When possible, one should co-relate physical objects with the theory in order to establish a better understanding for the students. Thus, this work uses this argument for its construction and addresses an intimate relationship with the use of physical objects and theory. This work focuses on presenting the teaching and learning process of regular polygons about their symmetry movements. Given in a systematic way, this process is given through the relationship with the theory of dihedral groups and the use of playful materials that permeate children’s daily lives. In particular, such materials are related to the character “Patrick Estrela" from the children’s series “SpongeBob” and a children’s board game called “Gometric board”. Regular polygons but also their characteristics. Speaking of which, a very important characteristic of regular polygons is their invariant form when rotation and reflection movements are applied. Hence, this work uses this property and the physical/playful objects already mentioned to establish a better assimilation in the teaching and learning about regular polygons When formulated, such relationships will be applied in a 6th grade elementary school class, explaining at the end all the results of the intervention.Item Análise de 96 planos de aula do Programa Segundo Tempo Paradesporto: um estudo qualitativo(2021-07-16) Lira, Danielle Cristhiane de; Pirauá, André Luiz Torres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7971412342122230; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7986132034913572The preparation of the lesson plan involves a series of actions that need to be structured through planning. These actions ensure the encouragement and progression of the student during the activities, promoting the development of learning. For the elaboration of a lesson plan for people with disabilities, one must think about the strategies that can be put into practice and making the application of this plan more flexible, as well as the limitations and needs of these students. Therefore, the present work had as general objective to analyze, from the perspective of the extension monitor, the challenges and possibilities during the process of elaboration and application of the lesson plans in the Programa Segundo Tempo Paradesporto. This is a study with a qualitative approach, with a descriptive characteristic, which followed the recommendations of the Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research: A Synthesis of Recommendations. 96 lesson plans were considered, applied during the current period of the PST Paradesporto (February 2019 to March 2020). This study demonstrated that the preparation and application of lesson plans, for people with disabilities, requires greater flexibility in all dimensions of the lesson plan, such as the timing of activities and applied content, as well as in the adaptations of activities, considering the specifics of each disability, the limitations and difficulties of the students.
