to learning expectations and it was found that 90% of the students of the 3rd had classes of PE in elementary school, 91% studied game content in PE classes 99% answered that they have or had classes about game in high school, these students answered that the most used strategy during classes was the use of slides and that sports games was the most worked during the classes. When questions referred to expectations 57% answered that they could produce texts about the game, 80% could differentiate the concepts of different games, 91% understood the concepts of victory and defeat within the games, 76% answered that they understood the importance of practice. for health and 91% answered that they understood the importance for leisure and work. The school where the research was conducted proved to be able to meet the expectations of the documents for the E.F. in Pernambuco, even with structural limitations, but we cannot say that this is a reality of all schools in the state school system.Item Análise de 96 planos de aula do Programa Segundo Tempo Paradesporto: um estudo qualitativo(2021-07-16) Lira, Danielle Cristhiane de; Pirauá, André Luiz Torres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7971412342122230; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7986132034913572The preparation of the lesson plan involves a series of actions that need to be structured through planning. These actions ensure the encouragement and progression of the student during the activities, promoting the development of learning. For the elaboration of a lesson plan for people with disabilities, one must think about the strategies that can be put into practice and making the application of this plan more flexible, as well as the limitations and needs of these students. Therefore, the present work had as general objective to analyze, from the perspective of the extension monitor, the challenges and possibilities during the process of elaboration and application of the lesson plans in the Programa Segundo Tempo Paradesporto. Finally, this work proposes that professionals who study and materialize curricula can deepen their knowledge on these themes and, based on this research, reflect and rethink curriculum construction, whether in basic education, undergraduate, or postgraduate studies.Item Associação entre a prática de atividades físicas, fatores sociodemográficos e psicossociais relacionados à escola: estudo de base populacional(2019-02-07) Oliveira, Tuillamys Virgínio de; Tassitano, Rafael Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8162584900913172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5951436478319151Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases - NCDs are a growing disease each year, accounting for 63% of the 36 million deaths worldwide. With a view to reducing the alarming numbers of deaths caused by NCDs, WHO has issued a report on measures to prevent and reduce the number of deaths caused by major NCDs, heart diseases, stroke, pneumopathies, cancer, diabetes and sedentary lifestyle. There are studies that prove that the physical activity is directly related to the decrease of the contraction of these diseases. Therefore, actions should be developed to encourage the practice of physical activity focusing on the individual and his environment, especially in the period of childhood and adolescence. Studies based on behavior change theories are more effective in understanding and intervening in populations at risk. For this study, the Transtheoric model was used to explain how individuals adopt new behaviors, divided into five stages (1) Pre-Contemplation, (2) Contemplation, (3) Preparation, (4) Action, (5) Maintenance. The objective of the present study was to associate the sociodemographic and psychosocial determinants related to the practice of physical activities in adolescents of the high school of the state of Pernambuco, through an epidemiological study of school base and state scope, the population covered adolescents from 14 to 19 years of age both sexes, enrolled in public secondary schools, in total were 734 schools distributed in the 16 Regional Education Offices (GREs) in the five regions of the state of Pernambuco. The results showed a high rate of female students in the Pre-Contemplation stage (65.6%), and a low percentage in the Maintenance stage (32%), different from the male students who presented a low percentage in the Pre-Contemplation stage (34,4%), and a high percentage in Maintenance stage (68%), showing more active. However, in general it was possible to observe a large percentage of students enrolled in high school in the Pre-Contemplation stage, being physically inactive and not intending to change their behavior. With this, it is necessary to create policies that favor the access of these students to places conducive to the practice of physical activities, in addition to the use of physical education as a tool for critical awareness of the adoption of a stable of active and healthy life.Item Associação entre índice de massa corporal e sonolência diurna excessiva em estudantes do Ensino Médio(2019-02-18) Lima, Antonio Luis Rosa; Lima, Anna Myrna Jaguaribe de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6743434574905339; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7200102963728117There is a relationship between increasing body mass index (BMI) and decreasing sleep quality in the population, generating several health and social problems such as hypertension, diabetes, sleep apnea, depression, excessive daytime sleepiness, school learning deficit and traffic-accidents. This study aims to determine the relationship between body mass index and the presence of excessive daytime sleepiness in high school students of a state school in Pernambuco. This is a quantitative study, with field research and questionnaire application, with transversal observational character. A total of 196 1st, 2nd and 3rd year high school students, aged between 16 and 40 years, were evaluated, and weight and height data were collected, BMI was calculated. A Questionnaire to assess the presence of excessive daytime sleepiness (Epworth Sleepiness Scale) was applied to the students. The results showed that of the 196 students, 88 (44.9%) were men and 108 (55.1%) were women. The BMI was 22.87 kg / m2 (20.11-26.55 kg / m2). The students' height was 1.65 m (1.60-1.71m). According to our results, there was no correlation between the Epworth sleepiness score and the BMI of the high school students (p <0.738, r = 0.024). There was also no association between excessive daytime sleepiness and the gender of high school students (p <0.137). However, there was an association between excessive daytime sleepiness and the shift studied by high school students (p <0.012). Thus, in the present study, there was no correlation between the Epworth sleepiness score and the BMI of the high school students. We suggest that more studies about sleep and the factors influencing this population of students could be implemented and developed at school, so that education and awareness-raising projects for young people and adolescents related to sleep quality and quality of life, and which may have repercussions on learning.Item Atividade física e funcionalidade da pessoa idosa: influência da pratica de atividade física da pessoa idosa(2019-07-22) Lopes, Sandy Thayna Guedes; Costa, Marcos André Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2739394540779281The aging of a population is due to the increase of people aged 60 years and over and consequently a decline in the number of younger people, ie the Brazilian population is aging because it is decreasing the birth rate in the country and also the mortality rate. Given this, the present research aims to evaluate possible contributions in maintaining balance and flexibility of the elderly through physical activity, as well as: a) Understand concepts and general aspects about aging and physical activity; b) identify factors that influence the process of maintaining the elderly's functional balance and flexibility capabilities; and c) understand conceptual aspects of the assessment tests used in the research. The research took as reference authors such as Gonçalves and Vilarta (2004), Neri and Guariento (2011), Spirdusos (2005), Brito and Litvoc (2004), Birren and Schroots (1996), Shephard (2003), Mazo; Lopes and Benedetti (2001), Gil (2008), Severino (2007) among others to address the questions about aging, physical activity and functional abilities of the elderly. This research is characterized, as the approach, as a quantitative research, with the application of three tests, the first being the physical aptitude for idode (TAFI), then the time up and go (TUG) and finally the short phisical performance. battery (SPPB) so that you can compare the initial results with the final results. A total of fifteen elderly participated in the research, nine women and six men, who did not have regular practice of physical activities. It was held at a time of five weeks in the district of Cordeiro in Recife. The research can find that the regular practice of physical activity for the elderly has brought several benefits for maintaining the flexibility and balance of the elderly person in the neighborhood of Cordeiro.Item Atletismo como conteúdo de ensino da educação física escolar(2024-10-03) Silva, Jefferson Bernardo da; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5927737731170698Athletics represents one of the oldest forms of human expression and competition, playing a fundamental role in the history and culture of various societies around the world. This sport, which encompasses a variety of foundational activities, is not limited to a competitive physical activity and can be considered an educational alternative to standardized conventional sports in schools. The aim of this study is to analyze the introduction of athletics content in the school environment and how it can contribute to a more comprehensive education for students. Thus, based on the relevance of the sport as a systematized content and educational tool, the study seeks to analyze pedagogical alternatives for teaching this content, considering its historical, cultural, and social aspects as presented in the literature, as well as its associated benefits. The methodology used was qualitative bibliographic research. In addition, the study analyzed seven works in different contexts related to school athletics from the collection available on the CAPES Journals platform. After a detailed analysis of the data and articles, it was found that athletics as a school subject faces recurring challenges in the teaching and learning process, but it should still be implemented in schools as it remains a valuable tool for the holistic development of students, considering its pedagogical potential highlighted in all the works analyzed. Finally, we conclude that the reviewed studies indicate that, when well implemented, athletics contributes to the overall development of students, enhancing physical, cognitive, and social aspects.Item Avaliação da aprendizagem: superando desafios na educação física escolar durante o ensino remoto emergencial(2023-05-04) Almeida, Isabella Maria França Severo de; Paiva, Andréa Carla de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1546386833032185This study aims to analyze the evaluative practice of Physical Education (PE) at school during Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE), verifying which evaluation strategies were used in the pedagogical practice and highlighting the main challenges and possibilities encountered to evaluate student learning. in a remote context. The research was guided by a qualitative approach and carried out based on the action-research method, intending to understand the strategies used to overcome the challenges of assessing learning in school PE during the ERE. To this end, the evaluative practices of the EF curricular component, which occurred during the ERE, in the 3rd two-month period of the 2021 school year, in a 9th grade class of Elementary School II, of a Federal Public School, were considered, through observations and interventions carried out for the discipline of Mandatory Supervised Internship III, of the Degree in Physical Education at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). From the studies, it was possible to perceive how much the evaluation of learning is a complex process and how it becomes even more complex when brought to the school PE, due to the specificities and the difficulty of the area in legitimizing itself as a curricular component in the school. However, it was found with the research that it is possible to overcome the challenges of the existing evaluation, in addition to those resulting from the ERE, using strategies such as the diversification of techniques, instruments and criteria to evaluate the students' learning, considering them diverse subjects, with different cognitive, affective and sociocultural abilities. Therefore, the research collaborated for the development of knowledge about the evaluation of learning in school PE in remote teaching, showing the possibilities of planning and carrying out an intentional evaluative practice in this context, an evaluation that evaluates in a continuous, procedural, qualitative and that, above all, consider the student as an integral being, understanding him in his entirety and from his reality, and more, that is based on consolidated theories and methodologies, such as the Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the Critical-Overcoming Pedagogy.Item A avaliação do ensino-aprendizagem escolar: possibilidades nas aulas de Educação Física(2022-10-10) Souza, Sérgio Henrique de Oliveira; Paiva, Andréa Carla de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1546386833032185This study focused on the analysis of the evaluation of the teaching-learning process in Physical Education classes, so that the teacher understands the evaluation processes, identifying their theoretical-methodological foundations and their didactic possibilities for classes at school, collaborating with the teacher to measure how the sense-meaning of the contents reached the student, so that he/she evolves as a person and as a citizen, thus reaching a critical reflection of the reality in which he/she is, providing greater connection between teacher, content and student, in a profound and at the same time transparent, assimilable and concrete way. The research was carried out from the qualitative method, in particular, a bibliographic review, being developed during the discipline of Mandatory Supervised Internship III in Physical Education - Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), held in a 9th grade class of Elementary School of Pernambuco.
