Item A evolução da Polícia Militar em Pernambuco: uma análise da modificação da conduta policial com a adoção do modelo democrático pós-1988(2024-10-03) Borges, Gilberto Ricardo da Costa Silva; Silva, Wellington Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1213688229016782; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5914482782541589The Military Police of the State of Pernambuco (PMPE) emerged in the context of the unrest in the province of Pernambuco, marked by the Confederation of the Equator in 1824. This event was crucial for the establishment of a police force aimed at maintaining order and protecting the interests of Emperor D. Pedro I. Over time, the police institution has reinvented and adapted to the social and moral values of each era, operating in various ways from its inception to the present day. Until the end of the Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), police actions were often associated with a show of force, frequently related to the repression of the populace. With the return to democracy and the adoption of the democratic rule of law, police services and the military institution itself had to reformulate to meet the demands and proposals of the Citizen Constitution of 1988, which remains in effect today. Since then, the PMPE has strived to promote internal changes and improve its external performance in the defense and assurance of human dignity. However, there is still a long way to go, and this article is dedicated to exploring the history of the PMPE and analyzing the mechanisms used by the institution to ensure and adhere to the legal principles related to Human Rights.Item Os Princípios Yogyakarta na igualdade de gênero das pessoas LGBTQIAP+ e seu impacto no Brasil(2023-09-19) Prazeres, Paulo Joviniano Álvares dos; Sousa, João Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9057718684364301; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8219143137437690This work aims to analyze the Yogyakarta Principles and their historical context, contextualizing them within the global panorama of human rights and the struggle for gender equality and sexual diversity, aiming to understand how they were applied and received by Brazilian legislation, observing the challenges , advances and obstacles found in the incorporation of these principles in public policies, legislation and social practices. That's because the Yogyakarta Principles are more than a mere document; they represent a commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive society. Theresearch demonstrates that the application of these principles has been constant in the latest decisions of the Brazilian judiciary, as well as contributing to the realization of egalitarian public policies, however, there is still much to be advanced and conquered by the LGBTQIAP+ community. In this monograph, the approach of socio-scientific issues (SSI) is assumed as a didactic strategy for conducting the teaching of Chemistry from the perspective of Education in Human Rights. From this perspective, one of the themes that can be addressed in the teaching of Chemistry is Passability. However, works involving this theme were not found in the main national journals for teaching Chemistry. Therefore, this research aims to analyze aspects about Passability, brought in works published in journals that are not in the area of Chemistry teaching, which can contribute to the teaching of chemistry according to the SSI approach from the perspective of Education in Human Rights. This is bibliographic research of the state of knowledge type, in which the works published in journals were mapped using the keyword passability on the Google Scholar platform, considering publications from 2017 to 2022. The mapped works were analyzed from the following characteristics: objectives of the work; target Audience; aspects addressed about passability; theoretical references on passability adopted; and some considerations presented in the work. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that Passability can be characterized as a SSI, given that it is a controversial issue, has a scientific basis, involves choice-making, has a local, national and global dimension, in addition to being current. Additionally, it was noticed that the sensitization processes, the promotion of respect for the rights of others, and the promotion of an inclusive education that does not encourage prejudice, discrimination, racism and violence, are structuring axes for Education in Human Rights, can be met from the theme Passability in Chemistry Teaching.Item O Movimento Nacional de Meninos e Meninas de Rua e Paulo Freire(2021-12-14) Silva, Raul Alves da; Miranda, Humberto da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1254987493556824; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2467433993885500The National Movement of Street Boys and Girls is a political social movement that seeks to articulate activists for the cause of the rights of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability. The Movement emerged in 1985 in the political scenario of the redemocratization of Brazilian politics and of questioning social policies and the educational model. The objective of this research is to analyze the educational practices developed and applied by the movement and its educators during the 1980s-1990s and the influence of Paulo Freire. For the development of this research we appropriated the methodology of discourse analysis under the Foucaultian perspective. As a result of this investigation, we observe that educators use the education method of the thinker Paulo Freire to achieve their political goals of guaranteeing and conquering childhood rights, as well as that children and adolescents themselves are transforming agents of their socialreality, understanding the right to education as a human right.Item Educação em Direitos Humanos no cotidiano das universidades: reflexões a partir do Projeto Diálogos(2021) Bispo, Jorge Luiz dos Santos Monteiro; Fernandes, Raquel de Aragão Uchôa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9733983138830524The Dialogues project has been developed since 2017 within the scope of the Observatório da Família / Menino Miguel Institute and represents the possibility of expanding spaces for human rights education in the daily life of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco / UFRPE. The project works by creating spaces for reflection on themes linked to the fields of families, subordinates, access to rights, public policies and justice. The purpose of the proposal is to build and experience spaces for debate and reflection on public issues related to Human Rights, through the integration between extension actions at the University and groups / institutions / linked to the field of management, social movements, social justice, seeking to make feasible debates related to experiences from different “work floors”, enabling reflection and deepening of themes based on concrete experiences that are daily experienced in the meetings between subjects, such as institutions and access to rights. The delimitation of fields, selection of themes, subjects involved in the processes of mediation and dialogue, were carried out based on the themes of action of the Family Observatory, a group linked since 2011 to the Department of Domestic Sciences, today Department of Consumer Sciences and currently linked to the Menino Miguel Institute. For this article we will make the cut in the last two years of action of the project, 2018 and 2019, a period in which the actions of the Family Observatory turned to the perspective of the urban subaltern Ways of Life of bodies and us with experience of prison. We will present 5 debates held during the period, with themes related to the daily life and the experience of and in prison and, also, in the integration process between extension and research, 3 three focus groups with reflections on prison, incarceration and incarcerated bodies. The results point to the need to bring the theme of prison into the Universities as a way of broadening the understanding of future professionals in different areas about the trajectories that lead to incarceration in a society that is noted for the mass incarceration of young people, black, poor and peripheral. Item Modos de vida urbanos. reflexões sobre: consumo, território, memória e história no cotidiano subalterno das cidades (caso Lemos Torres)(2019) Pessoa Júnior, Antônio Ramos; Fernandes, Raquel de Aragão Uchôa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9733983138830524; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2398634034132541The present work was the result of two years of investigative research PIBIC, 2017 to 2019, developed in the community Lemos Torres, located in the North Zone of the Metropolitan Region of Recife, in the neighborhood of Casa Forte with central axis in the discussion of housing. This material discusses the problem of the right to housing in favor of the less favored class, aiming to analyze and identify the place and impact of consumption practices on the different ways of life in the daily life of urban subaltern classes. We identified the perceptions of these subjects about their daily lives in cities, their trajectory (with emphasis onthe “determinants” related to issues of class, ethnicity, gender and generation), as well as the right to housing. The research is characterized by being exploratory and qualitative, through observation and interviews conducted during visits to the community. The results point to the complexity of the urbanization process of cities, with very different interests and demands and interaction. The access to housing refers to a path of struggle and resistance of the subjects of this history that has been goingon for several decades and culminated with the current moment captured by these different interventions with these families related to housing policy in the city of Recife.
