The ESO happened in two different campus of UNESP, in the area of Large Animals Surgery at the Botucatu campus and at the Veterinary Ophthalmology service at the Jaboticabal campus. This paper presents the routines and cases followed, whether or not they are surgical, between the months of April and June 2018. Finally, the literature review on Enteral Fluid Therapy in Equines, developed after observation during the interniship. Enteral Fluid Therapy consists the administration of electrolytic solutions in the gastrointestinal tract in order to correct local and systemic imbalances. This technique proves to be an inexpensive and physiologically safe alternative, with few clinical limitations for its application. The accomplishment of this stage allowed me to experience new techniques and behaviors, enriching the knowledge acquired in the undergraduate course.
