Avaliação da mudança de paisagem nos municípios de Amaraji (PE) e Chã-Grande (PE) durante os anos (1985 - 2020) utilizando dados do Projeto MapBiomas(2024-10-11) Pedrosa, Hugo Bandeira D’Arolla; Nascimento, Cristina Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9289129949520610; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4470288990031188Item Zoneamento agroclimático para plantio de Eucalyptus urophylla na Zona da Mata de Pernambuco(2024-02-19) Silva, Carlos Antônio Campelo Cavalcanti; Silva, Emanuel Araújo; Almeida, Débora de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2765651276275384; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1534900496128952The state of Pernambuco, encompassing the biomes of the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga, faces challenges of degradation, especially in the Atlantic Forest, extensive sugarcane cultivation has resulted in forest fragmentation of biome, with impoverished and abandoned areas. The study suggests reestablishing the use of these degraded areas considering market demand, with the main objective of conducting an agroclimatic zoning of areas suitable for eucalyptus plantation in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco. To achieve this, data on average air temperature and precipitation were collected from four meteorological stations distributed in the region. Using these data, monthly climatic water balance was calculated following the method proposed by Thornthwaite and Mather (1955). Subsequently, the data were processed and mapped using a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment using QGIS 3.16 software. The agroclimatic zoning was elaborated considering the climatic requirements of the Eucalyptus urophylla species, highlighting areas with thermal and water conditions suitable for cultivation. The results showed that approximately 28.95% of the analyzed territory in the Zona da Mata is suitable for the development of the species, concentrating in 16 municipalities surrounding the Metropolitan Region of Recife. This potential area totals 2428 km². On the other hand, approximately 71.05% of the studied area was considered unsuitable due to identified levels of water deficit. These results can contribute to land use planning, promoting more sustainable and effective cultivation practices in the region.Item Vasos, cuias, panelas e potes: os grupos ceramistas Tupiguarani na Mata Atlântica, Ipojuca - Pernambuco(2023-04-24) Barros, Wirlanny Evelyn Oliveira; Luna, Suely Cristina Albuquerque de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4941715690112297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0220219826252278The present work seeks, through the materials evidenced by the "Archaeological Salvage Program in the area of the Northeast Refinery - Abreu e Lima," to rescue the presence of the Tupiguarani groups in the history of the region that comprises the current municipality of Ipojuca in Pernambuco. Such archaeological traces belonging to the Tupiguarani Tradition demonstrate the cultural richness of the human groups that inhabited there in different periods, establishing important criteria for the discussion about the history of human occupation in the research area.Item Manoel Valentim: indígena, cabano e articulador político. Therefore, we aim to address Manoel Valentim’s life throughout the 19th century and to discuss the historical situation of Riacho do Mato during its foundation and extinction.Item Estoque de carbono em fragmento florestal na Zona da Mata Sul do estado de Pernambuco(2021-02-25) Mossio, Lucca Silveira Mousinho; Freire, Maria Betânia Galvão dos Santos; Lima, Tarcísio Viana de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0814281560377954; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2636653493262436; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7141821256778001Native forests have a strong presence in climatic change mitigation on the planet, mainly on carbon sequestration. However, Atlantic Forest suffered a historical fragmentation process linked to exploration, resulting in carbon stock modification of this ecosystem. Thus, the objective of this research was to evaluate the carbon stocks in soil and vegetation of an Atlantic Forest fragment in Pernambuco, Brazil, assigning a comparative relation for edge and forest areas. The study was performed in an area from Usina Trapiche, in Sirinhaém, Pernambuco, in an Atlantic Forest fragment. Were evaluated the carbon stocks, soil organic carbon, soil labile carbon, tree and litter biomass in edge and forest situations, in plots of 250 m2. In each plot, soil samples were collected in three different depths (0-10, 10-20 and 20-40 cm), also collecting 0,25 m2 of litter in each plot and data from a phytosociological study were used to estimate the above-ground plant biomass. For statistical analysis, were performed F test and Tukey test, at 5% probability, after data treatment for normality test and homoscedasticity, on SAS and Sisvar software. There was significant difference in contents of soil organic carbon (S.O.C) and carbon stocks of soil in situation of edge and forest of the fragment, accepting the hypothesis of edge effect caused by fragmentation. However, this effect was not sufficient to have a difference in labile carbon. Was observed a major content and stock in the superficial layer of soil (0-10 cm), which is common in forest environments, mainly for the larger deposition of organic matter in surface. The above-ground biomass and litter biomass presented significant difference between edge and forest, possibly for being a heterogeneous environment and for edge effect existence in the fragment. Even with fragmentation, was observed that soil reservoir keeps stocking more carbon than vegetation reservoir, being the disturbance, up to the limits established by this study, less enough to alter the carbon storage and ecosystems services in a conserved area. So, understand the importance of the knowledge and preservation of native forests for the environment functioning as a carbon tank.Item O "polo Goiana": desenvolvimento e mercado de trabalho na Zona da Mata Norte de Pernambuco(2021-12-17) Cavalcanti, Pedro Rafael Chalegre; Bezerra, Gabriella Maria Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8954499933466652; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8437295117852093The aim of this study is to investigate the implications of recent industrial investments on the labor market in the Zona da Mata Norte and Metropolitan Region of Recife, in the State of Pernambuco. Our hypothesis suggests that the territory's recent industrialization broke with its long agro-industrial past, changing the dynamics of the territory's labor market. For this, first, a bibliographical survey was carried out on the socioeconomic historicity of the territory in the face of new changes. Then, with regard to the territory's labor market, data from databases of the Ministry of Economy: RAIS and CAGED are systematized and analyzed, in order to describe changes in the territory, allowing for new hypotheses to be raised about it. Initially, we could see that, between the first and second decade of the 21st century, there is a relative predominance of the industrial sector in the volume of links in municipalities, as well as a decline in the volume of links in the agricultural sector. Then, we identified the main industrial sectors of each municipality in relation to the total number of links in the industry, in order to observe mainly the vigor given by the automobile industry of Goiana/PE regarding the consolidation of Food and Beverage and Chemical Industry ventures in other municipalities. Finally, we analyzed the movement of employment contracts in the main industrial sectors, in order to observe a particular dynamic for each municipality, and seeking to specify some impacts of the 2017 Labor Reform on contractual movements in the territory. We found that so far there does not seem to be a significant impact on the dynamics, while, with regard to the hiring and dismissal modalities introduced, the impact is almost nil for the manufacturing industry in general.Item Migração camponesa na Zona da Mata Norte de Pernambuco: a trajetória dos agricultores do Engenho Lagoa do Meio para a cidade de Aliança - PE(2021-07-20) Silva, Ricardo José da; Souza, Cláudio Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9245887717292317Item Música canavial entre a indústria cultural e a cultura popular: Estudo sobre um fenômeno híbrido da zona da mata norte de PE(2019) Silva, Lucas Elias Arcelino; Souza, Cláudio Morais de; Oliveira, Daniel Figueiredo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616338547377380; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9245887717292317; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7687052596132322This study aims to analyze a cultural phenomenon that has been developing inthe North Woods Zone, it is named as canavial music. Paraphrasing Canclini (2015), it is possible to say that today all cultures are from border. Nevertheless, a border presupposes at least two boundary territories; in this sense the theoretical limits that we set out to analyze were those ofthe Cultural Industry and Popular Culture. The methodology followed a qualitative way of ethnographic inspiration and it consisted of discreet observations of the spaces provided by the cultural scene in question, interviews with the artists that compose it and documentary analysis of sites and lyrics from the songs related to the theme. As a final result, it was concluded that the canavial music is hybrid expression which, in addition to being simply a musical rhythm, it provides socializing environments with greatcreative effervescence, and it carries itself the coexistence of contradictory elements that are capable of generating images that promote the limits of several pairs of opposition: rural x urban, massive x popular, merchandise x art, subaltern x hegemonic etc...
