Item Atuação do médico veterinário na Vigilância Agropecuária Internacional (VIGIAGRO)(2018) Freitas, Marciella Thais Dino de; Moura, Andrea Paiva Botelho Lapenda de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6414540974581675; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6317020792217386World demand for food gradually increases as the population grows and, as a result, trade opportunities between countries increase, boosting international trade in products. This exchange of products between countries is directly linked to the economic benefits associated with the globalization of markets. However, this increase in trade also raises the likelihood of the introduction of agents causing human and animal disease. Thus, in order to prevent and mitigate the risk of dissemination of pathogens originating from this trade, there is an active veterinary service performing the function of customs inspection. In Brazil, the control of the entrance of products of animal origin is the responsibility of the Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA), which acts through the integral service of the Vigilância Agropecuária Internacional (VIGIAGRO), present in the primary sanitary barriers of the country. The Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) was held at VIGIAGRO in Pernambuco, more specifically at the Port of Suape unit. It began on September 18, 2018 and ended on December 4, 2018, totalizing a workload of 420 hours, aiming to understand the operating regime and know the performance of the Veterinarian in the sanitary barrier in primary zone in Brazil.Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO), realizado na Clínica Equestre, Lagoa Seca, PB e Mauricea Alimentos do Nordeste, Carpina- PE(2018) Souza, Lucas Fidelis Diogo; Rizzo, Huber; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6985492817773613Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) peritonite infecciosa felina (PIF): relato de caso(2018) Barrocas, Lilian Bastos; Souza, Daniela Maria Bastos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4856221548369438; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4386392913269816Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO), realizado no hospital veterinário da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria(2018-02-01) Galeas, Gabriela Ratis; Aleixo, Grazielle Anahy de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3165940085830406; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5804703226956016The present Conclusion Paper reports the activities developed during the Compulsory Supervised Internship in Veterinary Medicine, by the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, under the orietation of DVM MSc Grazielle Anahy de Sousa Aleixo. Fernanda Vieira Amorim da Costa and accompaniment by all residents, masters and PhD in the Small Animal Clinic sector. The mandatory supervised intership happens, especially, in the Feline Sector (Medfel), with a total of approximately 100 felines during these three months, many cases could be experienced, but one case can be excel for your rarity and few studies about. Anasarca or generalized edema it’s a condition can’t be observed in adult felines, being associated, in most cases, with poor fetal formations. This happens by the changes in the fluid exchange mechanism of the organism, taking to a exacerbated deposition of fluid in the interstitial space of the entire animal organism. This condition has described a few times in adult patients and is rarely reported in association with restrictive cardiomyopathy, this condition can change the cardiac diastole due to the high deposition of fibrin in the myocardium, block the normal functioning of this heart, to atrial dilatation mainly. The feline patient doesn’t have patterns in clinical findings that lead to more effective studies in the case of heart disease and because they demonstrate significant behavioral changes late, being attended many times when the course of the disease is at a level described as difficult to treat and unfavorable prognosis, makes it difficult to identify specific factors that facilitate the treatment and preventive diagnosis in these cases, being this disease in particular idiopathic cause and little is known about how it manifests in these animals. The objective of this report was to present the case of a feline patient with an anasarca, as a consequence of a restrictive cardiomyopathy, seeking to provide more information to the staff, in order to facilitate the maintenance of the life of these patients and to promote support for diagnostic methods.Item Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório - ESO(2018-08-09) Ramos, Manoel Carlos Freire; Santos, Edna Michelly de Sá; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5706618430575429; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3507463870291043Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO): atividades desenvolvidas em reprodução equina(2018-08-10) Silva, Jonas Nóbrega; Bartolomeu, Cláudio Coutinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7619056086707716; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6740887718667717The objective of mandatory supervised practice in Veterinary Medicine is connecting academic teaching with fieldwork; this is the moment that is possible to gain a technical and extensive view from the future profession because it is a complement for the academic learning. These changes are confirmed in animals undergoing imaging tests such as x-rays and ultrasonography. Accompanying generally elderly dogs, medium or large, without predisposition of race and sex. Splenopathies are common diseases in this species, and may be associated with benign diseases, with an excellent prognosis, as well as diseases with a high degree of malignancy and a high mortality rate. Splenectomy is, in some cases, the measure adopted as therapeutic conduct. The objective of this work was to report the care of a 13-year-old female Poodle, who was admitted to the Arionaldo de Sá Veterinary Clinic for clinical consultation. Additional tests, such as ultrasonography, blood count and serum biochemistry, chest radiography and electrocardiogram were requested, in order to obtain the diagnosis and assess the general condition of the patient. Complementary exams revealed the presence of a rounded structure in the spleen, with high vascularity at the Doppler, but with no pulmonary metastasis. Based on the complementary tests, the animal was referred for splenectomy. After removal of the organ, it was sent in 10% formalin for histopathological examination for neoplasia analysis and graduation of possible malignancy.
