The work was carried out in the caatinguinha village belonging to the group of villages of the Truká People (Island of Asunción), located in the city of Cabrobó -PE, pertaining to meso-region of Pernambuco and microregion of the Valley of the Francisco, at an altitude of 325 meters and distant 536.1 km from the capital Recife. In order to carry out and apply the questionnaire, we searched for data pertinent to the village in the Base of Indigenous Peoples, in order to know how many families lived in the place and what the places of delimitation as beginning and end of the village. The survey reported that there were 49 families inserted in the locality, of which only 16 were animals, and these families were interviewed, with the purpose of describing theanimal production in the village. The species created by these families were bovine, porcine, caprine, ovine and poultry, and all consumed meat every day, that is, the main objective of the creation was the own consumption, being the surplus marketed.Item Analisando a contribuição de estratégias agrometeorológicas na produção de espécies forrageiras sob agricultura biossalina por meio de campo e laboratório(2018) Assís, Méry Cristina de Sá; Silva, Thieres George Freire da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0213450385240546; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6998116555134928Item Análise comparativa de vermicompostos com diferentes substratos de animais não ruminantes com minhocas africanas(2019) Florentino, Tamires Mayara dos Santos; Nascimento, Antônio Henrique Cardoso do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5216997634308364The vermicompost began to expand around the world in the 70's, and it was studied by the scientific community. The objective of this work was to evaluate the reproduction and development of African giant earthworms on different substrates with manure of non-ruminant animals, common grass (Urochloa mosambicensis) and ear of jaguar. To evaluate the different substrates of non -ruminant animals with African giant worms (Eudrilus eugeniae). The work was carried out at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) -Academic Unit of Serra Talhada (UAST) -PE, being divided into two stages, in the first the substrates were produced and in the second the vermicompost was produced. After the end of the 35-day vermicompost, the counting of the worms, washing and weighing were carried out, where they had the in-natura weight of each repetition of the treatments, after being added in identified bags and taken to the final drying oven, at the end removed the bag and weighed again getting the dry weight. The variance analysis was performed for thefollowing variables: N, Ca, Mg, P, K, Zn, Cu, B, Fe, Mn, CTC, pH, and weight of adult worms. African giant earthworms showed better development on the substrate with rabbit manure. The vermicompost presented the best chemical composition and higher levels of macro and micronutrients with rabbit manure substrate.Item Análise da produção de caprinos e ovinos com o uso de app em dispositivos móveis no município de Serra Talhada – PE(2021-07-19) Santos, Willyane de Souza; Cabral, Ana Maria Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9120227816308243; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2693929015286248The aim of this work is to analyze the consumer profile of products and by-products of goats and sheep with the use of app on mobile devices. The survey was conducted between the months of March to June 2021 through interviews with a portion of 1.5% of the population of Serra Talhada - PE, which corresponds to 1296 people, this sampling was done randomly, regardless of the gender, ages and social status, at different times and dates. The Esy Research app was used on mobile devices, containing a questionnaire that served as the basis for interviews with consumers of meat, milk, and cheese from goats and sheep in the municipality. The data are published directly on the administrator's platform and after the mathematical and comparative structures are sorted, the absolute frequency and the relative frequency of the nominal variables are calculated, thus carrying out the descriptive statistical analysis, with the results being better presented in graphs. It was observed that the majority of respondents are of urban origin with 79.6%, and only 20.4% declared to be of rural origin. In relation to meat consumption, the survey showed that chicken came in first place, with daily consumption of (44.9%), beef (20.5%), fish (12.1%), goats (6 .4%), pork (8.1%), sheep (5.9%) and 2.0% choose other protein sources. It is also observed that 70.4% of respondents buy an average of up to 2 liters of milk per week, and 21.2% claim not to consume it, because they prefer powdered milk (50%), 16% fresh pasteurized milk , 27% in natura raw and only 5% consume long-life UHT milk (Ultra High Temperature). The cheese in turn 76.2% buy between 1 to 2 kg per week and 14.6% do not consume any type. The most consumed cheeses among the interviewees are the rennet type (67%), butter (22%). The mozzarella type cheese still obtained a percentage of 6% when compared to the others that have a low consumption. According to what has been presented, it is necessary to explore the opportunities of the consumer market for goat and wine production through a more active marketing of its nutritional value and potential for the preparation of its derivatives, in addition to the need to improve both the slaughter conditions and the increase in the supply of young animals, which need to be better used to meet the demand for quantity and quality, as well as in the training of producers and businessmen in the sector with regard to standardized cuts and exploration for the preparation of meat products, although some derivatives are already being marketed. In short, given the importance of this theme for the consumption of goat and sheep meat in the northeastern hinterland and in the world, it is expected that this work will have great relevance for others in the region.
