The day to day of countless teachers is sometimes accompanied by difficulties and inconveniences inside or outside the classroom that culminate in the delay in approaching the intended contents or in short classes that do not encourage the immersion of students in the exposed subject. This article aims to present teachers with an alternative to appropriate the benefits of the skills described in the Base Nacional Comum Curricular, the BNCC, in a didactic sequence. To this end, the study analyzes how the modules, which will be called classes, and the skills provided for each moment are related. It is verified that the use of planned and adapted didactic sequences help the coexistence between teachers and students and their obligations. The didactic sequence used brings the theme: "Comics: knowing and producing stories'' in order to leverage the study of comics, cartoons and strips in the classroom. The analysis carried out prove that when we combine the objectives of the classes and what is recommended by the BNCC, the confluence of the contents with the students occurs, since the classes permeate several detailed areas of educational practice under the axes of reading/listening, orality, production and linguistic/semiotic analysis.

(2022-10-14) Santos, Angelo Soares; Teixeira, Renata Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1789141041884024; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4587422216271920

Parasitic diseases affect thousands of people around the world due to issues related to lack of basic sanitation, poor hygiene measures and access to drinking water. Health and education institutions invest in actions to raise awareness of the population regarding prevention and treatment attitudes. In the dissemination tools, linguistic and cultural barriers can be perceived that prevent the understanding and internalization of the knowledge to be worked on. In the teaching-learning process, the tools must bring clarity to the themes and allow for more effective learning. It is possible to use comics and other textual genres as they are elements of easy adaptation of language, images and present situations experienced by the interlocutors. The objective of this work was to create both educational and attractive tools with greater ease of contextualization and internalization to be distributed physically (printed) and digitally (digital platforms) addressing topics of parasitology. In this work, memes and types of comics with parasitology themes were elaborated, distributed through an account on Instagram and an application mounted on the Fábrica de Aplicativos platform receiving the name of “Parasitos e HQ`s” on both platforms. The productions were accepted by the majority of users who expressed their opinions, praise, criticism and suggestions through comments and likes on Instagram and a Google form in the application. It was observed that the majority of users were between 22 and 30 years old and had higher or secondary education. Most found the creations fun, easy to understand and that contributed to learning. The suggestions will allow for better adaptation and continuous improvement over the time that the tools will be available on the platforms. It is concluded that the creation of such textual genres can attract attention and promote the contextualization and internalization of themes of parasitology and that the distribution through social networks of these tools is easy, fast and effective.

Faced with the critical environmental scenario arising from anthropic actions, researchers, organizations and entities have developed preservation projects that promote awareness-raising actions and strategies to combat the main causes of this problem. In addition to the activities developed by these projects, the participation of education in the development of an environmental concept for children and adolescents is essential. Based on this, it is necessary to reflect on the role of the school in its relevance and challenges, with the complexity of these relationships mediated by Environmental Education from the educational dimensions, contained in guiding documents of Basic Education, such as the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC). The proposals for the insertion of different attractive teaching approaches have been developed in different systems, among them, the teaching method using Comics (Comic Books), mainly in relation to environmental issues. Therefore, the objective of this work is to use a case of the rehabilitation of a sloth for environmental awareness of students in basic education, based on the analysis of the BNCC and the original production of a comic book. The animal's observations were carried out in the Preguiça de Garganta Marrom (PPGM) Project, located in the Dois Irmãos State Park (PEDI), during a period of 12 months, and the collection of information from the students was obtained in an elementary school and a school. high school in Recife (PE). An objective and exploratory reading of the BNCC was carried out, based on thematic searches, where 11 keywords were selected that have a direct relationship with the content covered in the work and its relevance to the proposed theme in each skill for teaching in basic education. The selected keywords were mentioned 83 times in the document, however, only four of them were found in the skills of elementary and high school, maintaining a direct relationship with the exposed theme. The life story and recovery of the sloth specimen, as well as the skills contained in the BNCC that were directly related to the case in question, were considered for the production of the comic book. Six comics with author images referring to different moments of the animal's treatment and recovery process in the rehabilitation project over a period of one year composed the comic, in addition to narrative captions explaining each moment in the story. From the analysis of the BNCC, it was found that, perhaps, the document does not offer the necessary conditions to develop in basic education students a critical awareness of socio-environmental problems, based on the case study discussed. The comic book as a strategy for disseminating a real story of an animal undergoing rehabilitation made it possible to present the desired information to the target audience, involving students in a playful and pleasant way. In this sense, it was possible to verify the didactic potential of using comics as a complementary tool, in science and biology classes, to address environmental issues.

(2021-03-23) Lima, Alaide Cecília de; Espíndola, Elisângela Bastos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0367382856462792; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2160149549829088
This paper aims to analyze how PIBID scholars understand how Comics (Comic Books) as a resource for teaching Mathematics, after participating in a mini-course aimed at their teacher training on this topic. An approach was performed, in the remote format, taught by the participants of the Neuromathematics group. As a theoretical framework, we follow some contextualizations for the teaching of Mathematics such as: social practices; internal articulations to mathematics; history of mathematics and links with other areas of knowledge. The research is qualitative, based on the “Cycle of Workshops - PIBID MATHEMATICS IN FOCUS” carried out by the coordination of the Mathematics course. The methodology takes place through a questionnaire on the knowledge of participants in the mini-course about comics, carried out on Google Forms, followed by the mini-course carried out on the Google Meet platform, which took place in two moments. The first one discussed the importance of comics involving different types of contexts and the presentation of the digital tool, Pixton, for the creation of comics; in the second moment, the participants brought their Pixton-produced comics. The results were referenced to the data collection of the questionnaire, the participants' productions and applied by the scholarship holders in the participating school of the program, using didactic sequences respecting the skills of the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC).

This monograph originated from the following research problem: What are the writing skills of students and the knowledge they present in relation to the textual genre? Given the above, we had as a general objective: to analyze the production of texts of a 4th grade class, from a didactic sequence involving the work with comics. This research is relevant because it provides educators with knowledge about the methodological procedures necessary for the formation of text producers and deals with a textual genre that facilitates the learning of reading and writing, an aspect so important in our graphocentric society. In its theoretical body, this monograph brings a discussion about the production of written texts. In addition, it deals with the historical emergence of the textual genre Comics and its relationship with education. As for the methodological procedures, a qualitative approach was used, starting from an action research with students of the 4th grade of elementary school of a municipal school in Recife. Firstly, an initial diagnosis was applied to verify the students' writing skills and their knowledge about the comic textual genre. Then, a didactic sequence was applied aiming to produce with the students comics about the city of Recife. With this study, it was found that the students already had some previous knowledge in relation to comics, being able to identify basic elements that characterize this genre. However, it was found that they had difficulties in the production of written texts, spelling problems, lack of punctuation, sentences starting with lowercase letters and difficulties in creating and selecting ideas. It was concluded that although children have writing difficulties, when they are inserted in significant writing practices and receive necessary help from the teacher, they advance in relation to writing.
