Item Agroecologia, movimento de transformação e transição de práticas: princípios agroecológicos para além da produção(2024-03-07) Silva Neto, Manoel Joaquim da; Silva, José Nunes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1731357666757671; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8541311550732791Considering the multidimensionality of agroecology (political, pedagogical, productive and social dimensions), from the perspective of building knowledge from territories, camps, settlements, quilombola communities and peripheries, I present this work, in the form of a memorial, to describe my trajectory in Bachelor's degree in Agroecology from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). It is organized into three parts, plus final considerations. In the first part I talk about myself, my origins until the arrival of a black man, son of a landless peasant, militant of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST), at the public university, on an undergraduate course. Then, in the second part of this memorial, I describe the main learnings and challenges experienced over these four years, in which we studied the structuring axes of the course: Knowing, diagnosing and planning, acting; and evaluate and systematize in the ethnoagroecosystem. In the third part I delve deeper into specific themes, seeking to link agroecology with agrarian reform and associations/cooperativism. These choices were made due to my militant experience in MST settlements and camps, but also due to the internships experienced throughout the course. Finally, I bring final considerations, emphasizing my role as an agroecologist in the world, highlighting potentialities and limitations for my future work. To write this memorial, I reviewed notes made throughout the course, in the study of different themes, territorial and semester immersion reports, as well as those from the Mandatory Supervised Internships (ESOs). Here there is a recovery of the memory of a hopeful professional, who believes in agroecology, agrarian reform and cooperativism to transform the world.Item Uma reescritura da Liga Camponesa de Galileia em Vitória de Santo Antão(2023-09-19) Santos, Leonildo de Oliveira; Silva, Uiran Gerbara da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7832551328754125The Galileia Peasant Leagues was an important Brazilian agrarian social movement that emerged in the Engenho Galileia, Vitória de Santo Antão, in 1955. The article begins with an analysis of the historical context that led to the emergence of the Galileia Peasant Leagues. The movement emerged at a time of growing social inequality and income concentration in the Brazilian countryside. Rural workers were subjected to precarious working conditions and were exploited by landowners. The movement operated for nine years, until it was extinguished by the 1964 military coup. During this period, the Galileia Peasant Leagues gained an important space in the national political scene, becoming one of the main defenders of agrarian reform. The movement also contributed to the political awareness of rural workers and to the organization of peasant communities.Item Avaliação das Sobreposição de imagem do Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR) nas Áreas dos Assentamentos do Estado de Pernambuco(2021) Oliveira, Raquel Vieira de; Piscoya, Victor Casimiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4581165998180986Item Vivência prática no Instituto de Terras e Reforma Agrária de Pernambuco – ITERPE(2020-11-06) Santos, Eloam Soares dos; Melo, Roberto de Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9419474898249921; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4233306258527295Item A política da reforma agrária como mecanismo multiplicador na produção de alimentos da agricultura familiar(2019) Barbosa, Ricardo Bruno de Lima; Oliveira, Isabel Cristina Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4745142041015422Throughout its history, Brazil has experienced great opportunities to implement a land reordering policy in order to streamline access to land more equitably, but the Brazilian state has never implemented a policy of definitive reform of the Brazilian agrarian structure. This paper intends to carry out a study of the land reform policy implemented in Brazil from 1994 to 2018. As well as to analyze the governmental actions of the policies of strengthening of the family agriculture in the period. The study was based on documentary research through official government data and the reference bibliography for the topics covered. The objective was to investigate the strategic components of agrarian reform and family farming as mechanisms to address inequality and poverty in rural areas, providing employment and income generation for Brazilian society. Family farming is largely responsible for Brazilian agricultural production, especially food production for the Brazilian domestic market.Item Políticas públicas nos assentamentos do Incra: o caso do peixamento nos assentamentos Concórdia Santa Cruz e Engenho Velho I(2018) Rodrigues, Danielly Andrade de Moura; Xavier, Maria Gilca Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6470044940848558This study aims to evaluate the implementation of public policies from the Agrarian Reform Program. The description of results is a case study on fish farming and its relation to income in settlements of family farmers. The activity of fish farming has been relatively successful in Northeast agriculture, especially evidencing an improvement in family income and also in the nutritional status of these families. In order to do so, we describe the public policies coming from the federal and state spheres that provided or encouraged this new complementary activity, such as financial incentive policies for fishings. This last one concerns a policy destined to populate rivers, dams and masonry tanks with fry of the most commercialized species on the market, are: Tilapia, Carp and Tambaqui. As a case study, the concordia / santa cruz and old engenho I settlements were selected, in the city of São Lourenço da Mata, in the Zona da Mata area of Pernambuco, where interviews were made with the settlers who worked with fish farming, in 2018. Based on the information collected, it was found that the state and federal public policies were not determinant factors for settlers to introduce pisciculture as an activity complementary to income, since the absence of the same at the place searched was verified. Moreover, it was possible to verify that this activity became the main source of their income and no longer to complement. It was also concluded that the dynamics in the settlements consisted of three important points: a) The concession of lots for the families; b) The implementation of fish farming autonomously by the settlers and finally c) It was evident the profitability of fish farming for family income.
