Item Adequação de uma prensa hidráulica de sucatas à norma regulamentadora NR-12(2023-05-02) Lucena, Romário Ferreira; Macêdo, Ana Vitória de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1157321507564630Accidents at work with equipment and machines usually happen due to human error. Several times as a result of the lack of qualification and training of the workers, compliance with standard procedures, as well as the non-use or incorrect use of personal protective equipment and, mainly, the absence of protections and safety systems for machines and equipment. In view of this, NR12 establishes, among several factors, the requirement that companies guarantee employee safety during the development of their work. However, only the NR-12 cannot guarantee the specific safety of all machines, with that there are standards such as NR-9 and NR-1 that talk about the issue of analyzing the risk of the equipment or machine. The objective of this work is to present a Proposal for the adaptation of a hydraulic combustion press in accordance with the requirements established by NR12, and complemented by NR-9 and NR- 1 in order to guarantee a more specific safety of this machine that is located in an Industry Metallic Warehouse in Jaboatão dos Guararapes.Item Adsorção de corantes em materiais híbridos obtidos de biomassa pirolisada com nanopartículas magnéticas(2021-03-05) Nascimento, Rizia Keila do; Araújo, Ana Cláudia Vaz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6861890992609511; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8972131109377770The adsorption of residues in aqueous medium is an effective process for treating effluents from the textile industry. Several materials have been developed for this purpose, and their adsorptive capacity has been thoroughly studied. In this work, a new adsorbent material was synthesized by a hydrothermal route. This hybrid material (named HB) is formed by biomass residue (sugarcane straw) and magnetite nanoparticles (NPs), an iron oxide. The magnetite cubic phase in HB was identified by X-ray diffraction. The Fe-O vibrational band, characteristic of iron oxide, was observed by infrared spectroscopy. HB presented a globular morphology, with a wide range of size (between 500 nm and 2 m). The performance of HB as an adsorbent was evaluated through the adsorption of the dyes Congo Red (VC) and Indigo Carmine (IC). The concentrations studied varied between 6.97 and 69.67 mg.L-1 for VC and between 4.66 and 46.64 mg.L-1 for IC. The adsorption kinetics curves showed that the saturation time of HB for both dyes was around 120 h. Most of the adsorption (around 71 % for the VC and 28 % for the IC) occurred in the first 24 h of contact between the adsorbent and the dyes. This indicates the feasibility of using HB on an industrial scale, mainly in the treatment of water contaminated by VC residues. The adsorption kinetics for both systems followed the Pseudo Second Order model, with 99% correlation for VC, and 82% for IC. For the adsorption isotherms, the Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin models satisfactorily described the HB/VC system (above 95 % correlation) and the Freundlich and Temkin models described HB/IC (above 92 % correlation). The results presented show that HB has potential for adsorption of dyes in aqueous medium.Item Adsorção do preto reativo 5 a partir das cinzas do bagaço da cana-de-açúcar(2024-08-02) Souza, Ellen Cristovão de; Freitas, Jucleiton José Rufino de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5437959745507297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5321037256511207Water is essential for humanity, but in the Brazilian Northeast there is a serious socio- environmental problem due to poor distribution and low water availability, aggravated by the expansion of agribusiness and contamination of water sources. Industrial pollution is a major problem, especially in the textile sector, which uses toxic dyes that are difficult to remove, such as Reactive Black 5 (RB5), widely used in the textile industry, is a toxic, mutagenic and carcinogenic dye. To mitigate the damage, nanotechnology, which manipulates materials on a nanometric scale, offers promising solutions. Adsorption is an efficient method for treating effluents, standing out for its ease and simplicity. Among adsorbents, such as zeolites, minerals with high adsorption capacity, are promising for removing contaminants. The study focuses on the synthesis of zeolites from sugarcane bagasse ash, supplied by the Olho D’Água plant (Camutanga-PE). The ash was prepared, dried and characterized, and the silica was extracted by thermal and chemical methods. The synthesized zeolites were tested for adsorption of the RB5 dye, demonstrating high efficiency in dye removal in adsorption tests with different masses and interaction times. The adsorption process proved to be effective and economical for the treatment of water contaminated by textile dyes, with positive results when using chemically treated ash. New tests indicated that, even with less ash, the decolorization efficiency was high. Adsorption, therefore, represents a viable and low-cost solution for the remediation of contaminated water.Item Ambiente do modelo negócios ligados a eficiência energética no estado de Pernambuco(2023-09-20) Araújo, Matheus Yuri Bezerra da Silva; González, Felipe Orlando Centeno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9688427609049172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7545636263831913Due to the growing effort to reduce carbon in the atmosphere and the need to develop more sustainable services and products, the present work proposes to analyze the state of Pernambuco and the aspects that can contribute to the creation of business models focused on the efficient use of energy and provide the entrepreneur with a more improved understanding of the context under discussion. As highlights we have the Energy Efficiency Law, the most eco-conscious thinking of the new generations and the application of Artificial Intelligence to efficient energy consumption.Item Análise aerodinâmica de uma turbina eólica de eixo horizontal para microgeração de energia elétrica em ambientes rurais(2019-12-03) Barros, Karla Cristina Silva; Souza, Alisson Cocci de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0526736580480309; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8663471634351100The research aims at performing the aerodynamic analysis of some 4digit NACA airfoil applied to a 3-blade horizontal axis wind turbine with 4m diameter to evaluate the project performance and feasibility. The NACA airfoil 0012, 0015,2412 and 4415 were chosen through bibliographic surveys due to their use in other projects and demonstration of relevant characteristics. The aerodynamic analysis was performed by the QBlade software, which uses as a mathematical method , the BEM methodology and the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Thus, it was possible to obtain the relationships between the lift coefficients and their respective angles of attack and lift coefficient, obtain the power coefficient and the maximum torque, and simulate the effects of the normal and tangential static forces generated by the lift and drag acting on the blade. Throug the analysis, it was observed that, for the evaluated parameters, the rotor with airfoil 4415 presented better results of the relations between the coefficients of support and drag, support and angle of attack and the quotient between support and drag in relation to the angle of minimal attack rotation, thus, the 4415 airfoil would enable the project implementation.Item Análise bibliométrica da produção científica sobre patologias observadas em estações de tratamento de água(2021-07-16) Silva, Juliana Sandrely da; Galvão, Simone Perruci; Cavalcanti, Maurício Pimenta; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9151405767773864; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1523292800241605; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0232118019455098This work is a narrative bibliographic review on the survey of the main pathological manifestations found in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and their origins, causes and mechanisms. The aqueous environment in which the reinforced concrete structures are inserted in the treatment units is a facilitator for the action of aggressive agents, intensifying their action mechanisms and their deleterious effects, providing the appearance of pathological manifestations. After analysis, discussion and theoretical basis provided by scientific research on the subject, the visualization of the degree of criticality of the manifestations discussed was performed, through the use of the GUT prioritization matrix, in order to relate the anomalies with their priority for resolution. Thus, it was observed that the structural elements that are affected by corrosion of the reinforcement should be prioritized as to the degree of risk and intervention. It was also possible to see the relevance of treating pathological manifestations such as surface wear by erosion, leaching, cracking and carbonation. The extreme importance of corrective maintenance is evident, while the need for effective compliance with preventive maintenance is even more highlighted.Item Análise comparativa de preços e índices entre o SINAPI e apropriação em obra de edificação na cidade de Recife-PE(2024-08-15) Silva Júnior, José Carlos da; Verás, Juliana Claudino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8199104094050794; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3351881847848169The budget of a construction project is essential in the civil construction industry, influencing business relationships and the feasibility of projects. Cost engineering professionals and construction companies use cost reference systems, such as the National System of Research on Costs and Indices of Civil Construction (SINAPI), created in 1986 by the Caixa Econômica Federal. SINAPI standardizes public work budgets by collecting data on consumption, productivity, and prices, especially in the residential sector. This work aims to conduct a comparative analysis between the cost compositions of SINAPI and those assessed in the field by the author, highlighting the practical relevance for budgeting professionals. Understanding the differences between SINAPI references and actual values is crucial for more accurate estimates. The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to identify the most relevant services in the project budget. The ABC curve analysis was used to classify services based on their financial importance. Unit cost compositions were developed using SINAPI data from August 2023, extracting consumption indices for materials, labor, and the unit cost of inputs. A critical analysis was also conducted on the variations between SINAPI prices and those practiced in the market. During the analysis, it was noted that SINAPI prices do not always reflect the negotiating power of construction companies, which often negotiate bulk purchases, resulting in the underestimation of compositions for larger projects. Items not included in SINAPI's compositions were frequently identified, impacting the final budget. However, consistency in productivity indices was observed in most compositions. The analyzed services showed a negative deviation of 2.66% in total cost compared to SINAPI's compositions, but individual deviations varied significantly, with differences reaching 60.94% negative and up to 28.26% positive. The analysis highlights the importance of a critical approach in budget preparation. Although SINAPI is a valuable reference, it is essential for professionals to consider the specificities of each project and adjust the compositions as necessary. The balance between standardization and flexibility is crucial for more accurate and well-founded estimates.Item Análise da resistência a corrosão do aço API 5L X70 revestido com inconel 625 por soldagem plasma pó e por arco submerso(2021-12-09) Ferreira, Beatriz Cândida de Farias; Santos, Aureliano Xavier dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0810494477757052; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8533374114394812Annually, the oil industry invests large amounts in pipeline maintenance, mainly in anti- corrosion measures. One of the most important points in the construction of a model airplane are the engine and the propeller, also called powertrain set, in this work it will be possible to see how the performance of this set was determined for the construction of an unmanned aerial vehicle carrying cargo, Within the aero design project at the university, we are going to show how the Excel and Propeler Selector software were used to acquire the data of the performance curves that the aircraft should have starting from the data coming from the aerodynamics sector that delivers the lift and drag coefficients of the aircraft, among other parameters, all calculations were carried out in order to understand the performance of the aircraft in takeoff, cruise flight and landing conditions, always taking into account the FAR-Part 23 standard. The engine had already been defined as the OS model .61FX, as well as, the propeller was also determined to be the model with a diameter of 13” and pitch of 7”, being possible to determine the performance of the vehicle to fly with a total weight of 10 kg.Item Análise de índices de qualidade da energia elétrica considerando uma planta de geração eólica localizada no norte da Bahia(2022-05-27) Paiva, Jefferson; Alves, Denis Keuton; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7109075850257262; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2113363156474260This study proposes a comparative assessment of the leading indicators of power quality measured in a wind farm located in the north of the state of Bahia. The integration of wind farms in the electric power system presents challenges related to the power quality, whose indicators must follow the standards defined as desirable. This fact highlights the importance of monitoring electrical power quality indicators, emphasizing phenomena, parameters, and reference values regarding steady-state voltage, power factor, harmonic distortion, voltage imbalance, voltage fluctuation, short duration, and frequency variation. The power quality indicators were evaluated according to the limits defined in Brazilian standards: Procedimentos de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica no Sistema Elétrico Nacional, established by the Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica, through normative resolution No. 956/2021; Procedimentos de Rede, prepared by the Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico, through normative resolution No. 903/2020. The measurement of electrical quantities was performed using a PowerLogic® energy analyzer, model ION7650, manufactured by Schneider Electric, which is also responsible for measuring the plant's electricity production billing. The analysis of the quality of electric energy is carried out in the generation bus of the enterprise's substat. The recorded values of the measured electrical quantities were satisfactory for presenting a diagnosis capable of evidencing problems related to the power quality.Item Análise de mapa de danos das fachadas de igrejas históricas tombadas localizadas no município de Jaboatão dos Guararapes(2017-08-29) Silva, Anderson José da; Araujo, Fernanda Wanderley Correa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616387320307731; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0895425089026343The facade of a building is the system that first impresses people. In this sense, they can cause the appreciation or the devaluation of the property, depending on parameters such as the presence of pathologies and the architecture employed. The historic building will always present a greater difficulty to appreciate its facade, since the external agents have caused a constant decrease of its useful life over the years. The present study intends to analyze how the current state of conservation of the main facades of the historical churches is located in the municipality of Jaboatão dos Guararapes through the construction of damage maps. In this context the buildings treated were: the Church of Our Lady of Piedade, the Church of Our Lady of Prazeres and the Church of Our Lady of Loreto. It was necessary to make a bibliographical survey about the most recurrent pathologies to these systems and obtained the following parameters: mold / mildew, paint stripping, vegetation, detachment and cracks. For the recognition of these pathological manifestations, techniques were used for preliminary inspections, with on-site visits, visual inspections and photographic records. After due treatment of the data, it was observed that the humidity and the precipitation incidence were the factors that contributed the most to the pathologies in these frontispieces, because both contributed to the proliferation of fungi and vegetation and to the superficial erosion of the rocks.Item Análise de parâmetros de qualidade de tintas em um impressora de rotogravura(2024-01-29) Oliveira, Breno Cézar Cabral de; Diniz, Verônica Cristhina de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9239037374332331; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0857097292608960This article aims to conduct a study on the relationship between the quality of inks used in a rotogravure printer and the enhancement of packaging quality produced by the printing process. Seeking to better understand the behavior of a crucial structural component of wind turbines, the present study employs the finite element method to examine stress distribution in the wind tower flange under operational loads conditions without wind action and under extreme wind speeds as speciefied by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The results highlight stress concentration areas and identify potential susceptibility to fatigue failure, while also assessing the impact of these loads on the structure's integrity. Finite element analysis reveals stress distributions in the flange, with higher concentration susceptibility identified in external regions. The values obtained from this analysis, applied to a fatigue analysis, demonstrate that the flange's safety factors are high for the magnitudes of stresses encountered.Item Análise de viabilidade entre concretos dosados pelos métodos da ACCP/ACI e IPT/USP(2019-07-08) Nascimento, Lucas Costa do; Araújo, Fernanda Wanderley Correa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616387320307731; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7949189322240161The proper determination of the proportion of materials in the production of a concrete can imply a significant reduction of the final cost of work, since it is one of the materials most used in construction. The wide use in civil works indicates the need to rationalize the quantity of materials composing the mixture by determining an efficient feature that allows an adequate interconnection between the different physical properties required of a concrete with the lowest possible cost. This study presents a comparative analysis of physical and mechanical properties, material consumption and cost between two dosing methods: the one proposed by the Brazilian Portland Cement Association (ABCP), which is an adaptation of the ICA method, and the experimental method IPT / EPUSP. From initial parameters (concrete volume, compressive strength, cone trunk abatement and physical properties of cement and aggregates) and following the prescriptions and steps described by the methods, the respective traces were determined for the molding of a certain amount of ruptured specimens aged 14 and 28 days. With the obtained data, it was verified that both methods are able to provide concretes with the predefined physical properties. In terms of cost, the financial analysis of material consumption, based on the reference prices of the National System of Costs Survey and Civil Construction Indices (SINAPI / PE April-2019), verified a greater material saving by the IPT / EPUSP.Item Análise dinâmica de estruturas treliçadas utilizando o método dos elementos finitos(2021-03-05) Ferreira, Lenilson Régio; Ribeiro, Paulo Marcelo Vieira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0171120821110850; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2234155499243922It is noticed that currently there has been a significant increase in relation to the creation of source codes and/or computer programs for structural design purposes, and several are the languages that are used for such creations, in this work a source code was developed in the Matlab language, where the main objective of it aimed to build a code based on the Finite Element Methods - FEM, where we can solve dynamic problems of truss structures with point efforts applied to nodes, so that static (displacement) and dynamic (natural frequencies and vibration modes) information of the structure was obtained, and in parallel a comparison of these results was performed with a program already renowned in the market, which in this case was SAP2000, where it aims to facilitate the understanding of the application of this method to students and newly graduated engineers, in order to reduce errors in calculations related to structural analysis. The results obtained from the comparison were very close, with very little difference between the values. In the case of static analysis nodal displacements, the results were exactly the same. The natural frequencies and vibration modes, on the other hand, gave a difference that is practically negligible. In general, it was possible to validate the formulation developed in this work, since both paths gave results converging to the same point.Item Análise do impacto da geração distribuída sobre um sistema de proteção de sobrecorrente aplicado ao alimentador teste de 13 barras do IEEE(2023-05-08) Silva Filho, Cláudio Paz da; Araújo, Marcel Ayres de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0669410110930611; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1775969653837163The constant growth in electricity consumption, combined with the need to use new forms of generation, brings great challenges to the traditional Electric Power System (EPS), a context in which the search for its modernization has been given by the development and implementation of energy sources. Distributed Generation (DG) and Intelligent Electric Networks, or Smart Grids. In this context, the main objective of the present work is the study and evaluation of the protection systems of energy distribution networks against the impacts of the connection and disconnection of distributed generators. Aiming at the development of the research, initially, a theoretical study was carried out to base the functioning and basic requirements of the protection systems. In addition, a study was carried out on distributed generation addressing the impacts caused by its connection to the grid, such as bidirectional power flow, overvoltage, level of voltage imbalance, etc. Together, the study and modeling of photovoltaic solar generation as a source of DG were carried out, in which real data from a photovoltaic module were used to validate all modeling. Still in the methodology, aiming to carry out simulations to analyze the behavior of the protection system against faults and the operating parameters of the distribution network after the insertion of distributed generation, the IEEE 13-bar test feeder and a timed overcurrent protection system was modeled in the SIMULINK/MATLAB® environment. Next, simulations of several test scenarios were carried out with variation in DG allocation with different power levels, in addition to the application of faults at different points in the network. Subsequently, possible strategies for improving network protection were addressed, addressing issues such as changes in the DG power factor, aiming to avoid overvoltages in the system, and the use of intelligent devices for a more assertive performance of the relays. Finally, it could be concluded that the work was successful in the research and studies proposed about the impacts on the protection system in distribution networks caused by the insertion of distributed generation, since, in 38.71% of the simulations, there was action of the protection equipment for the reverse fault.Item Análise do processo adsortivo de corantes industriais por nanopartículas magnéticas de magnetita (Fe3O4)(2019-07-08) Cabral, Ariane Nathália de Siqueira Souza; Araújo, Ana Cláudia Vaz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6861890992609511; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3246406733304902Environmental degradation is an inevitable factor that accompanies the development of the population and unfortunately this has reached water systems, rivers and water sources.
