(2023-09-12) Silva, Gabriel Wilams Oliveira da; Lindoso, Rosângela Cely Branco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3076590717855221
The present research focuses on the impacts of psychomotor interventions on the motor development of children with autism. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a set of conditions that can cause damage in the social, motor, language, among others. Psychomotricity has been considered in studies and interventions as an aid in the development of affected conditions. However, there are still no clear and convincing results on the benefits and effects of psychomotor interventions on the development of individuals diagnosed with ASD. Based on this, the objective of the present study was to investigate the impacts of psychomotor interventions on the motor development of children with autism through the analysis of publications found on the Periódicos Capes research platform, using the following descriptors: Child psychomotor development; Child Psychomotor Development AND Psychomotricity; Psychomotricity AND Autism. 04 articles were selected, which were qualitatively evaluated. In these, positive results of psychomotor intervention aimed at children were observed, with few articles found that reported interventions and studies aimed at children within the autism spectrum.
