Item Verdade em crise: a manipulação da informação nas eleições presidenciais de 2022(2024-10-02) Arruda, Júlia Terto de; Faria, Maurício Sardá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1513772085737367; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1744648110216160The Internet and social media play a crucial role in the current information landscape, revolutionizing the way society accesses and shares information. In this scenario, fake news has become a growing threat to the integrity of modern democracies, especially in moments of great political importance, such as the presidential elections in Brazil. In this context, this research aimed to evaluate the typology of fake news in the construction of public opinion in the 2022 presidential elections, from the second round onwards, and using the qualitative methodology of discourse analysis. Through this approach, it was possible to identify the construction and dissemination of false narratives, originating from platform X – formerly Twitter –, with the aim of manipulating voters' perceptions, exploiting emotional vulnerabilities and pre-existing ideological prejudices. Fake news has proven to be an effective tool in the process of political polarization, creating an atmosphere of distrust and uncertainty regarding democratic institutions, especially with regard to the credibility of the brazilian electoral system.Item Fake news e o ensino de História: uma abordagem educomunicativa no combate à desinformação (2016-2022)(2024-09-10) Silva, Robert José da; Silva, Giselda Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2327404253426354; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3278754457412830This historiographical work aims to analyze the "fake news phenomenon" and its correlations with the rise of the Far-Right on the Internet, highlighting the need to examine the role of education, especially in the context of History, in combating disinformation and safeguarding the democratic regime in our society, focusing on the period from 2016 to 2022. In the context of the rise of extremism and scientific denialism, it is necessary to understand how and why historical narratives are being manipulated to influence collective and individual consciences through Cyberspace for political purposes. In light of this, this essay seeks to recommend "Educommunication," from the perspective of Ismar de Oliveira Santos (2011), as a field of knowledge capable of aiding in the fight against the denialist landscape through an approach that reviews teaching practices and implements a new educational praxis based on democratic dialogue, the inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in schools, and the development of projects that stimulate media and information literacy among students. It is expected that this bibliographic review will contribute to finding solutions for combating historical denialism and revisionism, reclaiming the protagonism of History education in identity formation and citizenship building, and avoiding the advance of neofascism and threats to democracy.Item Letramento midiático: um estudo acerca do discurso docente e análise documental da Base Nacional Comum Curricular para o combate às "fake news"(2022-10-04) Vieira, Giovana de Almeida; Luna, Ewerton Ávila dos Anjos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0502123155013190; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8348461522868685We live in times of crisis in the communication system, in which disinformation is one of the greatest threats and is mainly due to the lack of capacity for interpretation and criticality. In this context, this monograph aims to make a documentary analysis of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular and the analysis of teaching discourse of four teachers from the metropolitan region of Recife, through a qualitative research that used the questionnaire as an instrument, regarding the concept and practice of media literacy, in order to propose strategies for reflection on the importance of combating “fake news”. In this way, the main aspects addressed in this study are around the skills necessary for the practical exercise of participating critically and responsibly in the act of producing, consuming and passing on information on social networks, in addition to proposing the training of people so that they can distinguish by the narratives of a deliberately false character of those that are true and essential in fact in this medium by encouraging critical thinking.Item Fake news na bovinocultura e seus impactos no agronegócio brasileiro(2022-10-04) Cavalcanti, Amanda Barbosa de Siqueira; Monnerat, João Paulo Ismério dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3851426263880079; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5972982453438490In the 21st century, the population became the target of “Fake News”, sharing and consuming content from dubious sources. Agribusiness has also become the target of these fallacies and, as a result, ends up being seen as a villain by society. The dissemination of news such as methane gas pollution caused by cattle farming and the fear that the population has with meat consumption end up taking root in the minds of consumers and for lack of information from reliable sources. It is very difficult to undo the lie in people's minds. Thus, the present study aims to expose the lies and show the effect on agribusiness activity, where one has to be concerned with good practices in processes involving animal production. It is essential to work to inform consumers about the real situation of animals and the environment when they interact with Agro. That is, it will be demonstrated that the rural producer is not oblivious to the current situation of the planet and its responsibility to the consumer, environment and society.
