    The present research aims to investigate the production of knowledge about the Institutional Program of Scholarship Initiation to Teaching - PIBID, particularly its contributions to the articulation of theory and practice in the initial training of Physical Education teachers. We highlight that the object of this research is situated in a context of growing devaluation of the teaching career. The present work has specific objectives: to reflect on the initial training of physical education teachers and the importance of integrating theory and practice in the Physical Education degree, and to identify in the production of knowledge about PIBID the possibilities for qualifying teaching practice and the initial training of teachers in Physical Education. To achieve the mentioned objectives, we opted to conduct a qualitative and exploratory research, followed by a content analysis guided by the studies of Bardin (2011). Thus, we conclude from this research that PIBID is a program that offers relevant opportunities for the training of Physical Education teachers, integrating theory and practice, promoting professional development, and contributing to a quality initial training.

    Qualidade de vida do professor de Educação Física

    The objective of the present research was to evaluate the Quality of Life (Q.V) and Lifestyle level of Physical Education teachers of the Recife public school system. A total of fifteen (15) teachers participated in the research, a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Work Quality of Life Assessment Scale questionnaire and the Individual Lifestyle Profile questionnaire were applied. The biggest dissatisfactions found in the research reported by the teachers were regarding salary, material conditions and structure at work, work and leisure time. Most had positive lifestyle habits, but the predominantly negative indices of diet and physical activity were noticeable. It was also observed that factors such as excessive workload can contribute detrimentally to the physical and mental health of individuals.

    O professor de Educação Física intervindo na qualidade de vida de seus alunos asmáticos: uma revisão bibliográfica

    Asthma is a very common disease in Brazil, which mainly affects children, those whose demonstrate that the physical capacity is underdeveloped. The physical education teacher school, can play a fundamental role in reversing the underdevelopment of these asthmatics, but for this, it is necessary that these teachers have prior knowledge to manage their asthmatic students. In order to investigate this topic, I set out to answer the following question ''The Physical Education teacher is prepared to deal with children and teenagers with asthma in their classes'' And as an objective proposal, I set out to investigate if the school Physical Education teacher is prepared to deal with asthmatic children in his classes. In order to obtain the answers of the present study, an exploratory study was carried out, and to obtain the data for analysis, a bibliographic review was carried out. The material used for analysis was obtained by searching databases such as PubMed and Scielo. Therefore, this study makes it clear that many Physical Education teachers are not qualified to teach classes for asthmatic children, however, it was not clear why these teachers did not receive and / or do not receive training to deal with asthma. during classes, since it is a constantly present disease. Due to the limitations of studies related to this theme, we believe that this work can contribute to future research on the topic, expanding the conception of the work of the Physical Education teacher.

    Formação dos(as) professores(as) de educação física: contribuições do PIBID-UFRPE (2011 – 2018)

    The present study sought to recognize the contributions of the PIBID-UFRPE in the training of teachers of the Degree in Physical Education at UFRPE, from the graduates who participated in the Program, and who are working professionally as teachers in the area of education. physical education in public or private schools. We emphasize that the object of this research is situated in the context of deep attacks on education, with the lack of investments, continuous budget cuts and the dismantling of public policies. The PI-BID has been integrated into the Physical Education Degree at UFRPE since 2011, the year following the creation of the course itself. In the course of the research, we carried out an analysis of the PPP of the course, of the subproject of PIBIB-UFRPE-EF, establishing the links and relationships with the principles of ANFOPE. The research was built with the historical-dialectical materialism as a theoretical-methodological contribution, using a qualitative approach. As a data collection instrument, we used a questionnaire applied to course graduates who participated in the PIBID from 2011 to 2018. For data processing and analysis, we used content analysis (SEVERINO, 2013). Based on the answers analyzed on the contributions of PIBIB-UFRPE-EF in training, we found: 1) consistency in the theoretical basis on pedagogical and specific knowledge; 2) understanding the inseparable relationship between theory and practice; 3) the cultural expansion of graduates; 4) understanding of inter-disciplinarity; 5) the incorporation of research into their training process; 6) experiences of democratic management at school; 7) understanding of the social and political commitment to teaching and 8) reflections on the profession of physical education teacher and working conditions. In view of the above, we thus recognize the relevance of PIBIB-UFRPE-EF in the initial training of physical education teachers at UFRPE, considering the links and relationships with the pillars proposed by ANFOPE subsidizing the construction of the course curriculum and contributing to the performance of these teachers, consequently raising the quality of Brazilian basic education.

    This research is a case study that aims to understand the conditions offered for the teaching of swimming in the community peace center (COMPAZ) Ariano Suassuna. Starting from the question: what is the working condition of the swimming teacher in the public spaces of Recife. The research has as specific objectives: to trace the historical panorama of the teaching of swimming; To identify the main elements of the physical structure and the materials available for the teaching of swimming at COMPAZ Ariano Suassuna and to discuss the evidence collected in the public space of the city of Recife. The research is a case study with descriptive method. Seeking to identify and describe the swimming teacher's work reality through the subcategorization of work by Lindoso (2017) the teachers' work is precarious and undervalued. from swimming lessons.

    Physical Education is a compulsory curricular component in basic education according to the National Education Guidelines (LDB) Law of 1996, however, the Education Department of the Municipality of Recife uses the law itself to justify the withdrawal of this curricular component in the school teachers, transferring the responsibility of classes and activities related to Physical Education to the multi-purpose teachers responsible for the classes, however, even in the face of the manifestations of the class entities and Council representative of the professionals of the area, the positioning of municipal power does not was changed. When we deal with infancy, we try to understand the particularities inherent in the development phase, the cycles of learning where children meet, the construction of knowledge through a historical and social vision with the challenge of obtaining an education directed to the understanding of the other, the differences culture, ethnicity, religion, gender and social class, allied to the performance of the Physical Education teacher, including the possibility of dialogue with various fields of knowledge. We show in this work the importance of the Physical Education teacher at this school stage so relevant to the development of the child, approaching in an objective and necessary way its insertion, together with the multipurpose teachers, in order to give the students of the series initiates a complete formation, by professionals with appropriate training, who can establish a quality teaching-learning relationship in line with theory-practice, in order to better interpret body culture.

    Projeto social: uma perspectiva inclusiva acerca das possibilidades e desafios da prática pedagógica no ensino do voleibol

    The present study sought to understand the pedagogical practice in social projects, understanding the challenges and opportunities in the teaching of volleyball in social projects. The survey was conducted from the qualitative method with application of a semistructured questionnaire with four teachers of different social projects, which are located in the cities of Olinda and Recife. The survey encompassed the following objectives: the challenges and opportunities in sports teaching in social projects; the motivation of children and teenagers to participate in the social project and the pedagogical practice of the teaching of volleyball in social projects. The results show us that the social project aims to not only remove the street boys, but provide educational practices to behold the inclusion in class, student autonomy, the formation of critical subjects and troubleshooting from the game, downloading the learning for life. It is concluded that the research contributes to a greater expansion of perspectives about the importance of social sports project for the life of students and society, as well as the survey will serve as a basis for further reflection on the theme.

    Educação postural: o trato dessa temática nas aulas de educação física em escolas do Recife

    The subject "Postural Education" is a knowledge that can be treated in the classes of Physical Education (PE) teachers, as it is foreseen in the National Curricular Parameters (NCP). In this sense, this study aims to analyze the treatment of the subject "Postural Education" by PE teachers in PE classes in schools in the south of Recife. The sample consisted of 19 elementary school PE teachers from 15 public and private school schools in the Boa Viagem neighborhood, located in the city of Recife. The questionnaire was used to collect and analyze the data, containing 13 questions about the formation / performance of the PE teacher and about the treatment of knowledge "Postural Education" in the school. After collecting the data, the data were tabulated and analyzed in the LibreOffice 4.4 Calc program through simple typing. The study found, through reports, that teachers use the subject "Postural Education" in PE classes and that they consider important the treatment of this knowledge in their classes. Teachers also reported that students find this theme important, but although their students have understood about their importance, they have not yet made significant changes in their daily body posture. Teachers believe that this knowledge should be treated continuously throughout the student's training, believing that changes in their postural behavior should occur in the long run. It is concluded that the subject "Postural Education" is a knowledge that should be discussed during the training of PE teachers, not only because it is predicted in NCPs, but because it is considered important in the educational context, being part of teacher's lesson planning of PE, which can be developed throughout the student's training.
