Sinopse taxonômica das espécies pertencentes a tribo Hippomaneae A. Juss. ex Spach. (Euphorbiaceae Juss.) no Nordeste do Brasil
(2023-03-11) Cunha, Heber Santos da; Souza, Sarah Maria Athiê de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6263631714467637; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2795919190974778
The tribe Hippomaneae is one of the largest taxa of the subfamily Euphorbioideae (Euphorbiaceae) with about 300 species distributed throughout the Pantropical region. In Brazil, 106 species are referred, among which almost half (48%) occur in the Northeast, making this region an important center of diversity for the taxon in the country. In order to reduce the taxonomic impediment in the region and improve knowledge about the tribe in a region with outdated information for most Hippomaneae genera, a taxonomic survey of the representatives of the tribe in this locality was carried out. 50 species included in 10 genera (Actinostemon, Gymnanthes, Gradyana, Mabea, Maprounea, Microstachys, Sapium, Sebastiania, Senefeldera and Stillingia) were recorded. Microstachys proved to be the most diverse of all genera with 13 species, followed by Actinostemon, Mabea, Sapium, Sebastiania (6 spp.), Gymnanthes (5), Stillingia (4), Maprounea (2) and Gradyana and Senefeldera with a species each. In fact, M. corniculata emerges as the species with the widest range of distribution in the region and in Brazil as a whole. On the other hand, almost 20 species of the tribe are known for, at most, two northeastern states, among these: Gymnanthes multiramea, Mabea taquari, Microstachys ditassoides, M. marginata, M. uleana, Sapium pallidum, Stillingia trinervia, S. argutedentata and S. loranthacea. Bahia is the state with the highest representation of the tribe comprising 43 of the 50 species, followed by Pernambuco (24) Ceará (21) and Sergipe (19) and in these locations the Atlantic Forest stands out with 11 species, followed by the Caatinga (7) and Cerrado (6). New records are reported for 17 species, expanding the known geographical distribution for them in the region. Therefore, the present work fills an important gap in the knowledge of the tribe in the Northeast and in Brazil, updating the species list and the distribution of species in the region and providing subsidies for future protective measures, especially for the more restricted and rare species.

Indicadores do mercado de trabalho do Brasil e do Nordeste entre 2019.1 - 2023.2
(2024-03-08) Aquino, Jadson Douglas da Cruz; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935
In 2019, northeastern labor market indicators revealed a disparity in relation to Brazil, according to (Aquino; Nascimento, 2020) despite the Northeast Region representing only 23.5% of the Economically Active Population (EAP); This region was home to 40% of underemployed workers and approximately 61% of the unemployed in the country. At the beginning of 2020, restrictive measures were imposed in the country as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic; Such measures generated transformations in the job market in Brazil and the Northeast. As in the period before the pandemic, the Northeast Region had worse labor market indicators in relation to the Brazilian economy and the pandemic impacted the dynamics of the labor market in all regions, this study aims to verify the effects of the Covid pandemic- 19 on labor market indicators in the Northeast compared to Brazil. The methodology begins with a bibliographic review on the history of economic development in the Northeast, providing an understanding of how this influenced the regional job market. Secondly, an exploratory and descriptive analysis is carried out, using data from IBGE's Continuous PNAD, covering the period from the first quarter of 2019 to the second quarter of 2023. The results indicate that the job market in the Northeast was most affected due to the initial shock resulting from the pandemic compared to the national average.

The meiofauna is composed of marine organisms from 0.044 to 0.5mm in size and is tipically found in interstitial habitats. The composition of the meiofaunistic community is determined by size and type of sediment, as well as the geological, physical and chemical factors. These organisms are considered bioindicators due to their close relationship with the middle, wide distribution, rapid regeneration time and because they are organisms sensitive to environmental change. This work analyzed samples from the mid-coast and lower-mid-coast of Atalaia beaches, Archipelago Fernando de Noronha, Ilha do farol, Atol das Rocas and Muro Alto beach, in the southern coast of Pernambuco, aiming know and compare the meiofaunistic communities found in each beach. The material was treated at laboratory through routine techniques for the study of meiofauna, which was identified at high taxonomic levels. The main hypothesis of this work was that the meiofaunistic community found in the three beaches would be structurally similar, because they are characteristically rocky beach communities. With the results of the statistical analysis we saw that the meiofaunistic composition showed differences in diversity and species richness of each site studied, probably due to the different sediments types.

Outsourcing is a subject that has been widely discussed in Brazil by specialists, mainly due to the changes that have occurred year after year, and, mainly since the biggest one, the Labor Reform of 2017. On one side of the spectrum is the employer , which tends to be in favor of changes and, on the other hand, the employee who does not seem to be in favor of the process since he envisions the loss of rights and the precariousness of working conditions. The objective of this work is to analyze whether workers who work in outsourced activities face worse working conditions and their probable consequences for their lives. In this sense, a comparative analysis is carried out between Pernambuco and the Northeast Region in order to find out whether workers who are in activities subject to outsourcing face worse conditions in their respective workplaces when compared to other workers. For that, it is based on the bibliographic survey and the use of secondary data that could present the situation of these two geographic units, a series of indicators commonly used to portray the precariousness of labor relations. The results found seem to indicate, initially, a list of outsourced occupations, usually those related to activities with a low level of education and low pay. There is an increase in the number of jobs generated in the two geographic units (3.55% in Pernambuco and 4.11% in the Northeast) and an increase in the balance of dismissals between 2018 and 2019 (5.20% in Pernambuco and 4 .78% in the Northeast), this last result can be explained by the high job turnover. In addition, as shown by the CAGED data (2018 and 2019), the concentration of the balances of jobs generated occurs in the secondary education categories, with the highest percentage and incomplete primary education regardless. And this behavior is repeated for all years of the sample. Furthermore, the percentage of participation in all educational categories remains stable over time. It is also noted that there is a greater movement of employment among non-outsourced workers than among outsourced workers, both in the Northeast and in Pernambuco. And in terms of average salary, jobs employed in outsourced activities in Pernambuco had an average salary higher than that of the Northeast Region by 3.18%. Note that the turnover rate is higher among outsourced workers and this is true for all years in the sample. With regard to length of employment, over the years there has been a slight oscillation of the indicator among outsourced workers and data indicate that length of employment among outsourced workers is slightly higher than that of nonoutsourced workers.

Suicide has been a source of intense worry in contemporary societies. In this sense, health authorities and institutions in Brazil have united efforts to understand and prevent suicide in the country, whose rates have increased over the past few years. The Northeast, traditionally mentioned in national surveys as a region whose suicide rates are low, has presented a high rate increase in the last decades, demanding greater attention from suicide studies about the region. However, it is possible to note that, in general, research on suicide in Brazil has been mainly concentrated in the areas of health, with very little contribution from the Social Sciences to understanding the subject. Classical sociology, on the other hand, is taken up by researchers from different areas for the theoretical foundation about suicide, since Émile Durkheim built an extensive analysis of the subject, in the beginnings of sociology in France. This research is part of this context, as a contribution to the retaking of the theme by Sociology in Brazil, with the objective of exploring sociocultural factors indicated in research from different areas of knowledge as contributions to the increase in suicide rates in northeastern Brazil, from 1993. The methodological procedures of the systematic literature review were used and the results were presented with a view to the construction of an overview of the knowledge produced on the subject. It was also prioritized the construction of a synthesis of the social and cultural aspects pointed out in these researches, understood as indications of paths that social researches can take from now on about the theme. It is considered that the results achieved demonstrate the recognition of researchers from other areas regarding the social dimension of suicide and its relationship with other social and cultural phenomena, as well as reinforcing the need for sociological studies on the subject.

Mortality indicators have improved considerably in recent decades. From 2016, however, the movement became the reverse and mortality rates showed a growth trend. These facts coincide with the stagnation of investment in sanitation. The present study proposes to provide a temporal overview of the current sanitation and health conditions in three geographic units: Brazil, Northeast and Pernambuco. Thus, one can also investigate whether there is a correlation between sanitation and health indicators. This panorama was constructed from data from IBGE, SNIS and DATASUS, between the years 2006-2016. It was verified by the analysis made the stagnation in the investment in sanitation and persistent deficit in the coverage of sanitary sewage throughout the country. At the same time, mortality rates due to morbidity, which were falling significantly until 2008, have since been unevenly trajectory in all geographic units studied. Finally, the recent epidemic of arbovirosis and the prevalence of diarrheal diseases as agents of infant mortality point to a possible correlation between basic sanitation and health.
