Item Caracterização molecular de determinantes de resistência a antibióticos de Salmonella spp. isoladas de carne de frango in natura comercializados em mercados públicos de Recife - PE(2020-02-03) Silva, Marcela Oliveira da; Souza, Paula Mariana Salgueiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6281410502740086; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9549169192404311Salmonella is one of the main causative agents of foodborne infections. Salmonellosis becomes more dangerous when strains resistant to various antibiotics are found in food, especially in chickens, one of the main vehicles for transmitting this pathogen to humans. The aim of this study was to characterize the determinants of antibiotic resistance present in Salmonella spp. isolated from fresh chicken meat sold in public markets in the city of Recife. For that, 21 isolates of Salmonella spp. underwent phenotypic and molecular tests to assess susceptibility to antibiotics and to investigate determinants of resistance to [beta]-lactams and quinolones. The results obtained demonstrated the presence of three large clonal groups among bacterial isolates, in addition to the presence of genes encoding [beta]-lactamases and genes that confer resistance to quinolones. The spread of different polyclonal groups of Salmonella spp. MDR, in chicken carcasses, shown in this study, reinforces the need for effective controls to contain this microorganism, which in addition to being a risk to public health, is also responsible for considerable economic losses.Item Frequência de Salmonella spp. em carcaças de frango, no Programa Nacional de Controle de Patógenos - PNCP/MAPA, analisadas no Laboratório Federal de Defesa Agropecuária - LFDA/PE(2022-10-04) Carvalho, Roberta Estelita da Silva; Rolim, Maria Betânia de Queiroz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5676854885081836; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9496878067078920The Estágio Supevisionado Obrigatório (ESO) is the compulsory subject of the eleventh period of the bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). Through this it is possible to apply the knowledge obtained during the course in the practical performance of the professional area chosen by the student. It is based on the practical experience of 420 hours, in a certain sub-area of veterinary medicine, whose purpose is to make the student able to perform his/her function, by acquiring the title of veterinarian. In this sense, the main objective of this report is to demonstrate the activities carried out by the student in monitoring the laboratory routine corresponding to the Federal inspection programs of products of animal origin required by the Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) and carried out by the Laboratório Federal de Defesa Agropecuária (LFDA), experiencing procedures such as microbiological analyses, packaging of samples under analysis, quantitative evaluations, issuing reports and the disposal and cleaning of some materials, under the guidance and supervision, respectively, of Professor Dr. Maria Betânia de Queiroz Rolim and Federal Agricultural Tax Auditor and Technical Responsible of the Laboratório de Microbiologia dos Alimentos of the LFDA, Dr. Katarina Mendonça Ribeiro; and as a secondary objective, to investigate the prevalence of Salmonella spp. in chicken carcass in the Programa Nacional de Controle de Patógenos – PNCP/MAPA. The ESO took place from February 14 to May 26, 2022, in the Microbiologia dos Alimentos sector of the LFDA/PE, which is one of the six laboratories accredited to the national network linked to the Secretaria de Defesa Agropecuária, through the Coordenação-Geral de Laboratórios Agropecuários – CGAL/DTEC/SDA. The internship made it possible to acquire knowledge of current norms in the federal inspection of products of animal origin, both for the purpose of export and for consumption in the domestic market, and also measured the prevalence of an important pathogen in chicken carcass during the period that the Internship.Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO), realizado no Laboratóro de Análises em Alimentos e Patologia Animal Ltda, município de Recife - PE, Brasil. Descrição de caso: isolamento e tipificação sorológica de Salmonella spp. provenientes de materiais avícolas, processados no LANAPA no período de março a setembro de 2020(2021-01-14) Renovato, Raissa Santana; Barros, Mércia Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1935392548217410; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9167431982601928The present project reports the activities devolved on the Obligated Supervised Internship, started on march 2, 2020, which was interrupted on March 19, 2020, because of the pandemic and restarted August 24, 2020, and concluded on November 12, 2020, on Laboratório de Análises de Alimentos e Patologia Animal (LANAPA), place where the isolation was made, biochemical test and serologic typification of Salmonella spp, whose came from medical shoe cover and swab from transport's box and processed on LANAPA during March to September 2020 on poultry with one day to 29 days life. After the serologic typification, the suggestive isolates of Salmonella were sent to INTEGRALAB laboratory when the client requested. The results obtained from the serology and typification are 28 positive samples, 3,57% of the samples are positive on poultry between one and nine days of living to Salmonella enterica subsp. Havana, 46,42% of the samples are positive on poultry between 10 to 19 days of living to Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica sorovar: Anatum, Muenchen, Schwarzengrund, Minnesota, Ohio, Saintpaul, Enterica e Abany, and 50,0% of the samples are positive on poultry between 20 to 29 days of living to Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica sorovar: Havana, Anatum, Muenchen, Schwarzengrund, Newport, Infantis and Meleagridis. 12 different subspecies of Salmonella were identified with the sorology and tipification, those were Salmonellas enterica subsp. enterica sorovar: Abany, Meleagridis, enterica subsp. enterica, Saintpaul, Infantis, Ohio Newport, Minnesota, Schwarzengrund, Muenchen, Anatum and Havana, and the Havana serovar being the most prevalent. That alerts to the claim on an improvement of the sanity of the poultry to develop the quality of life of the poultry and consequently, the improvement on the products, giving to the consumers a product with quality.Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) realizado na Empresa Mauricéa Alimentos do Nordeste Ltda. Relato de caso: monitoramento de Salmonella spp. em empresa avícola(2021-07-15) Fernandes, Nilton lsllan Leite; Barros, Mércia Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1935392548217410This report presents the activities realized during the Supervised Bounden Stage (SBS), was realized between 19 april of 2021 until 02 July of 2021 in Mauricéa Alimentos do Nordeste Ltda business. The substantials activities were the experience in the ration factory, in bromatology laboratory, handle of farm of heavy hens, incubatory, farms of broiler and industrial slaughterhouse. Due the importance of control and monitoring of Salmonella spp, microorganisms that, besides cause damage to aviculture, can cause problems to public health, because yours zoonotic potential; the present report has a narration of experience, whose objective was describe the activities of monitoring of Salmonellaspp, realized in the farms of heavy hens, broiler and industrial slaughterhouse of Mauricéa Alimentos do Nordeste Ltda business.
