What led me to research on this subject was the desire to know more and more the field and the possibilities of transforming the natural materials into artistic, sustainable ones for the art classes, as well as to promote the artistic development of the students. The experiment was carried out with the students of the Agroecology course PROEJA (National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education, in Youth and Adult Mode), which works in Alternance, in a rural school, in the municipality of Arataca-BA. For the development of such a study was contributed by the teaching of art in the context of Field Education and Alternation Pedagogy, proposing artistic practices from materials collected from nature. In the result of this research, I could observe that the students developed artistic activities, different from those that already had custom of doing. The experience of producing paints with students was well accepted by all, offering new learning in Art in dialogue with the pedagogy of Alternation.Item A arte de Ana das Carrancas: de louceira à expressão da arte popular(2023-12-18) Cavalcante, Kellison Lima; Torres, Niedja Ferreira dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3501803097646190; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7281273840360289This work investigates the trajectory and artistic production of Ana das Carrancas, a ceramicist known for her technique of molding clay into the shape of carrancas, with the aim of understanding artistic creation, her influences, aesthetics and her contribution to art teaching. Ana das Carrancas is an emblematic figure of Brazilian popular art, whose legacy transcends the regional scope. The research adopted a multidisciplinary approach, using primary sources through bibliographic research and secondary sources through documentary research and field research in cultural spaces in Petrolina that preserve the artist's memory. The clay carrancas, his most notable works, reflect the aesthetics and culture of the São Francisco Valley in the backlands of Pernambuco, challenging observers with their hollow eyes and zoomorphic features. In the educational context, clay modeling workshops and visits to cultural spaces linked to Ana das Carrancas enrich art teaching, allowing students to connect with local traditions, techniques and cultural diversity. Ana das Carrancas' art transcends the borders of Pernambuco, contributing to the dissemination of Brazilian popular art in a broader context, becoming a symbol of the strength of popular art expression. Her legacy inspires the appreciation of the richness of Brazilian popular art, both in art teaching and in the recognition of this artistic expression on a national and international level.Item Arte e meio ambiente: a percepção de alunos e professores do ensino fundamental(2021-08-24) Lopes, Maria Sathiêr da Silva; Albuquerque, José de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9237596885624950; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6194302818626824This research brings as a central theme the teaching of art and its transforming power for environmental awareness. This research has as a general objective to investigate art as a tool for environmental awareness in elementary school students and teachers. As specific objectives, it is intended to know the environmental perception of elementary school students about art and its contribution to critical environmental education; and what is the perception of teachers about their role, as art teachers, in the relationship between art-education and the environment. For a deeper understanding of the theme presented here, foundations were sought in the postulates of authors such as: Marques (2015); Gamma (2017); Carvalho (2017); Azevedo (2018); BRASIL (2017); Santos (2019); Freire (1996); Bueno (2013), Oliveira (2008), among others. This study presents a qualitative approach and used as a research instrument an interview that involved 10 students and 02 teachers from a private school in the city of Gravatá-PE. Data collection took place through an interview made by the WhatsApp application, due to the sanitary measures for the prevention of covid-19, adopted by the Government of the State of Pernambuco in partnership with the Education Department of Gravatá. The survey results showed, in general, that there is an understanding by the interviewees about the topic addressed. Therefore, access to artistic knowledge can provide students with a means of verifying the importance of actions aimed at greater sensitivity about the environment and sustainability. Thus, it was realized that students should not be kept far from themes that concern environmental issues. Within this framework, it is important to promote the transformation of students through the arts, leading them to sustainable awareness and care for the environment. Art classes, as a discipline, can provide students with many possibilities to seek knowledge about the importance of actions aimed to raise awareness about the environment, sustainability and awareness and care for the environment.Item Arte negra na contemporaneidade: um lugar de crítica(2018) Damascena, Cláudio Alves; Carvalho, Marluce Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2780914280180020; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9685069606632693The present research is due to the perception of the little recognition that the black art has in our country, in it is presented black artists like Tiano, Alberto Pereira and Rosana Paulino, visual artists who have managed to break with the barrier created by the racism and gained visibility in the artistic scene in the city of Vitória da Conquista. The purpose of the proposal was to analyze the themes and questions present in the works of Tiano, as well as the influence of African art and culture in Brazil. So we see at the end of the research that a large part of the Brazilian population does not accept the black traits present in our culture, leading to a prejudice in relation to the arts produced in Brazil. One of the great reasons that lead to the low acceptance of black art is due to the limited appreciation of Afro-Brazilian and African Culture in basic education. Not promoting the dissemination of cultural wealth left by our black ancestors.Item Arte, política e transformação social: propostas antifascistas em arte educação(2023-09-27) Azevedo, Kethylle Layane Nascimento Tavares de; Barros, Lilian Débora de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2102439803472317Bearing in mind the connection between Art and Politics, we highlight Art Education as an instrument of social transformation. This research aims to build a set of pedagogical practices for the visual arts based on an Antifascist proposal. From the reflection on the principles and analysis of the historical examples of Fascism in different times, we will identify which tactics are used to transmit its ideals, especially in the present time when we have a high flow of visual communication in our society. Thus, we will discuss the relevance of visual literacy for the global development of the individual, while highlighting Art Education as a practice for building a critical sense that enables political awareness in the school environment. The theoretical framework includes discussions about contemporary society and its relationship with visual communication; presents concepts and historiographical traces of Nazi-fascism and Anti-fascism, in addition to relating the visual discourse of Jair Bolsonaro, former president of Brazil (2018-2022), to Nazi-fascist practices; Based on this, we explore Paulo Freire's notion of transformative education combined with Ana Mae's triangular approach to teaching the visual arts. The adopted methodological procedures consisted of the investigation on historiographical and visual analysis of the discussed concepts and the comparative interpretation of images. The data obtained indicate the need and relevance of inserting the debate on the Antifascita theme in the classroom, hence, a set of educational proposals for the visual arts based on the Antifa movement were elaborated. Based on the results and discussions presented, it is deemed that in the current context of our society, visual communication is very present and can be a tool used by Nazi-fascist movements to perpetuate their ideals. Thus, we emphasize the role of the visual arts in a transformative education that promotes political awareness and critical reflection.Item Arte-educação como instrumento de inclusão(2021-08-25) Silva, Lenildes Martins da; Carvalho, Marluce Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2780914280180020; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8097380498601722This research has as a general objective to investigate how the process of inclusion of PCD in an inclusive school takes place based on activities in Art and, as specific objectives, to know the reality faced by PCD students before the inclusive school and the special school; analyze how art activities can influence the process of inclusion and development of PCD.
