Teaching astronomy has great relevance to scientific dissemination. It is possible to mix astronomy education with many other scientific areas, which promotes interdisciplinary teaching. This work's main goal is to analyse the importance of Planetariums as a tool for teaching and dissemination of Astronomy and related sciences. For that, the Espaço Ciência Planetarium (Espaço Ciência is the interactive science museum of the state of Pernambuco) was chosen to conduct research and analysis and, through the results obtained, corroborate its relevance as an important tool for the learning process in the state. Furthermore, this research aims to serve as a support material to public and private institutions (that either teachs or promotes scientific dissemination) to build their Planetariums, arousing the interest and fascination for this area.
