The project, titled "Inventariar Abreu e Lima" ("Inventory Abreu e Lima"), arises from the need to value and preserve the history of the municipality, promoting the connection between the community and its heritage. Heritage Education is seen as an essential tool to address the problem of the lack of institutions that preserve local memory and the population's lack of knowledge about their own history. The article provides an overview of the evolution of Heritage Education in Brazil and analyzes the historical trajectory of Abreu e Lima, from its colonial formation to its emancipation as a municipality. The proposed strategies involve the participation of students, families, and the community in activities such as surveys, collection, source analysis, and dissemination, with the aim of strengthening the cultural identity and sense of belonging among residents. Facing challenges such as the need for resources and institutional support, it is suggested to use funds from the municipality's Aldir Blanc Law to make the project feasible. The conclusion is that Heritage Education can significantly contribute to the development of various spheres of the municipality.Item Populações indígenas no sul de Pernambuco: o caso do Riacho do Mato e da Colônia Socorro (1860 - 1880)(2023-09-20) Ferreira, Ailton Robson de Oliveira; Dantas, Mariana Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8568216121012333; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0537716810045849The main objective of this work is to understand the process of formation and dismantling of the indigenous aldeamento in the Riacho do Mato region between the 1860s and 1880s, located in the south of the province of Pernambuco, close to the border with Alagoas. It is central to the analysis to understand the convergence and interactions between different historical subjects who inhabited or circulated in this territory, indigenous and non-indigenous. After the extinction of the aldeamento of Riacho do Mato, in 1873, the Colônia Socorro was created in the same place to receive migrants from the drought in the interior of the province. Even with a short duration, 1878-1880, the Colônia was the reason for profound transformations in the place due to the entry of thousands of new residents, the restructuring of the territory and public administration.Item Qual é o lugar da história local no Ensino Médio? Considering this, this study aimed to analyze how the theme of local history is approached in the editions of History textbooks. Therefore, we analyzed two collections of the discipline of History selected by the National Textbook Program of 2019. In this study, which is of a qualitative nature, the content analysis of (BARDIN, 2002) was used as a method for data collection. The theoretical survey on this theme is based on the assumptions of many scholars such as Melo (2015), Caimi (2010), Fonseca (2003), Choppin (2004) and Bittencourt (2005). From this investigation, it can be seen that the curricular proposals of the Common National Curriculum Base determine the frequency and the way in which LH approaches should appear throughout the volumes of the works. Therefore, we identified that the approach to local history in the textbook is more articulated with the current conceptions about the Teaching of History. We ascertained that the historical contents mobilized in the collections are articulated and provide the study of local history through research. However, we also observe that the works contradict each other and often show the maintenance of traditional teaching models.
