A process based on the neoliberal context and productive restructuring based on the paradigm of informational capitalism. The analysis of the implementation process of this new work logic is based on the beginnings of neoliberalism, on its implementation in the global context, on the way it impacted the political-economic dynamics of Brazil. A long way to reach the new working models typical of the relationship between financial capital and information technologies capable of forming wealth generation networks. The methodology is qualitative, the main source of research was the review of the scientific literature, especially from the database of the Brazilian Portal of Publications and Scientific Data in Open Access (Oasis) and other academic publication sites. One of the main concepts that supported the problematization is informational capitalism and its origins in the process of restructuring capitalism within the neoliberal process. The concepts of uberization and platform economy that permeate the new work dynamics in the service sector that have been rising within the context of work automation and deregulation were also problematized. The exploratory study focused on raising questions regarding the process of precarious work and denial of wages as the new rule of labor relations after the 2017 labor reform, which aimed to meet the designs of international financial capital to attract investments that, in practice, generate uneven development and encourage income concentrationItem Um vislumbre da precarização: refletindo as relações de trabalho em call center no Recife(2023-09-21) Santos, Luana Rayza da Silva; Faria, Maurício Sardá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1513772085737367; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0788540094022430This research appears as a contribution to the field of study of the sociology of work by seeking to reflect on the mutations and precariousness attributed to work relations in the capitalist scenario, taking as a reference for reflection the relations disseminated in call center companies and their implications for well-being of the workers. The present work aims to understand the work relationships established in call centers and what their consequences are on the quality of life of its workers. For this purpose, this research initially focused on situating the theoretical framework of this work, understanding the meanings of work throughout the history, the labor relations established in capitalism and the new labor relations with a focus on understanding their consequences on the well-being of workers. Regarding methodology, a qualitative methodological approach was used. For data collection, a systematic literature review and semi-structured interviews were carried out. As an analysis technique, content analysis was used. The results highlight an environment of extreme stress, control and coercion in search of results. It is concluded, therefore, that this research has a social impact by giving voice to a class of workers in extremely precarious situations, who suffer from the most diverse types of violence in their work environment on a daily basis.Item Trabalho na pandemia: um estudo sobre a uberização entre entregadores de fast-food em um grande shopping center de Recife(2021-03-12) Silva, Thiago Valença de Siqueira Travassos da; Sousa, João Morais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9057718684364301; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5160889025090687Item Indústria automobilística em Goiana/PE: trajetórias de vida e relações de trabalho(2022-10-14) Giles, Ernestina de Freitas; Faria, Maurício Sardá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1513772085737367; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6218195164578416This research sought to understand the new social and work relationships that have been configured in the industrial pole of Goiana and the meanings attributed to it by the workers from their life and work trajectories. The Study was developed from the scientific initiation project entitled: The Goiana Pole: The recent industrialization of the North Forest, the new socioeconomic dynamics and the reconfiguration of labor relations, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Maurício Sardá de Faria, in the years 2019 to 2021. We seek to understand the transformations and new socioeconomic dynamics that have been underway in the Northern Forest of Pernambuco, from the implementation of large industrial units, especially the Stellantis Group (JEEP) and the Automotive Pole in the region inaugurated in 2015, with a group of 16 system companies and the creation of 14,000 new direct jobs in the territory. In its production process, JEEP uses state-of-the-art technology in automotive production, with automated and robotic lines. The recent industrialization of the North Forest has been changing the landscape of the territory. The city of Goiana/PE has 75,664 inhabitants (IBGE, 2010) and has historically configured itself as a rural city, marked by the sugarcane culture, and has been experiencing these transformations with increased pressure for new investments and the reach of public services. With the use of the qualitative method of content analysis, we highlight some questions and approximate indications of the work relationships and living conditions of workers, such as: the common trajectory that naturalizes work since childhood to contribute to family income; the acquisition of differentiated social status acquired with the insertion in a large transnational industry; the pressure in the work process to meet the targets, which harms the safety of the worker in exchange for production; forms of prejudice and moral harassment, as factors of subordination.Item Sindicalismo em Pernambuco em tempos de ditadura: relações dissonantes entre senhores de engenho/usineiros e trabalhadores rurais em Catende durante a ditadura militar (1963-1968)(2021-07-15) Silva, Paulo Andrade Caetano da; Silva, Marcília Gama da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0090863442089957; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6520468903094457This research deals with the study of labor relations after the Rural Worker Statute (ETR) of 1963, which meant the extension of social legislation to rural workers, providing the basis for union organization in the Brazilian countryside. It addresses the conflicting labor relations established between plant owners and rural workers, being in many cases marked by flagrant disrespect for human and labor rights in the midst of this rural labor universe, which are similar to the relations proper to the slave environment in the colonial period, in the Brazilian Northeast. The article seeks to understand how the rural social crisis took place in Pernambuco and how the rural workers' movement expanded, reaching the national territory between the years 1950 and 1963, a period that precedes the implementation of the civil-military regime of 1964-1985 in Brazil, whose bases show that it was the discourse for the possession of the land and the threat of the advance of the peasant leagues one of the main motivations for the military coup of 1964, for representing in the eyes of the rural oligarchies a threat to the properties to which they named the process of “communization” of the countryside, translated into the struggle for agrarian reform, these and other aspects of the countryside struggle will be discussed in the light of the labor lawsuits at the Pernambuco Labor Justice Memorial - TRT-6, which were judged at the Labor Court in Catende, whose flagrant persecution, violence and strong repression are some of the records that can be identified.Item Pernambuco forjado no açúcar: marcas e desdobramentos dos processos históricos, socioeconômicos e culturais da civilização do açúcar nas relações de trabalho e qualidade de vida dos trabalhadores do corte da cana(2021-12-17) Silva, Tássica Ferreira da; Maciel, Michelle Cristina Rufino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9534230023921784The so-called "sugar civilization" installed with the monoculture of sugarcane, mills and the entire complex destined to the processing of sugarcane during colonial Brazil, left deep marks on the socioeconomic and cultural fabric of Brazil, especially in the states and municipalities from northeast. Even today it is possible to identify the marks that this exploratory process in the labor relations and quality of life of rural workers rooted in the oppression and exploitation of labor. And being the cradle of Portuguese colonization and an exponent of the sugar agro-export center for a long historical period, Pernambuco, more specifically, the forest zone or the sugarcane zone, aroused the reason for this work, which has the general objective of carrying out a survey bibliographic of studies, researches and other forms of production of knowledge about the sugar civilization in the historical, socioeconomic and cultural processes, as well as its marks and consequences in the work relations and quality of life of workers in the sugarcane cut in the Pernambuco forest zone. For the study of literature review, at a time of restriction to public libraries due to the covid-19 pandemic, the resource of online research was used in platforms that offer virtual libraries with free access, being a determining factor for conducting the research. The study allowed us to observe that the sugar civilization left its marks and its consequences directly impact the work relationships and quality of life of rural workers in the sugarcane cut, related to land inequality, devastation of the Atlantic forest, poor remuneration, exploitation of labor, food insecurity, child labor, sexual division of labor and racial oppression.Item Reforma trabalhista e startups: desafios e perspectivas para a promoção da eficiência no Brasil(2021-02-05) Pereira, Fabrícia Suziane Felix; Gomes, Sónia Maria Fonseca Pereira Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9795791528582607; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2691613604658753The monograph seeks traces of the relationship between Labor Reform in Brazil, the emergence and development of innovative companies and startups. The investigation focused on data on the evolution of the segment of start-ups in Brazil, especially after the current implementation of new labor standards, which allowed new contractual forms and consequently easier association of labor agreements with the demand of each segment in the market. The methodology used in this study was exploratory, descriptive with bibliographic and data surveys about the start-ups in the world and in Brazil. The results show that regulatory changes contribute to employment generation in start-ups and institutions in general.
