(2022-06-17) Santos, Melquisedeque Luna dos; Silva, Nêrian Aguiar da; Silva, Ana Paula Teixeira Bruno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7567099861370352; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2909922763234651
Astronomy teaching in most schools appears in a shy way, and usually the themes are approached when they are presented in textbooks. Therefore, this work had as main objective to analyze the contributions of an educational rocket workshop to promote scientific investigation, in the study of oblique launching with 1st year high school students. Thus, awakening the interest of young people in scientific investigation. The methodology used was based on a qualitative approach, using two questionnaires as data collection tools: one to collect the students' previous knowledge, and the other to verify their ideas after the experience of the activities. The procedures included an expository class to discuss the scientific concepts about oblique launching, a workshop to assemble and launch rockets, and a bibliographic research. The results showed that the Rocket Workshop allowed the students to understand the fundamental concepts of the oblique launch and awakened their interest in participating in the Brazilian Olympics of Astronomy and Astronautics (OBA) and the Brazilian Rocketry Show (MOBFOG).

This work aims to contribute to the teaching of the discipline of Astronomy in regular school. In order to do so, we will explain the importance of the astronomer and mathematician Johannes Kepler (1571-1630), and his laws, for the development of the study of celestial bodies, their history, and the scientific revolution, a paradigm shift, caused by his achievements in science. Finally, we will present a software designed to facilitate the study and understanding of Kepler's laws to be used by teachers and students of basic education.

Elementary School Education is a right of all children and teenagers in Brazil. The Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum– BNCC is a normative document which determines a set of essential learnings for all stages. Education in Astronomy is present in two of them: Elementary School and High School. In this work, the objective was to analyze the contributions of the didactic sequence about stars, planets and satellites to students at the 1st year of high school, in the construction of scientific knowledge, in a Kellyan perspective. The methodology used adopted a qualitative approach, that contains a didactic sequence based on the Kellyan Experience Cycle (CEK), and which was developed by students from a Public School, in Pernambuco. The CEK is organized cyclically in five learning stages: Preview, Investment, Meeting, Confirmation or No Confirmation, and Constructive Revision. Various activities about the topic stars, planets and satellites were carried out in each of these stages, such as: preliminary questionnaire, drawings and interviews; individual list, brainstorm in teams and surveys, during the Investment; lives with astrophysicists, use of the celestial planisphere of Pernambuco, Station Rotation method in the class, slide show and Stellarium, at the Meeting; conduction of the game “Star Trail”, at the Confirmation or No confirmation; and brainstorm revision, at Constructive Revision. Based on the analysis of each stage, we found that the didactic sequence developed, based on the CEK, favored learning and was efficient in the Teaching of Science and Astronomy. An educational product was created in the form of a Didactic Guide, that seeks to contribute to the construction of scientific knowledge about stars, planets and satellites. It is expected that this material can be used by science teachers, and contribute to the process of continuing teacher education.

This work presents a historical review of the Brazilian Semi-Arid Science Popularization Week (POP Week) and its contribution to the region. In this sense, we sought to identify the different roles played by partners in the promotion and appropriation of scientific-technological knowledge. It was also sought to describe the actions of the Popularization of Science in the Brazilian Semiarid region as a form of social inclusion, as well as to prepare a booklet, as na educational product, that presented the POP Week as a means of promoting the realization of a popular scientific event. For that, the concepts of university extension, the challenges in the diffusion of scientific knowledge, scientific literacy and the popularization of science were used as theoretical support. Based on these concepts, the historical trajectory of the Week for the Popularization of Science in the Brazilian Semiarid region is described as a pollinator of actions that permeate scientific literacy, the popularization of science and social inclusion, through dialogic constructions between the actors involved in the process, permeating academic knowledge and popular knowledge. Thus, it was observed that the partnership between academia and the general population is powerful and possible. Therefore, this proposal can be applied in other regions of the country.
