Item Do campo ao ensino: uma relação entre a agricultura familiar e a aquisição de alimentos pelas escolas públicas de Paudalho - PE(2024-03-07) Maciel, Ana Clara Santos; Souza, Poema Isis Andrade de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2017359154121135The discussion of how the countryside permeates the city so that there exists a sustainable relationship between these two realities is a too approached topic, in such a way that the recognition that it is necessary to strengthen this relationship is even present in laws. The goal of this work is twofold. First, it is to analyze, throughout secondary data and interviews, the Federal Law L11947 applied to the district of Paudalho, where one of the prerequisites for the city to receive the requested resource is that its schools use at least 30% of such funding in family-farming-food-made. The second objective is to discuss the importance of this law for the relationship between the countryside and the municipality, understanding whether it can promote the circular economy and healthy eating in schools in the municipality. Secondary data analysis is based on reading research articles, collecting IBGE socioeconomic numbers, and information collected through interviews with staff of the Paudalho Education Department. From this analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the Federal Law L11947 is a remarkable incentive for the circular economy of the region, but there still exist many difficulties to overcome, such as, for instance, the low value of available federal resources capable of covering students meals without district's resources.Item Crédito rural para a agricultura familiar: estratégias para facilitar o acesso ao PRONAF no Nordeste brasileiro(2021-12-17) Menezes, Julian Lopes; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422This paper presents a historical overview of rural credit in Brazil from the coffee period (Old Republic) to the strengthening of the term family farming in the 1990s. Then, the history of family farming and its dispute for rural credit with large producers is analyzed. From the second half of the 1990s onwards, the creation of PRONAF as a program aimed at family farming was explored due to its relevance in the country's economy, mainly in the development of the domestic food market. The main goal of this work is to enable the transmission of information about the program and thus enable an increase in the volume of credit accessed by family rural producers in the Northeast due to the great concentration of resources in the South and Southeast regions between 1999 and 2019. Based on collected data, this concentration in these two regions is confirmed and as a practical guide could contribute socially to minimize this great inequality. To measure the concentration of resources in the south and southeast of the country, data on PRONAF will be used, such as the number of contracts and amounts released. After showing the concentration and some possible reasons, we will bring a practical guide that can be guided to access the program.Item Evolução na concessão de crédito do PRONAF para o produtor rural: um estudo de caso em São Joaquim do Monte/PE(2022-05-30) Lucena, João Paulo de Figueiredo; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422The present study analyzed the evolution in the granting of rural credit, more specifically, the PRONAF for small rural producers in Sao Joaquim do Monte - PE, between the years 2013 to 2019, as well as the evolution of the municipal PIB with emphasis on the sector agricultural in the same period, in addition to identifying some impeditive factors for the granting of credit. The study was based on a mixed survey, covering primary and secondary data, using field research and bibliographic research. Assuming that there was an increase in rural credit and an economic growth in the agricultural sector, the present study covered some aspects and came to the conclusion that rural credit applied correctly and in a targeted way can result in economic growth and increased wealth.Item Investimento com propósito: a captação de recursos no mercado de capitais realizada por cooperativas agrícolas ligadas ao Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra(2022-05-24) Rodrigues, Elizeth Aparecida Carvalho; Kehrle, Luiz Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3665967394288808The ESG (Enviromental, Social and Governance) agenda, brought to light the need to measure the impact of the actions of companies and individuals on society and the planet. A more mature and critical society demands the preservation of the environment, more equality and transparency in the relationships between companies and their stakeholders. The figure of the purposeful investor is emerging, who aims for profit, but also wants to see their assets being used to generate an effective impact on society, in the construction of a better planet and a more prosperous future. And it was in this context that an operation considered revolutionary took place in the capital market at the end of 2021: seven cooperatives linked to the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) went to the stock exchange and raised R$ 17.5 million for investment in family farming, benefiting 13 thousand families. The objective of this work is to verify how the capture carried out by the cooperatives linked to the MST took place. The methodology adopted was national and international bibliographic research on the subject of investing with purpose, ESG and capital markets, as well as research on websites of highly reliable sources, seeking references, concepts, existing legal instruments and related to the theme. The final result shows that the capital market can be a great ally of the MST in the development of family agriculture.Item A evolução do agronegócio brasileiro no período de 2010 a 2018(2019) Câmara, Rodrigo Dornelas; Souto, Keynis Cândido de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0393274407907348From 2010 to 2018, there were political, economic and climatic crises that impacted the country's growth and agribusiness. In this context, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the behavior of agribusiness during this period with emphasis on the participation of GDP-Agro in GDP-BR; the participation of the agribusiness trade balancein the Brazilian BC; and the labor market behavior of the sector in relation to Brazil. Secondary data were obtained from public and private agencies, available on their websites and from scientific articles already published and available in libraries. The results show that in 2016, agribusiness accounted for 19.06% of Gross Domestic Product, had 43% of the Trade Balance and its share of the Labor Market was 20.86%. In 2018, agribusiness was responsible for 21.14% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), with a reduction in the balance of trade, reaching 42.4%, and also a reduction in its participation in the Labor Market for 19.55%. The results allow us to conclude that, despite the crises and climate factors that plagued agribusiness in this period, the sector had an improvement in its share of GDP, and its share of the labor market and trade balance had a slight reduction, but it was not. Big impact. Therefore it can be considered that during the study period, agribusiness remained stable, considering the data analyzed.Item A política da reforma agrária como mecanismo multiplicador na produção de alimentos da agricultura familiar(2019) Barbosa, Ricardo Bruno de Lima; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422Throughout its history, Brazil has experienced great opportunities to implement a land reordering policy in order to streamline access to land more equitably, but the Brazilian state has never implemented a policy of definitive reform of the Brazilian agrarian structure. This paper intends to carry out a study of the land reform policy implemented in Brazil from 1994 to 2018. As well as to analyze the governmental actions of the policies of strengthening of the family agriculture in the period. The study was based on documentary research through official government data and the reference bibliography for the topics covered. The objective was to investigate the strategic components of agrarian reform and family farming as mechanisms to address inequality and poverty in rural areas, providing employment and income generation for Brazilian society. Family farming is largely responsible for Brazilian agricultural production, especially food production for the Brazilian domestic market.
