Item Reuso de água como estratégia competitiva em lavanderias de jeans no Agreste pernambucano: o caso de Toritama(2022-05-27) Silva Júnior, João Sales da; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0325504572909793Jeans laundries located in Toritama, in the countryside of Pernambuco, play an important role in the regional economy. However, the production system of this type of enterprise is linear, with cheap labor, small elaborated raw material and low technological innovation. In addition, the laundries in Toritama are located in a location with low water availability, which makes water a limiting factor in production and represents a high cost in the jeans washing process. Faced with this problem, the present work aimed to evaluate whether the adoption of technologies in water reuse can be used as a competitiveness strategy for the textile industry of Toritama/PE. A mixed case study was carried out with the application of a questionnaire on production processes and technologies in water reuse. The results show that reuse is presented as a competitive strategy in the context of laundries as it reduces the cost of producing the parts since the value of the water consumed is passed on in the final product. This makes it possible to offer low-cost jeans and guarantee the competitiveness of the laundries studied in the region.Item Avaliação das práticas ESG através do Índice de Sustentabilidade Empresarial (ISE B3)(2022-05-19) Lima, Elvídio Landim do Rêgo; Kehrle, Luiz Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3665967394288808; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9761148824016931This paper aims to evaluate the risk/return ratio of the Sustainability Index (ISE B3), through the Sharpe index. Over the seventeen years of ISE B3, there was an average increase of 4.2% in the number of companies and 2.42% in the number of shares. The frequencies of participations of companies and economic sectors in the ISE B3 portfolios ranged from 5.88% to 100%. The series presented structural breakage, thus being divided into two periods. The first period of the IBOVESPA resulted in a negative trend, while the second showed a positive trend and a higher risk/return ratio. On the other, the two periods of ISE B3 showed positive trends and risk / return ratios also positive. It was concluded that ISE B3 presented a better risk /return ratio over the periods considered.Item Valoração ambiental do parque urbano Santos Dumont - Recife/PE(2019) Lima, Wanessa Kely Mendes de; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7997896216838904Urbanization and agglomeration in cities have led people to seek natural spaces for recreation and leisure, which can be explained by the need for human in-teraction with the environment. On the other hand, the indiscriminate use of the natural area can cause damage to the ecosystem. The objective of this paper is to verify the environmental perception of users, in the sense of the importance of preservation and conservation that increase the level of well-being for the current and future genera-tions, Parque Santos Dumont (PSD), which is one of the green areas. Located in the metropolitan region of Recife-PEand that has many leisure and recreation activities. Thus, it intends to profile users and analyze their behaviors and attitudes regarding the use of the Park and estimate the Willingness to Pay (WTP) for its maintenance and conservation. Thus, this work makes use of the Environmental Contingent Valuation Method, from the application of questionnaires. The willingness to pay for natural re-sources can be seen as an important indicator for valuing the environment. This anal-ysis aims to identify the socioeconomic and behavioral variables that will be converted to average WTP by users. In this study, willingness to pay was calculated by the amount to be paid by users multiplied by the percentages of users who said they were willing to pay that amount. The estimate of the WTP and the results of this research may serve as a basis for further study of the Park, aiming at the socioeconomic and sustainable development at the site.
