The purpose of the proposal was to analyze the themes and questions present in the works of Tiano, as well as the influence of African art and culture in Brazil. So we see at the end of the research that a large part of the Brazilian population does not accept the black traits present in our culture, leading to a prejudice in relation to the arts produced in Brazil. One of the great reasons that lead to the low acceptance of black art is due to the limited appreciation of Afro-Brazilian and African Culture in basic education. Not promoting the dissemination of cultural wealth left by our black ancestors.
