This study offers an analysis of the scenario of violence against women in Pernambuco in relation to Urgent Protective Measures and the impacts generated by the application of such measures. It presents an understanding of the recognition of violence against women, the implementation of Policies to Confront this type of violence and the numbers of this social problem in the State in the period from 2018 to 2023. The methodology used to prepare this study is documentary bibliography, through bibliographic review, documentary analysis, data collection and comparative analysis. Data obtained through the statistical panels of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the Portal of the Secretariat of Social Defense of the State of Pernambuco (SDS/PE) were used as a basis for a comparative analysis of the relationship between the number of Urgent Protective Measures and the number of occurrences of violence against women registered in subsequent years. After the analysis, it was concluded that, as a means of confronting violence against women, the MPUs are not effective, especially those that force aggressors to stay away from their victims, because they do not guarantee the aggressors' distance and, consequently, do not guarantee the women they assist that they will not be victimized by their aggressors again. Women are guaranteed the necessary assistance as victims, but the results show the need to implement stricter laws for aggressors, as well as measures that allow effective monitoring of cases that come to the attention of the government, such as through real-time monitoring of victims and aggressors, through portable monitoring devices, which would require greater investment by the Government for its implementation, but which can be considered an effective means of confronting violence against women. Item Lamparina: solução para auxiliar mulheres rurais em situação de violência(2021-12-09) Ferreira, Ariany da Silva; Sampaio, Suzana Cândido de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0066131495297081; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4697861062895175In recent decades, even with several government attempts to reduce violence against women, the statistics continue to grow. What is considered a serious violation of human rights is still a reality for many women around the world. In geographically isolated or inaccessible regions, women in addition to becoming more vulnerable to violence, become invisible in the face of statistics and public policies to combat violence against women. Using exploratory research to deepening what has been done to reduce violence against women, understand the concept of social innovation, mobile development and the creation of a minimum viable product, the Lamparina application aims to help rural women in the Pajeú hinterland in a situation of violence.Item Políticas públicas para as mulheres: avanços, limites e desafios(2021-07-26) Monteiro, Morgana Henrique; Silva, Laurileide Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7869325906861017; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5647649505835610This article presents the results of the research finished in 2016, through the Scientific Initiation Program/PIC-CNPq/UFRPE, as a requirement for equivalence to the Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório of the Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics. This research had the goal to identify the social direction of public policies aimed at women in the municipalities of Recife, Olinda and Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in order to promote female autonomy. The methodology used was exploratory and was based on bibliographical research and on-site observation of the routine of the places where women were cared for, where data on gender relations and female autonomy in those municipalities were collected. The results obtained show that the actions aimed at women were concentrated in services specialized in assisting women in situations of domestic and/or sexist violence and programs that enable women's economic autonomy, whether offering professional training or entrepreneurship courses. In view of the results presented, it was possible to affirm that the policies aimed at women were characterized as welfare policies and, in the context of the precarious era, they needed to advance towards structuring actions, understanding and intervening in the problem of women in the broader context of the whole of the logic of capital. Item Delegacias especializadas e a redução da violência contra a mulher: uma análise a partir da teoria econômica do crime(2021-02-18) Silva, Denise Honorato Lopes da; Silva, Diego Firmino Costa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8895265465747877; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8424428403375211This work sought to analyze the effect of the Specialized Police Station for Assistance to Women (DEAM) on the Rate of Intentional Lethal Violent Crimes in Female Victims (TXFCVLI) in Brazilian municipalities from 2004 to 2016.
