It aims to provide comprehensive training by combining theory and practice through supervised training. With a workload of 420 hours, the internship was carried out at the Regimento Dias Cardoso, a cavalry unit of the Military Police of Pernambuco, in Veterinary Formation. During the internship, various activities of the equine medical clinical routine were observed, including dietary recommendations, prophylactic measures, surgical procedures, and management of veterinary emergencies. The internship allowed for the application of theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the course and provided an immersive practical experience in an extra-hospital institution, which was of utmost importance for professional development.
