    Análise regional das diferenças nas notas do ENEM entre as escolas públicas e privadas no pós-pandemia

    The ENEM (National High School Exam), created in 1998, is the main means of access to higher education in Brazil, providing access to programs such as SISU (Unified Selection System), PROUNI (University for All Program) and FIES (Student Financing Fund). Therefore, this study aims to understand the factors that influence the ENEM scores of candidates, analyzing two databases (2019 and 2022) to examine the variations in scores in the period before and after the COVID-19 pandemic and, consequently, the disparities between the Southeast and Northeast regions of Brazil. At first, the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model was estimated with the proposition of analyzing the correlation of the scores obtained by the candidate with the school of origin, using socioeconomic variables as control variables. It is important to consider the bias of the school’s origin and the socioeconomic profile of the students, as students from private schools tend to have better grades. To mitigate this bias, the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method was used, which is a valuable tool when the intention is to control selection biases. The results found reveal a discrepancy between the years 2019 and 2022, demonstrating an intensification of regional distortions in education, with better grade yields for students from private schools in the post-COVID-19 pandemic in the Southeast region.

    O lugar da história das mulheres nos itens das Ciências Humanas e suas tecnologias no ENEM (2016-2018)

    This text deals with the analysis of the social place of women in the items of History in the area of Human Sciences and its Technologies in the National Secondary School Examination (known as ENEM) between the years 2016 to 2018. The referrals are given from the production of an evaluation context at the national level through the Admission Exams, or the so-called Vestibular Tests, permeating the foundation of ENEM and placing it in issues of social importance, such as the disparity of women participating in the test. Furthermore, the text is part of a complaint of the historiographical silencing of women in the active participation of ENEM's History, items and Reference Matrix. The documents used in the analyzes consisted of the tests of the first application of the mentioned years, the Reference Matrix and the synopses given by the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP).

    Parâmetros Curriculares de Língua Portuguesa EJA Ensino Médio do estado de Pernambuco e a redação do ENEM: convergências e divergências

    Desde el número de matrículas realizadas en la Educação de Jovens e Adultos Ensino Médio em el estado de Pernambuco en los últimos años, de la participación de los alumnos que terminan el curso en el ENEM y de la existencia de documentos curriculares oficiales que orientan las propuestas de trabajo escolar en el componente curricular de lengua portuguesa, este trabajo expone, desde las perspectivas de las concepciones del lenguaje (concepción lenguaje como una representación del pensamiento, como una herramienta de comunicación y como forma de interacción), las divergencias y convergencias entre el trabajo propuesto al Eixo de Escrita constante en el Parâmetros Curriculares de Língua Portuguesa EJA Ensino Médio y los Parâmetros na Sala de Aula, todos documentos curriculares oficiales de la Secretaria de Educação de Pernambuco, y los criterios de evaluación de la prueba de redacción del Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio – ENEM, como se presenta en la Cartilha do participante – Redação ENEM 2017. Se cree que el resultado de este análisis viene a contribuir con las prácticas pedagógicas bien fundamentadas de los docentes de esa modalidad de enseñanza, principalmente para atender los objetivos de los alumnos que terminan el curso y que objetivan ingresar en una institución pública de enseñanza superior por medio del ENEM.
