    Terceirização e precariedade: um estudo sobre as condições de trabalho dos terceirizados da UFRPE

    This research stands out in the field of sociology of work by analyzing the transformations and precarizations in work relations in capitalism, particularly in the context of outsourced companies connected to the University Federal Rural of Pernambuco (UFRPE). The study's goal is to understand the work relations at this university and how they influence the workers' quality of life. To achieve this, the study begins with a theoretical analysis of work throughout history, work relations in capitalism, and new forms of work, focusing on how these relations impact workers' well-being. The methodological approach was qualitative, including semi-structured interviews and a literature review. The results reveal an environment of extreme stress, task accumulation, insecurity, and coercion in pursuit of results. This study aims to improve public policies to protect workers and promote a safer and healthier work environment.

    A contribuição da autoavaliação na política de planejamento institucional da UFRPE

    In the face of Brazilian economic, social and political scenario, a range of cuts compromised Brazilian public education’s budget, between then, the budgets of the higher education institutes, putting the managers on alert about the performance of their institutions. Furthermore, there were COVID-19 pandemics establishment increasing the concern. It became necessary, then, to think about the obstacles of doing the maximum with few available resources, highlighting the importance of having a well structured and factible planning. To make this possible, it’s mandatory to plan and know all weaknesses and capabilities pointed through a institutional self-evaluation process – an important regulatory tool to evaluate the education as public policy. In this regard, this essay tries to identify how self-assessment data use contributes to Federal Rural University of Pernambuco’s institutional planning policies. The methodology used to data acquisition and analysis of this essay is through a qualitative approach, in which a survey was applied in order to identify how UFRPE’s managers make use of the normative of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) and official UFRPE documents to foster discussions. The results obtained show how self-evaluation impacts the management process of the institution and promotes innovative changes, contributing to achieve success in performance and governance indices and improve effectiveness in the realization of its social function.
