The silence of the dawn of March 31, 1964, is cut by movements that would alter the entire Brazilian reality. On April 1, the military and civilian forces would actually carry out President João Goulart's deposing plan beginning the period known as the Brazilian dictatorial period. Upon the nation's defense aegis has sprung a whole repressive web that will make heavy efforts to maintain the regime at all costs. The use of violence in the cellar of the dictatorship embodied in torture to opponents the most obtuse way of punishing and disciplining the bodies of subversive sayings, no group of people can escape the clutches of the repressive organs, this communication aims to analyze prisons and tortures made to a specific segment, the children. We propose to discuss under what circumstances these arrests were made, what motives allowed the actions that would take them imprisoned, we seek to understand what practices these infant bodies and minds suffered within the cellars of the repressive organs.

(2022-12-05) Lessa, Lorena Liandra Emídio; Tassitano, Rafael Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8162584900913172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3532218757424078
Social isolation was used as a tactic to slow the spread of severe respiratory syndrome caused by coronavirus type 2 (SARS -CoV-2) in several countries around the world, including Brazil. As a result, schools were closed and children's schedules were changed, which had an impact on diet, sedentary behavior and physical activity. The aim of the study is to analyze changes in diet, sedentary behavior and physical activity among school-age children during the COVID-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional study with a quantitative-qualitative methodology was carried out with 120 fathers, mothers or other guardians of children aged 5 to 10 years enrolled in five full-time schools in Arapiraca, Alagoas, Brazil. A cross-sectional study with a quantitative-qualitative methodology was carried out with 120 fathers, mothers or other guardians of children aged 5 to 10 years enrolled in five full-time schools in Arapiraca, Alagoas, Brazil. To achieve the research objective, two interviews were carried out between May 27 and June 5, addressing topics such as sedentary behavior, physical activity and food before and during social isolation. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found in routine and sleep time (10% increase), screen time (36% increase) before vs during the COVID-19 pandemic, on weekdays and weekends, which involves sedentary behavior. It was also observed a reduction in the practice of physical activity (54%) and worsening in food (66.7%). Therefore, the results point to COVID-19 pandemic behaviors that can be harmful to children's health, and schools can be a key social environment for protection against exposure to such behaviors.

The present research aims to analyze the changes suffered in the Brazilian adoption legislation. The research covers since the first legislation in Brazil, which is the Law for the Disinherited Children of Luck, in 1926, until the enactment of Law 13.509/2017. The text highlights the Law 12.010/09, entitled New Adoption Law, addressing its changes. The data from the new online panel of the National Adoption and Reception System (SNA, in Portuguese), implemented nationwide in 2019, show that the number of children and adolescents sheltered in foster care in Brazil is high. Based on these data, and through a review of materials and documents already published on this topic, this article seeks to expose the journey that adoption legislation has taken in Brazil. First of all, adoption had a character of religious charity, after which it started to have a primary function, to satisfy couples who could not have children. Then, the adoption became an institution of heirs. Nowadays, it is seen as an institute of solidarity, with the aim of helping institutionalized minors, providing a home and a family for these children and adolescents, equated to their legitimate children.
