Item Abordagem ativa para o ensino da astronomia: o caso das fases da lua(2022-06-07) Silva, Gleydson Patricio de Souza; Matias, Marcelo Pereira; Tenório, Alexandro Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6169033174942344; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1749867373338081; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7891673760826772In the present work we will deal with an active methodology model used for the teaching of astronomy, especially for the moon phases. It was also analyzed how to use the method to obtain better results in the performance of the teaching-learning process. Given that active methodologies are a possibility for traditional methods recognized by the substantially transmissive process in which the teacher is the center of the process. This was accomplished through a methodological proposal that targets the 2nd year of high school and was experienced from a workshop as a tool in the teaching process learning the contents. The approach presented here is based on the contemporary understanding of science, through observation, research and practice in which we seek through the ludicity to make the teaching of Astronomy more attractive, pleasurable and meaningful to our students.Item Uma abordagem sobre eventos da astronomia em Pernambuco: uma proposta de sequência didática para o ensino médio(2022-06-21) Oliveira, Cirano Lopes de; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; Silva, Ana Paula Teixeira Bruno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7567099861370352; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7450361249159691This work presents an educational product, whose main objective is to propose a didactic sequence, in script format, as a pedagogical mediation instrument, based on themes of events related to Astronomy, which took place in the state of Pernambuco. The methodology adopted included a qualitative approach, of the bibliographic type, carried out in books, sites on the world wide web and scientific articles, which dealt with historical facts and astronomical events, such as: the Dutch occupation in the state of Pernambuco; the discovery of comet Olinda; the observation of the Transit of Venus and the falls of meteors that occurred in the municipalities of Serra do Magé, Vicência and Santa Filomena, in Pernambuco. Thus, we propose a didactic sequence, considering the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), in the area of Natural Sciences and its Technologies, focusing on the development of skills and abilities. We hope that the educational product can contribute to the learning of historical facts and concepts of astronomical events, enabling a better understanding of historical events and astronomy, contributing to the construction of scientific knowledge.Item Álbum seriado digital: a vida do homem no espaço(2022-06-18) Medeiros, Cássio Ilan Soares; Souza, Clélio da Cruz; Rabelo, Aneide Rocha de Marcos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2136615453127457; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8590710302894569; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5284500502587627Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences of humanity, being part of the curiosity of common sense and is among the topics that most arouse the interest of young people aged 15 years old, which corresponds to the public that typically starts high school in Brazil. As it is a popular and recognizably founding theme of modern scientific thought, several countries include it in their science curricula. Therefore, with the objective of knowing the complex relationship of man's life in space, it was proposed the elaboration of an interdisciplinary digital serial album with a transversal character in which it is composed of nine themes elaborated based on the competences of several areas of knowledge recommended by the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC). In this way, the digital serial album constitutes an alternative way of working the basic content linked to the knowledge necessary for the formation of the student as a citizen. In addition to considering the diversity of students and their contexts, as well as the need to equip the teacher to handle the different demands that arise in this teaching-learning path, in the national scenario.Item Analema solar: uma sequência didática na construção e embasamento do que permeia no movimento aparente do Sol(2022-06-09) Araújo, Maria de Fátima Lima de; Gonçalves, Rosiberto dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4542964526401859; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3561385306324256The celestial observation brought to humanity information that changed certain aspects influencing the format and way of life of society. Specifically, the understanding of daytime sky phenomena contributed to such consolidation. Despite this, over time this information on the celestial positions of the stars became obsolete, leaving serious damages in the perpetuation of this knowledge. In this context, this work proposes the construction of a didactic sequence for 2nd year high school students at ETE Miguel Batista in an attempt to contribute and disseminate this knowledge. The educational product was designed in five stages that make up a didactic sequence, thus developing a case study with pedagogical action. Through readings, debates, virtual and physical experiments, those involved in this proposal were able to build and remodel concepts about Observational Astronomy, rediscovering the celestial horizon without just appreciating it superficially. The importance of experiencing each phase, in their respective orders, is highlighted for a better construction and identification of the main object of study, which was the Analemma.Item Análise da abordagem do conteúdo sistema solar no 9º ano do ensino fundamental (anos finais) na fala de professores(2022-07-30) Almeida, Jeferson José dos Santos; Gonçalves, Paula Cristina da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6221874223227758; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8515312342571982The present work aims to analyze the didactization of the Solar System content approach from the speech of two Science teachers from the 9th year of Elementary School (Final Years). For this, we propose to teachers a form with 8 essay questions, in order to identify the challenges of approaching the Solar System content. After the analysis, it was possible to infer that there are similar and specific challenges faced by both teachers. In this perspective, we seek to reflect on possible didactic proposals and methodologies in order to try to help teachers and reduce the problems experienced by them. The research is anchored in the theoretical assumptions defended by Langhi and Nardi (2005), Lima (2018), Hetem & Pereira (2010) and Gomes (2017), also the BNCC (2017) the PCN Sciences (1997) and the Curriculum of Pernambuco (2019). We still use the intellectual contributions of Cecatto (2011), Picazzio (2014), Borges and Hyoshida (2018) and França et al. (2017). The corpus of the work consists of the speech of a teacher from the private school system and the other from the state public network, both from the municipality of Itaquitinga - PE. From the teachers' speech, it was possible to interpret that both feel methodological difficulties arising from their academic training, because they claim that they were not oriented to teach Solar System and subjects that refer to Astronomy in Basic Education. In addition, one of the teachers declared that his school lacks technological subsidies and this, for him, causes a difficulty in mediation of content. In this light, we seek methodologies and didactic proposals that circumvent the problems presented by the teachers and we realize that among the perspectives investigated, those that offer better applicability in view of the reality faced by the teachers interviewed are those that favor a playful approach to content. Item Análise financeira entre comprar, montar ou fazer um telescópio(2022-07-07) Donato, Felipe José Virgínio; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101This work proposes a financial analysis among the existing possibilities to acquire a telescope and has as purpose to assist teachers, schools, astronomy clubs, amateur astronomers, beginners in astronomy, everyone who wishes to have one. A brief history of how the reflector telescope appeared in astronomy shows the advantages over the refractor scope and that other designs were projected by astronomers and mathematicians before Newton get to build the first reflector example. It was also raised how optical instruments are useful in a variety of educational activities in and outside school, providing most of the times the experience of observing through a telescope for the first time ever. In this research three scenarios were analyzed: buy a telescope, assemble or make one – which differs from assemble by manufacturing most of components. The data of values of the telescopes and of its components were collected in popular astronomy sites and others general e-commerces. To manufacture some parts such as the focuser and mirror support, for example, it is basically used PVC material, wood, screws and nuts, which were budgeted in a local warehouse. Fortunately, it has a simple mechanics which allow an amateur construction get a really close image quality from a factory made one. However, there are glass made parts too complicated to make, such as the mirrors and oculars. Manufacture them requests a specific machinery for the various steps of glass treatment, and also ability to make them perfect in all their aspects, once a good image is the result of accurate measurements of light-conducting components. For this reason, it was researched the costs to buy the mirrors and oculars to compose all the scenarios. After collecting all data, set up the scenarios were compared, making a telescope proved to be the cheapest way to acquire one.Item AstroGestor, um aplicativo checklist(2022-06-15) Costa, José Iago Matheus Barbosa; Coutinho, Nicolle Cabral; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; Leão, Renata Sá Carneiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9253144963508579; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8777428923521869; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4536582058890010Study Astronomy is an interdisciplinary task, which involves several areas of science. During the stages of Basic Education, contact with this discipline can arouse interest in young people for professional careers related to Science and Technology. Despite its importance, the teaching of astronomy in schools is still deficient, either due to the lack of observation of the night sky as a practical activity or by the poor training of teachers. In front of the post, the creation of astronomy clubs collaborates with teaching-learning in the classroom, providing various activities that provoke critical-reflective thinking in the participants and help with the formation of citizenship. This article aims to create an application for mobile platform as an educational product that will be used by creators / managers of astronomy clubs. A checklist application will be created, where the club manager, even if a beginner in the task, has guidance and support for the application of activities, step by step, on the operation of an Astronomy club. The application was produced using the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MIT App Inventor platform, a programming tool that programmers can build blockable applications without computer training required. It is expected that the application called "AstroGestor" developed will be available and free for all those interested in creating astronomy clubs in Brazil, being able to act as an electronic taskbook and easily accessible, which can help individuals in the procedures of astronomy club activities.Item Astrolábio e Gnômon: construção de instrumentos astronômicos proposta de uma sequência didática(2022-06-07) Silva, Rogerio José Veloso da; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0120978814828307The teaching resources in the classroom are increasingly evolving with the advancement of new technologies. However the "hands on" is still a way to contribute to the construction of knowledge in a meaningful and enjoyable way. In this way, this work brings a proposal for a didactic sequence that presents the step by step of how the use of recycled materials in the construction of astronomical instruments Astrolabes and Gnomon, can be used as a didactic resource to present the concepts of astronomy, mathematics, physics and related sciences. Starting from the natural principle that humanity has made observations through the naked eye since prehistoric times, obtaining notes with the perception of the periodicity of celestial phenomena, which they used to measure time, know the planting and harvest season and guide in the maritime exploration, the present work comes to show the construction of astro-nomical instruments: Astrolabe and Gnomon, as well as a little of their history and their im-portance to assist in the observations of celestial phenomena in the pedagogical context. To better understand the astronomical instruments Astrolabes and Gnomon, a brief summary of the emergence of astronomy is necessary.Item Astronomia e arte: ação pedagógica de ensino da astronomia por meio da arte, utilizando softwares de edição de imagens(2022-06-15) Praxedes, Jamerson Lopes; Lira, Rafael Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4601784121439123; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6779751158110343This research discusses the relationship between Astronomy and Art, carrying out a workshop whose main purpose is to spread the teaching of Astronomy through Art in a playful and interactive way, using image editing software. As the teaching of Astronomy is still little explored in educational institutions, in this context, we developed a pedagogical action of teaching Astronomy through Visual Arts, to be applied remotely. Therefore, this research has as an investigative question: How can we teach Astronomy through Art? With this, our general objective is to "Execute a pedagogical action of teaching Astronomy through the Visual Arts, using image editing software". Then we carried out theoretical studies on art teaching, astronomy teaching and image editing software. In addition, we identified themes such as Artistic exhibition in teaching aid.Item Astronomia tátil e audível: o ensino da astronomia para alunos com deficiência visual(2022-06-18) Melo, Alain Prost Silva de; Guedes, Leandro Ferreira; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; Silva, Ana Paula Teixeira Bruno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7567099861370352; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1088768516415033; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3110884262014794This research aims to provide a tool that serves as pedagogical support to teachers in the teaching of Astronomy in basic education, directed mainly to students with visual impairment (low vision or blindness). To this end, a bibliographic survey of articles and scientific papers on current indices of the Brazilian population with visual impairment, inclusive educational legislation and the teaching of Astronomy for visually impaired students was initially carried out. Then, as a practical stage of our research, astronomy-themed maquets were constructed using materials of various textures that stimulate touch. In these maquetes were also used subtitles in Braille and Portuguese language, aiming at identification both for students with blindness or low vision, as for seers. Podcasts were also made available through QR Codes in the maquee, with quick and objective explanations about the maquetes in question. At the end, an educational product was elaborated a teaching support guide for teachers, which contains the description of the construction of some models, suggestions of materials that can be used in it and suggestion of applications for recording podcasts.Item Carta solar e relógio de sol como recursos didáticos para o ensino de astronomia(2022-06-11) Alves, Crelison Nelson Hermenegildo; Silva, Gilvan Francisco da; Rodrigues, Sara Cristina Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3203651092650480; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0645929440091676; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7423146956315419Item Cosmovisões etnoastronômicas Xukuru do Ororubá(2022-06-14) Frazão, Átila da Silva; Coimbra, Ana Carolina Gomes; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1535642930990266; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1329053949159338The research/product “Xukuru do Ororubá Ethnoastronomic Cosmovisions” proposes to study the practices and experiences of the Xukuru do Ororubá (PE) indigenous people from Ethnoastronomy and correlating with Agriculture through ancestral knowledge and spirituality such as: the Reading of the Bar of the Year, observation of the phases of the moon for planting, harvesting and raising animals, observation of bees, ants, birds and plants in terms of rainfall; the association with the ritualistic practices of the people; and how the Academy can discuss and study the theme, spanning from Basic Education to Higher Education in the light of specific pedagogical practices that dialogue with the institutions' curriculum, bringing notes of the indigenous school education Xukuru do Ororubá and Bem Viver. Methodologically using qualitative research, indigenous leaders and people residing in the territory were heard, considering their knowledge and dialoguing with decolonial practices, resulting in a paradidactic book as an educational product.Item Desenvolvimento e utilização de aplicativos para ensino de astroquímica(2022-06-09) Silva, José Ewerton da; Henrique, Mariana Alves; Leite, Bruno Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4932752031807872; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3375067276397113; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6546177378625414Understanding the Universe that surrounds us is a great challenge and it is through education that we can interact with this reality. Awakening the interest of students in Sciences such as Astrochemistry has been a challenge and the lack of knowledge in this area has brought consequences for our society, because it is through Astrochemistry that we have knowledge that space is full of molecules and that many molecules of planet Earth were formed in space. Astrochemistry is a multidisciplinary science that studies atoms, molecules and chemical reactions in outer space, as well as understanding the evolution and chemical composition of the universe, the chemical phenomena that take place in space. In view of these difficulties, the present work aims to develop a didactic strategy for using an application in the teaching and learning process of Astrochemistry. Currently, the use of digital technologies (DT) is becoming increasingly popular and many people have access to smartphones and the internet, making this resource even more accessible for educational purposes in the teaching-learning process. The developed application, called AstroQuímica, was created with the help of the “app factories” platform known as Fabapp. AstroQuímica is an application of chemical knowledge related to Astronomy that aims to provide content and curiosities about the Chemistry of the universe. In the application, in addition to contributing to the study of this Science, it makes it possible to check your knowledge with questions about Astrochemistry. In order to obtain a more effective result in solving problems faced by basic education teachers, a didactic sequence (SD) was developed as a proposal for using the application.Item Do cinema para a astronomia: roteiro de curta-metragem documental, sobre observação do céu noturno para a formação docente do ensino da astronomia e ciências afins, O Céu Noturno de Itacuruba - Pernambuco, 2022(2022-06-18) Pereira, Íris Samandhi Costa; Rodrigues, Teresinha de Jesus Alvarenga; Lima, Rafael Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0447358942103110; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8579309443127499This work proposes the realization of a short film script as an educational product on observing the night sky and light pollution, including interviews and testimonials responsible for the operation of the Astronomical Observatory of Sertão de Itaparica – OASI. Using an expository and poetic narrative of cinema, it is expected to contribute to the formation continuing teacher in the Teaching of Astronomy and Related Sciences. The movie script comes with the title “The night sky of Itacuruba – Pernambuco, 2022, which will be recorded in Itacuruba, municipality of São Francisco Pernambucano, Microregion of Itaparica, in the State of Pernambuco. The methodology used in this work involves a bibliographic research on the art of cinema as an instrument of formation and motivation for the teaching activity and a research field where we seek to validate the techniques of visual reproduction for teacher training. You results show that about 97% of respondents, who were student teachers from the Specialization Course in Teaching Astronomy and Related Sciences, at UFRPE, affirmed the importance of a short film about the observation of the night sky, among other astronomy topics and their relevance for teaching. In order to achieve the objective proposed in this work – the production of a 22-minute documentary video – the following were still carried out: recording of videos with professionals responsible for the operation of the OASI through structured questionnaires and the elaboration of a cinema script, expository and poetic, about “O Céu de Itacuruba” with its stages of: pre-production, production, finalization, editing and editing.Item Exoplaneta: um texto paradidático para divulgação científica utilizando a linguagem popular nordestina(2022-06-16) Silva, Raguiara Primo da; Silva, Sidney Marinho da; Silva, José Ronaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3714905065293466; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0241880242719794; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7093318042940796Since the dawn of humanity, man has wondered about the possibility of extraterrestrial life and the functioning of the universe. The emergence of new telescopes and technological advances generate public interest in exoplanets, planets that are not in our Solar System and the ancient possibility of life on one of them. The great difficulty of educators and scientists today is to overcome the barrier of academia to bring scientific knowledge in a simplified way to elementary and high school students, as well as to the general population. In order to popularize science, this work aims to create an ebook, in novel format, that tells the story of Toin, an 18-year-old boy who travels through the Brazilian northeast to find out if there really is life in other planets. Toin, as Antônio is called by friends and family, travels through three northeastern states and lives surprising adventures in search of answers to his existential questions. Toin has an in-depth knowledge of public institutions forgotten by a large part of the Brazilian population. The methodology used was to organize scientific concepts hierarchically under a mental map, to transpose scientific knowledge about exoplanets into a story told. The story involves characters common to the scenarios of northeastern cities, so a sheet was made with data from all the characters in the novel. With this didactic product it is expected to contribute to the popularization of astronomy and overcome the barriers of academia.Item Flex-Astro: recurso educacional para o ensino da astrobiologia na educação básica(2022-06-04) Souza, João Batista de; Lima, Victor Hugo Moreira de; Rodrigues, Sara Cristina Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3203651092650480; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6259720330130203Information and Communication Technologies allow quick access to a large number of information, however the amount and ease of obtaining information do not imply constructed knowledge. Based on this premise, there are some didactic strategies that aim to guide students to use technological resources, such as the internet, in the learning process, including FlexQuest. In this sense, the present study aimed to produce a FlexQuest aimed at teaching astrobiology based on the principle of the Theory of Meaningful Learning. The intervention was divided into two meetings, totaling 4 hours/class. The research was applied at ECITE Luiz Gonzaga Burity, in the municipality of Ingá, State of Paraíba, for 2nd grade high school students. The result of the FlexQuest application developed was carried out in the light of the analysis of pre- and post-test questionnaires, to categorize students' knowledge and map possible changes in their learning. By analyzing the questionnaires, it can be inferred that the proposal developed provided the students with a better performance. In this way, FlexQuest was a didactic resource that contributed to the construction of knowledge in Basic Education students through potentially significant learning.Item Fundamentos da astronomia e meteorologia para o ensino fundamental e médio(2022-06-11) Farias, Ricardo da Silva; Almeida, Zalmon Carneiro de; Rabelo, Aneide Rocha de Marcos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2136615453127457; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7750434685370733; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3500048957526705Thiscourse concussion work presents a proposal in teaching related to various disciplines, which highlights mathematics, geography, physics, history, which aims to facilitate interdisciplinary understanding using a single poio material. It presents an overview of the difficultyfaced by students and teachers in relation to understanding, linking information, of the themes presented in the attached material. Materials containing theoriesand investigative activities in the classroom were elaborated in a contextualized manner, including the use, in some cases, recyclable materials. In this way this material comes as a suggestion of paradidactic, which can be used by self-taught students and teachers, collaborating with their continued training.Item A gasificação como tecnologia disruptiva em sala de aula em vista a compreensão do diagrama de Hertzsprung Russell(2022-06-20) Sá, Maximiliano Freitas de; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8850023711264946Gamification is being used every day for educational and commercial purposes, as it allows the use of advanced computational resources to perceive a new reality, thus promoting the engagement of participants, allowing innovations in the classroom. In essence, it involves the development of models and simulations to understand in a practical and participatory way the exposed content, through the elements and objects developed in games, with the aim of better learning. Disruptive technology follows from a new technological perspective, in view of a new approach that has significantly revolutionized, whether in the market, product or service. The present work aims to develop a research from authors who validate the use of gamification and analyze the applicability of its use, through a game through the Educaplay platform, with items designed to understand the diagram by Hertzsprung Russell. Using qualitative and bibliographic research, in view of the proposed educational product, the product harmonizes with theories that take into account gamification, so through this, the product can be a way to circumvent the lack of teaching materials through the use of of the computer in the teaching of Astronomy? From this, the principle of using gamification to understand the Hertzsprung Russell diagram is presented. It provides here to corroborate proposals for virtual experiments through an environment with interactivity. Through bibliographic research, it is evidenced that, with the inclusion of a gamification platform, it promotes elaborate, engaged and constructive methodological constructions, with this the game proposes to promote and attribute to an educational practice.Item Guia didático para iniciantes em astronomia(2022-06-11) Silva, Erika Gracyele da; Araújo, Matheus Levy Costa Viana de; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1237022223714693The didatic guide "A Beginner's Guide to Astronomy: First Steps to Observing the Constellations" is an instructional material that aims to serve as support material for high school classes, as well as a manual for astronomical amateur use. Though any reader, having access, can easily read and understand the knowledge brought and perform their activities. Its proposal is also linked to offering low-cost material to be accessible to all people, regardless of socioeconomic class. The guide consists of orientations for observing the sky with the naked eye, reading external materials and questions arising from the theme about understanding the universe, information about geographic location in the terrestrial sphere, characteristics and differences between stars and stars, position of the constellations, etc. In the process of elaborating the guide, the following steps were carried out: recording the themes, textual research, graphic design, illustrations, pedagogical resources and technological resources. It can be concluded that the guide can be used as a pedagogical material in the school context due to its interdisciplinary character and critical thinking, being aligned with the new proposals of the BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular) and the new model of school, the New High School, in relation to the teaching of natural sciences. It also presents a simple and fluid reading, with the most current technological resources and the use of application images with the intention of attracting its readers.
