(2022-06-16) Silva, Raguiara Primo da; Silva, Sidney Marinho da; Silva, José Ronaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3714905065293466; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0241880242719794; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7093318042940796
Since the dawn of humanity, man has wondered about the possibility of extraterrestrial life and the functioning of the universe. The emergence of new telescopes and technological advances generate public interest in exoplanets, planets that are not in our Solar System and the ancient possibility of life on one of them. The great difficulty of educators and scientists today is to overcome the barrier of academia to bring scientific knowledge in a simplified way to elementary and high school students, as well as to the general population. In order to popularize science, this work aims to create an ebook, in novel format, that tells the story of Toin, an 18-year-old boy who travels through the Brazilian northeast to find out if there really is life in other planets. Toin, as Antônio is called by friends and family, travels through three northeastern states and lives surprising adventures in search of answers to his existential questions. Toin has an in-depth knowledge of public institutions forgotten by a large part of the Brazilian population. The methodology used was to organize scientific concepts hierarchically under a mental map, to transpose scientific knowledge about exoplanets into a story told. The story involves characters common to the scenarios of northeastern cities, so a sheet was made with data from all the characters in the novel. With this didactic product it is expected to contribute to the popularization of astronomy and overcome the barriers of academia.

This research aims to contribute in practice to the teaching and learning of astronomy and to provide basic education teachers with a reflection on their pedagogical practices in the face of the current way in which Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) are advancing in teaching and learning processes. We developed an educational product in the form of computer simulation and lesson plan, using the digital tool Scratch. This work is based on one of the practical needs of astronomy teaching: the use of simulations to teach some abstract concept, and on concepts such as Virtual Learning Objects (OVA). This research is also supported by what the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) says about the use of TDICs in basic education. We explain some examples of possibilities for building simulations on astronomy and present the actions and commands needed to build the simulation of the educational product using Scratch. Reference academic works on the use of the Scratch digital tool in astronomy teaching were researched.

This work presents the possibilities of using software and applications in the teaching of Astronomy, with emphasis on technical and pedagogical information, which often do not reach the teacher. In order to provide the teacher with the opportunity to learn more about these digital tools and provide meaningful learning, the main objective of the study was to produce a didactic guide, as a pedagogical mediation instrument, containing software and applications to be used in the teaching of Astronomy. The research contemplated a qualitative approach. The universe of study involved a search on the internet, through published works, websites and app stores for mobile devices, through the definition of criteria, which made it possible to choose the applications to be included in the didactic guide. The official documents guiding the construction of school curricula were taken into account throughout the construction of the didactic guide. The applications chosen to compose the educational product were Daff Lua, Star Walk 2 and Stellarium. The analysis proposed an evaluation of the applications, presenting factors such as: type of device; operational system; license type; need for internet access; hardware usage and average rating. It was observed the potential of these digital resources for use in the teaching of Astronomy, at different levels of education, providing a more interactive, playful and facilitating learning environment.

(2022-06-13) Nascimento, Robson Lima Pereira do; Nascimento, Rogério Lima do; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0328312194273300; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0190171912727049
Official documents such as the BNCC indicate the paths to be followed in basic education in our country, reinforcing the need for integrative activities that engage and motivate students, preparing them to live in such a complex world. The teaching of astronomy has been recommended by such documents given its potential, both for the fascination it causes in most people but also for its interdisciplinary and can be approached in any scientific discipline. Thus, in this research, a didactic sequence (SD) was analyzed that constitutes the educational product, with the objective of verifying its contribution to the teaching of the terrestrial magnetic field, using Terrell, which constitutes a historical experimental model of the Earth. To this end, we start by highlighting the relevance of astronomy teaching at BNCC, and how researchers refer to the use of didactic sequences within a differentiated teaching context. The application of SD with the students proved to be quite fruitful, contributing to the reduction of the abstraction of the concept of terrestrial magnetic field in a playful and pleasant way.

Study Astronomy is an interdisciplinary task, which involves several areas of science. During the stages of Basic Education, contact with this discipline can arouse interest in young people for professional careers related to Science and Technology. Despite its importance, the teaching of astronomy in schools is still deficient, either due to the lack of observation of the night sky as a practical activity or by the poor training of teachers. In front of the post, the creation of astronomy clubs collaborates with teaching-learning in the classroom, providing various activities that provoke critical-reflective thinking in the participants and help with the formation of citizenship. This article aims to create an application for mobile platform as an educational product that will be used by creators / managers of astronomy clubs. A checklist application will be created, where the club manager, even if a beginner in the task, has guidance and support for the application of activities, step by step, on the operation of an Astronomy club. The application was produced using the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MIT App Inventor platform, a programming tool that programmers can build blockable applications without computer training required. It is expected that the application called "AstroGestor" developed will be available and free for all those interested in creating astronomy clubs in Brazil, being able to act as an electronic taskbook and easily accessible, which can help individuals in the procedures of astronomy club activities.

(2022-06-09) Silva, José Ewerton da; Henrique, Mariana Alves; Leite, Bruno Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4932752031807872; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3375067276397113; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6546177378625414
Understanding the Universe that surrounds us is a great challenge and it is through education that we can interact with this reality. Awakening the interest of students in Sciences such as Astrochemistry has been a challenge and the lack of knowledge in this area has brought consequences for our society, because it is through Astrochemistry that we have knowledge that space is full of molecules and that many molecules of planet Earth were formed in space. Astrochemistry is a multidisciplinary science that studies atoms, molecules and chemical reactions in outer space, as well as understanding the evolution and chemical composition of the universe, the chemical phenomena that take place in space. In view of these difficulties, the present work aims to develop a didactic strategy for using an application in the teaching and learning process of Astrochemistry. Currently, the use of digital technologies (DT) is becoming increasingly popular and many people have access to smartphones and the internet, making this resource even more accessible for educational purposes in the teaching-learning process. The developed application, called AstroQuímica, was created with the help of the “app factories” platform known as Fabapp. AstroQuímica is an application of chemical knowledge related to Astronomy that aims to provide content and curiosities about the Chemistry of the universe. In the application, in addition to contributing to the study of this Science, it makes it possible to check your knowledge with questions about Astrochemistry. In order to obtain a more effective result in solving problems faced by basic education teachers, a didactic sequence (SD) was developed as a proposal for using the application.

The constellations instigate curiosity, especially when they are observed from the perspective of the set of legends and myths arising from their nomenclatures, which is why the Teaching of Astronomy directed to the school context becomes viable. In this sense, this research sought to present a proposal for the construction of a didactic-pedagogical material for students and teachers working in Basic Education, in the format of a script for the elaboration of comics, entitled: “The journey of Orion and the birth of the constellations”, using the language of Greco-Roman mythology to understand the origin of the constellations, with emphasis on those easily observed in the sky of Pernambuco and region. In this way, we sought to insert the abstract language of Greek and Roman myths for the origin of the constellations, in order to incorporate elements related to Astronomy in the conceptual structure of the students, based on the work developed with the use of comic books. Therefore, it is expected that the educational product, represented by the aforementioned script, involving the mythological characters, can offer theoretical and practical subsidies for teachers to develop relevant themes in the field of Astronomy Teaching, providing them with educational situations of creation in different ways of media, such as comic books, cartoons, theater and others.
