Ureterolithiasis is the main cause of ureteral obstruction in cats. Clinical signs are usually nonspecific and the most recurrent ureteroliths are Calcium oxalate, reproduction or prognosis of the reserved patient in the absence of protocols for its dissolution. The objective of this study was to report a satisfactory response to the use of terpene mix as experimental conservative therapy in the treatment of a feline with bilateral ureteral obstruction. A feline, male, Brazilian Short Hair, 10 years, 5,850Kg, castrated and diagnosed with bilateral ureteral stone was treated. During an anamnesis or patient there are vital signs within normal range, mild dehydration, apathy and tenderness to abdominal palpation. It has been prescribed as treatment or use of terpenes 1 capsule twice daily orally for 60 days, as it is a compound that proposes to assist in the removal of kidney stones and urinary tract. Its use as conservative therapy in the treatment of ureterolithiasis may have led to accelerated expulsion of the left ureteral stone, causing fewer deleterious effects to the patient's kidneys and with few detrimental effects. Thus, the results found in this case study, based on an experimental protocol, assume great importance in the treatment of ureterolithiasis.

The achievement of the Mandatory Supervised Externship in the areas Small Animal Surgical Clinic and Veterinary Ophthalmology, with the publication of the report to be presented by the student. This work portrays the activities experienced during the three-month period, including the follow-up of surgeries and outpatient care, as well case discussion and presentations in both sectors. Comprising, also, the case report "Ceratectomy and third eyelid flap in Persian feline with corneal sequestration". Corneal sequestration is a common affection in felines, occurring in males or females of any age group, with a predilection for Persian and Himalayan races. It most commonly affects the stromal portion of the cornea, which may be a dry-looking plaque with a black spot passing the corneal epithelium or an amber-brown plaque with undefined limits. The etiology is not well enlightened, but is known that ulcerative keratitis, palpebral abnormalities and the lacrimal combination may precede the condition. The keratectomy is a widely used surgical treatment, varying the protective ways of the surgical wound, at which point the report relate the technique the third eyelid flap. In this way, this work seeks to report a continuing therapy in the Veterinary Ophthalmology stage, as well as the efficacy and recurrence of this disease.

The intership was happened at the Hospital of Veterinary Clinics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, from April 2, 2018 to June 29, 2018, all activities being supervised by Dra. Fernanda Vieira Amorim da Costa and accompaniment by all residents, masters and PhD in the Small Animal Clinic sector. The mandatory supervised intership happens, especially, in the Feline Sector (Medfel), with a total of approximately 100 felines during these three months, many cases could be experienced, but one case can be excel for your rarity and few studies about. Anasarca or generalized edema it’s a condition can’t be observed in adult felines, being associated, in most cases, with poor fetal formations. This happens by the changes in the fluid exchange mechanism of the organism, taking to a exacerbated deposition of fluid in the interstitial space of the entire animal organism. This condition has described a few times in adult patients and is rarely reported in association with restrictive cardiomyopathy, this condition can change the cardiac diastole due to the high deposition of fibrin in the myocardium, block the normal functioning of this heart, to atrial dilatation mainly. The feline patient doesn’t have patterns in clinical findings that lead to more effective studies in the case of heart disease and because they demonstrate significant behavioral changes late, being attended many times when the course of the disease is at a level described as difficult to treat and unfavorable prognosis, makes it difficult to identify specific factors that facilitate the treatment and preventive diagnosis in these cases, being this disease in particular idiopathic cause and little is known about how it manifests in these animals. The objective of this report was to present the case of a feline patient with an anasarca, as a consequence of a restrictive cardiomyopathy, seeking to provide more information to the staff, in order to facilitate the maintenance of the life of these patients and to promote support for diagnostic methods.
