Item Divulgação cientifica através do Instagram: uma aplicação no ensino médio da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) para o ensino de Química(2024-03-04) Silva, Isabelly Laís Batista da; Leite, Bruno Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4932752031807872; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6953309899704712Given the rapid evolution of languages and forms of communication, society has undergone different transformations. These transformations have impacted society, mainly through social networks. Among social networks, Instagram is one of the fastest growing networks today, reaching even more users daily, reaching all audiences, ranging from young people to the elderly. Relating this social network with Science can be a facilitating resource for understanding Chemistry, since many students are interested, but few actually manage to understand it. On the other hand, Scientific Dissemination aims to bring these two worlds, technology and science, closer together, providing a clearer vision and language of scientific texts so that many can understand Science in a simpler way and enabling access for those who do not have it. . In this sense, the objective of this research was to carry out an analysis of how Instagram pages, which promote scientific dissemination, can assist in the learning process of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) students. EJA is a modality that is part of basic education and is offered to young people, adults and the elderly who did not have the opportunity to attend regular education in a timely manner. Thus, descriptive research was developed in the form of a field study, being approached from a qualitative perspective, carried out in three stages (Conversation circle about what students understood by scientific dissemination; Survey of profiles within Instagram that promote scientific dissemination; Evaluation questionnaire). The research was applied to students in the 3rd year of high school at EJA, from a state public school, located in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco. Data collection occurred through audio recordings and a questionnaire. The results show that EJA students have significant difficulties when it comes to Chemistry and Science as a whole, where some were unable to relate scientific texts with everyday content or examples, although other students were coherent in their answers. As for the answers to the questionnaire, which related posts to learning, it was also noted that students had difficulty seeing a DC on Instagram, but there were satisfactory responses that showed the potential use of the platform to carry out DC and assist in learning the Chemical.Item A importância do Planetário do Espaço Ciência como ferramenta de ensino da Astronomia e Ciências Afins no estado de Pernambuco(2022-10-14) Lima, Arthur Queiroz; Miranda, Antonio Carlos da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3236324734090101; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6689648091178333Teaching astronomy has great relevance to scientific dissemination. It is possible to mix astronomy education with many other scientific areas, which promotes interdisciplinary teaching. This work's main goal is to analyse the importance of Planetariums as a tool for teaching and dissemination of Astronomy and related sciences. For that, the Espaço Ciência Planetarium (Espaço Ciência is the interactive science museum of the state of Pernambuco) was chosen to conduct research and analysis and, through the results obtained, corroborate its relevance as an important tool for the learning process in the state. Furthermore, this research aims to serve as a support material to public and private institutions (that either teachs or promotes scientific dissemination) to build their Planetariums, arousing the interest and fascination for this area.Item O plâncton como ferramenta de difusão científica e ambiental - uma breve revisão(2023-04-28) Santos, Sofia Moura; Melo Júnior, Mauro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6735233221650148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2854114554272022Plankton corresponds to a group of organisms that are carried by currents, and is very important in the primary production of the food chain, maintenance of the marine ecosystem, in addition to bioindication of the environment in which it is inserted. Even so, there are few people who have this notion about this portion of living beings in aquatic ecosystems. Within this context, there is a need to raise awareness of how plankton is used as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education. Thus, the work aims to explore and synthesize the use of plankton as a tool for scientific dissemination and environmental education, especially in Brazil. A bibliographical research was carried out, with different combinations of words in the Google Scholar, Scielo and Science Direct databases. After analyzing the titles and abstracts, the data were passed through the exclusion and selection methods. In all, 28 papers were raised relating Plankton as a tool for Scientific Dissemination and/or Environmental Education. Analyzing the results, it was seen that it is necessary to boost national publication, considering that there is a deficiency in literature published in scientific vehicles. Most of the studies (25%) approach plankton and its theory in a more synthesized way, and in second place we have plankton being used as a source to measure water quality (21.4%). There were still manifestations of plankton being approached as the main producer of oxygen, and its importance in the estuarine environment. Among the tools adopted by the scientists, the use of lectures for national and international articles (>46%) is observed. It is concluded that it is necessary that methods and experiences to encourage the environmental education of plankton are increasingly disseminated and discussed.Item Aves da minha escola - construção didática e popularização da ciência(2022-05-26) Soares, Alesson Antonio Silva; Santos, Ednilza Maranhão dos; Silva, Victor Leandro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1213486663331528; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5812920432455297; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6231138626861559The Engenho Jardim APA is located in the municipality of Moreno-PE, characterized by being located in the rural area of the city with the presence of forest fragments and sugarcane monocultures, where an investigation was carried out on the local avifauna, in relation to its richness. and conservation status. First, based on the annotated list of the Brazilian Committee of Ornithological Records (CBRO) (Pacheco et al, 2021), the Pernambuco Bird List (Farias, PEREIRA e SILVA, 2008) and the Preliminary Avifauna Survey in the municipality of Moreno–Pernambuco (DE PERNAMBUCO, 2003) and subsequently carried out a survey and field record of the birds that reside and visit the Engenho Jardim Municipal School, located within the conservation unit, then an action was carried out with an agenda on environmental education and scientific dissemination for the students who make up the school, as a way of returning the information collected and contributing to local education, in this process the Guide “Birds from my school: Guide to birds from the Engenho Jardim school” was created. The collection took place in March and April 2022 through observations and later carried out an educational action on April 29, 2022. The educational activity was aimed at about 150 elementary school students with classes from the first to the ninth grade, and instruments such as Banner, group dynamics and music composition were used, where there was a presentation of the local avifauna, exchange of knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm of students. The survey showed a total of 58 species, distributed in 16 orders and 30 families, all of which showed little concern. The guide was composed of contents presenting ornithology, bird classes, registered birds, legends and composed music, all information was passed using simple language, however serving any audience, from children to adults.Item Desenvolvimento do aplicativo Endocanabinóide: a importância da divulgação científica da Cannabis medicinal em mídias digitais(2021-12-10) Silva, Adrielly Ferreira das Neves; Souza, Paulo Roberto Eleutério de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1971832245117283; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2123961681874042Science and technology are essential for the socioeconomic development of a society, and for understanding the complexity of the world through scientific education to citizens so that they recognize science as an integral part of their culture. In this context, the internet and its digital platforms work as enhancers for the accessibility of scientific and technological information. Currently, a lot of information about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L. is being published in the most diverse media, but this information does not always have a scientific basis. Most of society is uninformed of the implications of this plant in the treatment of various pathologies, especially in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The objective of this work was to create a mobile app, the Endocannabinoid, with scientific information, adopting communication strategies in simple and accessible language. The FabApp website was used to create the application, academic research platforms, such as Google, Scielo and NCBI, to reference and Canva to create teaching materials, such as images, visual content and logo. Thus, the development of this application made it possible to scientifically inform people about the medicinal use of Cannabis sativa L., and the Laws governing the cultivation and medicinal use of the plant, and it has contributed to improving the quality of life of people suffering from diseases which can be treated with the active principle of this plant.Item A Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns no Ano Internacional da Astronomia - 2009(Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (SEDE); Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns, Administração, 2009) Araujo, Alberto Einstein Pereira deO ano de 2009 foi considerado pela UNESCO o ano internacional da astronomia em comemoração aos 400 anos das primeiras observações astronômicas de Galileu com auxílio de uma luneta. Durante todo o ano ocorrerão vários eventos no mundo inteiro relacionados ao tema. O evento esta sendo organizado em formato de rede com vários nós espalhados pelo mundo. No Brasil tanto instituições públicas quanto privadas vão sediar nós desse evento. Cada nó irá desenvolver atividades relacionadas com a divulgação da astronomia. A UAG já foi credenciada oficialmente como nó local, sendo o proponente do presente projeto responsável pelo referido nó . Portanto, este projeto visa desenvolver ações de divulgação e popularização da astronomia na região do Agreste Meridional do estado de Pernambuco.Item MicroMundo: revelando a microbiologia do solo(Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (SEDE); Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns; Administração, 2011) Sobral, Júlia KuklinskyA exemplo do que já ocorre em muitos outros países, no Brasil, em especial as regiões Norte e Nordeste, há uma crescente necessidade de se educar e informar a população sobre questões relacionadas ao meio ambiente, como a microbiologia do solo. A exploração e o conhecimento dos mecanismos de interação micro organismos/planta/solo poderão ser utilizados em sistemas de manejo que busquem uma produção sustentável. Os micro-organismos podem promover o desenvolvimento vegetal por meio de processos indiretos e diretos, como a fixação biológica do nitrogênio. Neste contexto, o projeto “MicroMundo: Revelando a Microbiologia do Solo” teve como objetivo principal popularizar os conhecimentos da Microbiologia do Solo junto aos pequenos agricultores e pecuaristas, e população em geral do município de Garanhuns e seu em torno. Para tanto, foram realizadas as seguintes atividades: criação e edição de panfleto e boletim informativo abordando a importância e aplicação biotecnológica da Microbiota do Solo; realização das oficinas “Conhecendo o MicroMundo do Solos”e “Os Micro-organismos promovendo o crescimento vegetal”; divulgação do material didático junto a pequenos agricultores e pecuaristas, e população em geral.Item Criando equipes de robótica(Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco(UAG); Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns., 2011) Araujo, Alberto Einstein Pereira deA robótica vem se consolidando cada vez mais como uma grande área que envolve muitos temas de pesquisa. Recentes avanços da microeletrônica associados à computação e a diversas outras áreas como a neurociência vêm deixando claro que estamos na porta de uma nova revolução tecnológica associada a automação de processos cotidianos. Neste contexto, observa-se já há algum tempo que muitas escolas vêm se utilizando de metodologias que envolvem robótica em suas aulas. O uso de kits robóticos têm se demonstrado ferramentas muito úteis no ensino e motivação para a ciência em estudantes do ensino médio e fundamental. Nesse projeto pretendemos estimular e acompanhar a criação de equipes de robótica em escolas da rede pública do município de Garanhuns. Esse trabalho fica em sintonia com recente programa do governo do estado de Pernambuco de inserir kits robóticos nas escolas. Pretende-se assim contribuir com esse programa maior, envolvendo a universidade como apoio para o seu sucesso. Durante o projeto o estudante bolsista irá orientar de perto equipes de robótica em três escolas da rede pública local. Cada equipe deverá ser montada dentro das normas da maior competição de robótica do país a First Lego League (FLL).
