The main objective of ESO is to guarantee the student's prior experience in their area of interest, providing practical experience and deepening the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the course. In this work, the experience acquired in the period from April 1, 2024 to June 14, 2024 will be detailed, being carried out in two parts. The first part was held at Gattos - Clinic Specialized in Feline Medicine, starting on the 1st of April and ending on the 2nd of May 2024. The second part was held at Chatterie - Exclusive Clinic for Felines, starting on the 6th of May and closing on June 14, 2024. In both clinics, the monitoring area was the domestic feline medical clinic, including monitoring consultations, surgeries, monitoring hospitalized patients and carrying out imaging and laboratory tests. This work aims to report the case of two feline patients (Felis catus domesticus) with feline viral leukemia, accompanied by V.P. Aline Soares Barbosa. The patient’s clinical condition presented a of non-regenerative anemia resulting from viral action in the bone marrow. The established protocol was weekly application of Epoetin Alfa 4000 IU/ml and Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca-durabolin) 1 mg/kg/IM. During the preparation and monitoring of the cases, both animals showed a good response to treatment and maintained the hematocrit and other parameters within the normal limit. It is concluded, therefore, the use of Nandrolone Decanoate associated with Epoetin Alfa was a good adjuvant for spinal cord stimulation, increasing erythrocyte levels, helping to resolve the anemic condition and improve the patients' clinical status.Item Colangiocarcinoma em felino: revisão de literatura(2024-07-23) Silva, Maria do Livramento da; Cavalcanti, Erika Fernanda Torres Samico Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5256493441853885; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392862805608558The objective of this work was to describe the activities carried out during the Mandatory Supervised Internship (MSI), conducted in the area of Medical Clinic, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Erika Fernanda Torres Samico Fernandes Cavalcanti. Clinical signs are usually nonspecific and the most recurrent ureteroliths are Calcium oxalate, reproduction or prognosis of the reserved patient in the absence of protocols for its dissolution. The objective of this study was to report a satisfactory response to the use of terpene mix as experimental conservative therapy in the treatment of a feline with bilateral ureteral obstruction. A feline, male, Brazilian Short Hair, 10 years, 5,850Kg, castrated and diagnosed with bilateral ureteral stone was treated. During an anamnesis or patient there are vital signs within normal range, mild dehydration, apathy and tenderness to abdominal palpation. It has been prescribed as treatment or use of terpenes 1 capsule twice daily orally for 60 days, as it is a compound that proposes to assist in the removal of kidney stones and urinary tract. Its use as conservative therapy in the treatment of ureterolithiasis may have led to accelerated expulsion of the left ureteral stone, causing fewer deleterious effects to the patient's kidneys and with few detrimental effects. Thus, the results found in this case study, based on an experimental protocol, assume great importance in the treatment of ureterolithiasis.Item Maceração fetal em gata(2019-11-02) Morais, Luíz Eduardo Santos de; Batista, André Mariano; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5615914349535394Item Relatório do Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO), realizado na Clínica Veterinária Cardeal Pet, município de Recife – PE, Brasil.
