As awareness has grown in recent years about global warming and climate change, the world is heading for a trend where companies and investors are looking to positively impact the environment. A new vision has been created where reducing pollutant emissions or investing in clean or sustainable energy sources can generate profit and contribute to the level of economic growth. It is in this scenario that this work is based, where an analysis was made about how companies, investors and society are going, in order to achieve a better preservation of the environment, together with economic growth. It was observed that companies are adopting a new behavior of greater concern for the environment, where they are looking for new techniques that can contribute to reducing their costs or generating revenue by including sustainability in their business management. We werealso noted that it is beginning to form new investment opportunities in green technology. Companies that are investing in the creation of green technologies have great support from society and have huge growth potential within the market. Investors are looking for socially responsible companies to make their investments, which can be done through the stock exchange, green fund investments, SRI funds. Therefore wewill be shown in this paper how sustainability is here to stay. New investment opportunities, new sustainable techniques, new behaviorsof economic agents and how they are moving towards adding the value of sustainability in the economy.

The present work is a qualitative extension of the studies begun in ESO (Mandatory Supervised Internship). The installation of another aquaponics system in a building located in Sossego street, located in the Boa Vista neighborhood, central region of Recife, where the Cultural Center Brazilian Germany (CCBA) operates, has enabled us to carry out a comparative analysis with systems that were (UFRPE) campus, as well as another system set up at the Professor Johei Koike (UFRPE) Aquaculture Station / Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DEPAQ), also on the campus of the Aquaculture and Sustainability Laboratory of the Department of Animal Science of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco headquarters of (UFRPE). Some observation points followed the following variables and requirements such as: system assembly; necessary materials; water conditions (pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, carbonate hardness, toxic ammonia, nitrite); conditions of light incidence; productivity; monitoring of the system in fish farming and plant cultivation; management of the aquaponic system, yield of final production (animal and plant biomass), emergence of pests and diseases for animals and plants, evaluate responses of both to the conditions found in each parameter, besides costs for such an undertaking. However, to make a general survey of all the data inherent to the project and to evaluate the viability of this project, it should be used in small spaces, with little supply or availability of natural resources, deficiency in organic food production and work. The work also has the purpose of generating technical knowledge that can be applied in society, especially in family agriculture, with small and medium-sized rural producers and in urban centers, constituting a possible source of organic food, besides the possibility to be an alternative income generation for many families inserted in rural areas, thus avoiding the increase of the rural exodus and the most important, helping to solve the great problem of hunger in the world, especially in the most needy regions such as the Brazilian Northeast. This experimental research was carried out under the cultivation methodology of the Nutrient Film Techinique (NFT), and until the last test performed, the above-mentioned parameters as system variables, were zeroed to those that are systemic such as toxic ammonia and nitrites, as expected, showing the efficiency of systems in symbiotic processes.

Agricultural activities are causing environmental impacts and all of those activities generate liquid effluents, which when improperly disposed can cause soil, air and water pollution. In addition, the use of natural resources in a irresponsibly way also causes negative results to the environment. The objective of this study was to determine through one case study, the main environmental impacts and their variables due the zootechnical activities developed in the stretch area located on the banks of the Paratibe River, municipality of Paulista (Pernambuco state) during the months of June, July and August of 2018, using the following methodologies: field check list to characterize the environmental diagnosis; hydrological analysis of the Paratibe river in the aforementioned station for pH measurement, transparency, nutrient concentration; and samples for plankton community analysis to perform the occurrence stimation of each organism identified that is in this work function as bioindicators. Data from the planktonic community were submitted to statistical analysis using the Relative Abundance (RA) and Frequency of occurrence (OF) methods. The impacts evidenced in the area during the months of June, July and August/2018 were quantified respectively with the following total indices: -173, -178, -232 which prove the presence of extreme environmental impacts. The nutrient contents were 2.8 mg/L for nitrite concentration and 39.95 mg/L nitrate, mean concentrations of ammonia in the Paratibe river were 3.995 mg/L and for water transparency measurements were verified values of 30 and 40 cm depth of penetration of sunlight. In the three collected samples of plankton 5 taxa were identified in total (Protozoa, Rotifera, Nematoda, Polychaeta, and Copepoda) plus Diptera larvae (insects). With respect to the Protozoa in this work they were visualized as external parasites of some Copepoda organisms, as well as filamentous bacteria. It was verified that the contents of all the analyzed nutrients exceed the maximum concentrations allowed by Resolution 357 ̸2005 of the National Council of the Environment (Brazilian CONAMA); also, that there is a little variety and less survival rates of plankton in the waters of the Paratibe river and that there is much contamination of solid waste in the studied environmental area. Therefore, the region needs preventive and emergencial measures that will guarantee the conservation of this ecosystem and will help in the development of a sustainable animal production breeding system, capable of providing sanitary security to the producer and the population.

The decorative paints account for 83.3% of the total volume of Brazilian production and 69.3% of sales, with a 1.9% increase in production volume from 2016 to 2017. However, due to the large variety of types of paint that the market offers, there are still many doubts among consumers in choosing the right product, which because of lack of knowledge often end up opting for the cost and not for the quality, compromising the finish and the durability of the painting. Currently the largest investment of the real estate paint industries are focused on this "new" segment that is "customer satisfaction and low cost", always seeking to improve its products tied to the minimum cost increment in its formulation. In this context, this work presents a bibliographic study that addresses the importance of decorative paints, presenting a little of the historical, current economic scenario that it represents, its chemical composition, highlighting the raw materials that constitute them as pigments, resins, solvents, additives , vehicles and their functions. In addition, it will describe the manufacturing process and how the disposal and treatment of the effluents and wastes generated during this production process is carried out, as well as the practices adopted in the industries in order to offer products that increasingly meet the environmental, contributing, at the same time, to economic and social development. Among the practices adopted in the paint industries, water-based paints are aimed at reducing the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which is a trend in the world due to its less harmful characteristics to the environment , maintaining similar quality to solvent-based paints (synthetic paints), which make them a great potential for expansion in Brazil, capable of meeting the most diverse consumer requirements in a wide range of applications.
