    This exploratory work addresses the contemporary trajectory of 'Brega' as a cultural expression from Pernambuco, Brazil, from its emergence in the 1990s to the year 2023. It is a bibliographical and documentary research that aimed to identify the emergence of this cultural phenomenon, the moments of tension between artists and local political institutions, and the process of recognizing 'Brega' as a cultural expression from Pernambuco and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Recife.

    Patrimônio histórico cultural no ensino de história: análise do currículo de Pernambuco

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la presencia de la discusión sobre El Patrimonio Histórico Cultural en el Currículo Pernambucano - Enseñanza Primaria, edición 2019, dirigido a los Maestros y Escuelas de Enseñanza Primaria de la Red de Educación del Estado de Pernambuco. La metodología utilizada fue un análisis comparativo y cualitativo de los textos base, la Base Curricular Común Nacional y El Currículo Pernambucano, buscando comprender la inclusión de conocimientos sobre Patrimonio Histórico Cultural. Se plantean algunas cuestiones con la intención de observar si los contenidos ofrecidos generan reflexión sobre el tema del patrimônio en la formación de los alumnos y/o si las inserciones de contenidos a lo largo de los currículos atienden a las necesidades de formación que están en consonancia con lo que se espera del desarrollo de un individuo en esta etapa de la escolaridad. El objetivo es discutir cómo este objeto de estudio ha sido incluido en la enseñanza de la historia en la educación básica en el estado de Pernambuco.

    As influências das Cartas Patrimoniais sobre a legislação brasileira de salvaguarda do patrimônio histórico-cultural (1962-1988)

    The understanding cultural heritage allows the development of safeguarding historical assets by formulating preservationist and socioeconomic strategies, througt the elaboration of public policies. Paper for Course Conclusion (PCC) proposes to problematize the set of international guidelines, through Heritage Charters in national legislation and their impact on the protection of Brazilian cultural heritage. We take as a historical cut the period between the Paris Recommendation of 1962, and the promulgation of the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. As a methodology, we carry out bibliographic research using the concepts of cultural heritage developed by François Hartog (2006), the relationship between culture and memory proposed by Joël Candau (2011), and social representation by Sandra Pesavento (2013). We observe the recurring terms of the international guidelines, which are: the definition and discussion of the cultural asset, the debate on the urbanistic, and the list of public policies for the preservation of the national cultural heritage through the definition of World Heritage. The set of data accessed was ordered chronologically, and the information was cross-checked, resulting in the confirmation of the Heritage Charters’s influence in the creation of measures to safeguard the heritage in the country.

    A Fortaleza de Santa Cruz de Itamaracá: história de um patrimônio brasileiro

    This work aims to analyze aspects related to the history of the Santa Cruz de Itamaracá fortress. A historiographical review was carried about the defensive constructions located in Pernambuco and Northern Captainships. We also seek to understand the geostrategic importance of this construction, between the 17th and 18th centuries, and its position as part of the defense of the Captainships of Itamaracá and Pernambuco. Finally, we carried a study on the concept of cultural heritage, seeking to understand the meaning and the importance of cultural assets and how the Itamaracá fortress is part of this cultural heritage composed of several fortifications scattered across Brazil.

    Los análisis presentados en este artículo involucran a la Educación Patrimonial y su espacio dentro de los libros de texto de historia de la escuela primaria de sexto año (PNLD 2017-2019) utilizados por estudiantes de escuelas públicas estatales en el municipio de Camaragibe, Pernambuco, Brasil. Con las nuevas interpretaciones históricas relacionadas con el cambio en la forma de pensar y escribir la Historia, desde la redemocratización de Brasil, permitió nuevos enfoques historiográficos dentro de la academia que también repercutieron en la producción de contenidos para el ámbito escolar. Así, reconociendo tales cambios, se pudo pensar en la Educación Patrimonial como un punto a abordar en un intento de plasmar en estos libros esta metodología de enseñanza a través de los conceptos y actividades propuestos.

    In a globalized world where the new languages cross the subjects, the museums need to follow the changes in the means of raising the awareness of the communities about their cultural heritage. This monograph is concerned with presenting Prehistory workshops that bring a dinamic learning about historical content, this is a teaching methodology offered by Maria Lourdes Parreira Horta, of Patrimonial Education, which through interactive activities leads students to explore the meanings of prehistoric indigenous ceramics belonging to the Louis Jacques Brunet Museum exhibition, these workshops have their relevance in awakening in the students the critical spirit. This work also intends to carry out a qualitative analysis of didactic results obtained during the workshops. This project worked so that the knowledges continue to be produced and transformed in a critical and collective way through the encounter with the cultural heritage in museums, these heritages are expressions of the culture of the peoples and for that reason deserve to be recognized and preserved.
